I shot up in a cold sweat once again and the heartbeat in my ears like all the previous nights. I had learned in the short time to steady my breath quickly so in a matter of seconds my breathing was normal and the heartbeat was only a faint sound in the back of my mind. I sighed before squeaking when I felt something go up my leg above the covers of the bed I lay in.

I looked down to see a pure black King Cobra slithering toward me. He flicked out its tongue in a hiss when it saw me awake and sitting up before continuing his journey toward my torso. I giggle as its cold scales twisted around my torso before going around my shoulders and the back of my neck.

"Nice to see you again, Apollo," I grinned while the black male king cobra hissed at me again in his way of saying hello to me. I giggle at the snake before delicately stroking my fingertips over the back of his head. His head relaxed at my touch as he swished his the tip of his tail like a cat at the attention he got from me.

"I thought you'd like to see Apollo again," A male voice made me whip my head to the left to see a smiling figure in a familiar leather jacket. I squealed before jumping out of bed and running over to the male who chuckled at my childish behavior.

"Demetri," I grinned while engulfing him in a hug while Apollo slithered to wrap around my torso and come up from behind my right shoulder. He hissed at me before laying his head on my shoulder while staring at the male who hugged me back with a smile on his face.

"I'm glad you're happy to see me again," Demetri chuckled before pulling away from my smiling form. Apollo tightened his hold on me in a possessive way like usual. This snake is the most possessive thing I have ever encountered.

"Of course I would be," I answered with crossed arms before noticing I wasn't in my bedroom but an unfamiliar one. I looked around a bit trying to think where I was before turning to Demetri again. "Where are we?"

"We are at the man named Frankenstein's house," he answered politely making me nod slowly while the words sunk in. When they did, I instantly face palmed remembering falling asleep on the couch next to Rai. I heard Demetri sigh in amusement before speaking up again. "And you have a change of clothes on the desk over their," He pointed to the greyish blue desk in the corner against the wall.

It had a stack of clothes that looked like black skinny jeans, a random T-shirt, my leather jacket, and shoes.

'How the hell did they get my clothes over here,' Was my only thought before I was brought out of my head by Apollo hissing at me. I looked over at him only to see him looking at the desk next to my clothes were a dead rat in a plastic container sat.

I rolled my eyes before walking over to the desk and popping open the container. Apollo instantly attacked the dead mouse, unraveling himself from my body and landing on the desk in the process. I rolled my eyes at the king cobra devouring its meal before looking at a very amused Demetri.

"I will leave you to get changed," he smiled before glancing at the snake who had most likely dislocated his jaw to get the whole rat down, like usual. Demetri held back a grimace before looking back at me with a small smile. "The others are waiting in the living room for you."

And with that, he was gone leaving me with the snake eating a dead rat from a plastic container.

It had been around a half an hour sense Demetri had stepped out of Jayden's current room in the home. The others sat around silently, not knowing what to talk about with the new male.
The seconds ticked by until the click of the lock being opened was heard and the sound of a door opening along with the click of heels followed.

A few seconds later a very surprising sight rounded the corner into the living room surprising almost everyone.

Jayden walked out with a black tank top with the saying 'Moonshine: Water of Life' printed in bold white letters. Her skirt was replaced with grey acid-washed jeans and her white heels were now black boots with thick heels while a black leather spiked jacket was in the place of her blazer. Her vibrant green eyes popped out from the black and silver eyeshadow covering her eyelids while her lips were painted with a deep wine red color. Her usual emerald and a green collar were around her neck and earrings of silver Winchester bullets with wings hung from her ears while the gold ring she always wore on her right ring finger was in its place. Her hair was up in a small half ponytail of her bangs while the rest hung down over her shoulders and down her back.

But what shocked them the most was the snake that was laying over her shoulders and across the back of her neck. Part of his long body twisted around one of her arms while the rest went across her shoulder over the back of her neck. Its head was over her other shoulder with the hood on the sides of its neck flared showing off that it was a King Cobra to the others.

"Is that a snake," Every male besides, Raizel, Frankenstein, and Demetri, yelled making the Cobra hiss at him while Jayden coldly glared at them. Demetri softly rolled his eyes while Frankenstein mischievously grinned and Raizel lightly smirked under his cup of tea he was drinking.

"Yes, his name is Apollo," Jayden answered nonchalantly like it was the most natural thing in the world. Her fingertips gently stroked Apollo's head making him close his eyes and flick the end of his tail much to the others shock and amusement. Jayden smiled at her scaly companion while continuing to speak. "He is a pure black male King Cobra," Jayden glanced at M-21, Regis, Takeo, Rael, and Tao who were practically gawking at the pet snake wrapped protectively around the female. Jayden giggled to herself as she gracefully walked over to the couch and sat down in the open seat in between Demetri and Raizel.

"Why the hell do you have him here," M-21 practically screamed making Apollo tighten his wrap around the female in a protective manner while hissing at the silver-haired male. The snake brandished its long pointed teeth making the three scared standing males jump back a bit at the sight.

"I brought him," Demetri confessed before taking a drink of his water that Frankenstein had given him. "I thought Jayden might like her favorite Posinise little buddy," The male had to hold back a chuckle at the three modified humans and two male Noble's terrified and shocked expression before Takeo spoke up.

"You haven't taken the poison sack out of that thing," He looked at the female and snake in horror was he slightly pointed at the said creature. Jayden shook her head with a shrug of her shoulders.

"I never have with any of my snakes," The female stated simple thinking it was a completely normal thing. "I think it's cruel," Jayden shrugged again as the four males blinked at her shock still coursing through their bodies.

Silence fell over the room for a few moments with only a tick of a clock and a few hisses from Apollo in Jayden's ear.

"Demetri," Jayden was the one who broke the silence making the dirty blonde haired male snap the soft gaze of his grey eyes to her. "Why are you here?" The female raised an eyebrow while Apollo hissed at the male like he was asking the same thing.

"Oh well, the Elk sent me over," He smiled politely while swirling the ice around in his glass of water making Apollo follow the motion of the glass, mesmerized. "He heard of what the knight did and sent me here to help Harris make sure you are safe," Demetri stopped his movements with glass making the snake put its head on its owner's shoulder, looking like it was dizzy.

Jayden nodded slowly taking in the information while holding her chin with her thumb and pointer finger. She tapped her finger on her chin while thinking of the situation before sighing and looking at the people standing and sitting in front of next to her.

"I just don't know why they are attacking ever since I befriended you," the female mumbled to herself before looking over at the snake who started unwinding itself from her. She raised an eyebrow as it slithered over the back of her neck toward Raizel who's eyes followed the snake. "Apollo what are you-

Jayden cut herself off when the King Cobra slithered into Raizel shoulders and laid there like it was the most normal thing in the world to do at the moment. Jayden blinked at the scene in front of her, looking between the male elegantly drinking tea and the snake resting on his shoulders. It took a few more moments for her to speak up after taking in what just happened.

"H-how did you d-do that," The female stuttered in surprise. She points from the cocky snake to the amused Raizel in a flabbergasted state making everyone look at her with raised eyebrows while Frankenstein and Demetri was the only one who understood the situation but only

Frankenstein understood it fully...

The look in my lover's eyes was amusing as she stared at me and the snake that randomly slithered onto my shoulders. Apollo was the snake I had gotten her when I found out she was the predecessor of the former Snake. I made Frankenstein make sure it aged the same way she and I did so it would never leave her.

She looked at me and the snake as I shrugged at her question. She blinked at me more before male on the other side of her, Demetri, patted her head while looking at me with amused eyes. I took a drink of my tea while my love slowly turned away from me, still in a state of shock.

I chuckled quietly to myself, making sure she didn't here. I felt Apollo hiss at me like he was amused by the situation. I smirked slightly to myself as I thought of the memory of when I first gave her the creature.

~~~Flashback~~~

"Okay Cadis, you better have a good reason for having Frankenstein drag me out of the bed at" My love stopped her scowling me to look down at the black metal watch on her wrist to check the time. "5 o'clock in the morning," She glared back up at me while crossing her arms at me. "Couldn't I have at least gotten dressed in my day clothes?"

I glanced down at her attire which was a blood red satin nightdress that went to the middle of her thighs. It had see-through lace bordering the top and bottom. It was quite a pleasing sight but that was for later.

"Just come here my love," I beckoned her over to the open window I stood by making her glare at me. Her eyes flickered from me to the open window blowing in a soft breeze before going back to me.

"You really want your lover to stand by an open window," She narrowed her eyes at me while I raised an eyebrow at her wondering what her point was. That was answered when she continued...

"In a thin nightdress."

I sighed at my stubborn beloved before reaching out and grabbing her wrist, making her uncross her arms. I pulled her towards the window and myself earning my groan from her in return. She pouted as she hugged herself as I placed next to me in front of the window.

"Okay now that you forced her over here," She started, turning her body to face me while crossing her arms again with still narrowed eyes. "What are we doing?"

"Just wait," I simply stated glancing at her irritated form before looking back at the sky with a small amused smirk on my lips. It took a few moments but soon enough the sun started rising making the sky turn orange and gold. I heard my lover gasp from beside me while covering her mouth slightly.

"That is amazing," She mumbled making me smile softly at her. She looks beautiful in the early morning like making me smile a bit more before stepping closer to her. I wrapped my arms around her from behind making her lean into my chest while we both gazed at the sunset.

It was quiet once again for a few moments before Jayden squeaked at the sudden movement coming from underneath my jacket. She whipped around pressing her palms to the windowsill while glazing from the movement of my jacket and my face.

"What in Apollo's name was that," she snapped with panic in her voice making me chuckle at her shocked and frightened from the sensation she just felt against her back.

"Your gift," smirked while gently pulling out a teenage black male King Cobra from under my Jacket. Jayden squealed with delight as the black snake hissed softly before slithering from my hands and around her shoulders resting its head next to her ear. She giggles before looking up at me.

"Thank you," She smiled up at me before going on the tips of her toes and pecky my smiling lips lightly while the snake hissed. I wrapped my arms around her waist while leaning my forehead against hers.

"Your welcome, my love," I smiled down at her as she and the snake looked back up at me.

I missed moments like that after she was taken from me in the middle of the night. Going asleep with her in my arms but waking up with her gone was my worst nightmare come true. It's why even sense that night, I never got good rest. That was until I saw her again, even if she doesn't remember me. She soon will.

I will just have to find a way to have her lost memories return.
