LYRA'S. P.O.V

Squeee! I still can't believe that Andrew said that to me yesterday,  I can still feel his warm lips touch mine.   I haven't told his sister,  my roomie about what happened yesterday,  so I plan to tell her today!

I was determined to tell her,  thank goodness it's a day off today and the next day is the dance ,   And then after we have our winter break that's like 3 weeks long!
Zoe just took her shower and changed into her normal clothes.

Lyra: Hey,  Zoe can I talk to you about something

Zoe: Yup! First off what's the topic?

Lyra: * blushing *  W-well... Ummm

Zoe: Your blushing! Now you have to tell me

Lyra: It's about your brother,  Andrew

Zoe: What about him? 

Lyra: Well... yesterday h-he said that he has f-feelings for m-me,  that he
l-loves me... * blushing like crazy *

Zoe: * jaw dropped *  SQUEEE!

Lyra: !

Zoe: Lyra I'm so happy for you! Tell me all the juicy details !

Lyra: Ok, Ok,  but first will you stop screaming?!

So I told Zoe every thing that happened yesterday with Andrew and I.
I told her about us going in the maze, I told her what he said to me and I told her what I said. And of course I told her about the kiss.

Zoe: My brother asked you out to the dance?

Lyra:Y-yeah

Zoe: Then we gotta go shopping for what are we going to wear

With that said we put on our winter dresses and over it we wore our coats. Zoe's outfit was all shades of blue, and mine was white and pink.
When we've made it to the city,  Zoe and I rushed to the tailors.

Zoe: come on we got time to look for our gowns

Lyra: Ok,  don't push me,  I can look for my dress by my self

Me and Zoe separated and spent like an hour looking for our dresses.
Finally we narrowed down our choices into 2 dresses for both of us.
So we decided to do a miny fashion show in the dressing room

Zoe's first dress

Zoe: What do you think?

Lyra: Well it's cute but a bit reviling!

Zoe:Ok I'll try the other one , but it's still gold!

Lyra:* rolls her eyes * you always were gold dresses

Zoe's second dress

(Pretend Zoe's hair is blond)

Zoe: what-do you think of this one?

Lyra: Way cute you should wear that one!

Zoe: I will, now its your turn

Lyra's first dress

Lyra: well?

Zoe: looks god but maybe try the other one

Lyra:ok

Lyra's second dress

(Pretend her hair is brown)

Lyra : what do you think?

Zoe: Its perfect! It matches winter

Lyra: Thanks!

Zoe: I'm sure Andrew will think that you look beautiful!

Lyra: R-really * blushing * you think so?

Zoe: Yup!

When we've made our decisions,  took the dresses to the tailor for us to buy.

Tailor: That would be $150 each

Zoe and Lyra: ( that's a low price for dresses like these )

We paid the tailor and made our way back to the academy,
( I hope Andrew will like it )

ANDREWS P.O.V ( the same day the girls shopped)

I'm so happy that me and Lyra are together,  I've already told Max, her brother what happened.

Max:Andrew,  I'm proud of you,  you finally asked out my sister

Andrew: heh, thanks!

Max: Come on! We gotta get shopping for our tuxes

Andrew: I'm coming! ( Sheesh! He's the only guy I know that actually wants to shop )

Max dragged me to the tailors in the city,  as we entered we were greeted by a gentle young man.  As Max showed me the tuxes, I had my interest on a couple of tuxes. So did Max he happens to have an interest on another pair of tuxes. We took the tuxes that we like and decided to wear them and see how they looked like.

Max's first tux

Max: oooh I this one looks good,  what do you think Andrew?

Andrew: why do you ask me?

Max: I want to now your opinion,  now tell me what do you think ?

Andrew: well,  white isn't really your color,  so why not try the other one?

Max: Ok

Max's second tux

Max: How 'bout this one?

Andrew: looks good! It suits you!

Max:Thanks now let me see yours

Andrews first tux

Max: You don't really want to be dancing in that do you?

Andrew: What do you mean?

Max: I mean you look good,  but that's just boring,  I've seen to many black tuxedos in my life

Andrew: Ok,  I get it,  I'll try the other one

Andrews second tux

Max: Perfect! But maybe ditch the glasses?

Andrew:Fine

Max : Man! You look better in white than I do!

Andrew: Heh! * mischievous grin *

They paid for their tuxedos and headed for the academy and to the boys dorm.

* THE NEXT DAY * ( evening)

LYRA'S P.OV

Lyra: Wow! The ballroom is glamorous!

Zoe: Yeah pretty big too!

The ballroom is decorated with blue streamers,  snow flakes hanging every where,  and they just installed the big sparkly disco ball,  and we were all greeted by a white silk banner,  with the words that looks like blue crystals. 

Lyra: Zoe,  Andrew hasn't showed up yet

Zoe: Yeah and Jason nowhere in sight

??? : you girls look lonely

Lyra and Zoe : Huh?!

We turned  around to see James and his friends ( from our class )
Suddenly we were surrounded by boys.

Lyra: ummm ( They are way too close! )

James: * looking at me , licking his lips *

Zoe: eep! ( one of them is touching me! )

James was about to plant a kiss on me but thank goodness...

Max :Hey! Back off my sister!

Jason: Yeah ! And MY girlfriends off limits!

Zoe: Jason! Help!

Lyra: Brother hurry!

MAX'S  P.O.V

I just got to the ballroom with Jason,  Andrew is still getting ready.
Then I saw a cluster of boys surrounding 2 girls,  It took a while but me and Jason recognized those girls. It was my sister, Lyra and her friend also Jason's girlfriend,  Zoe.

Max: Hey! Back off my sister!

Jason: Yeah! And MY girlfriends off limits!

Zoe:Jason! Help!

Lyra: Brother! Hurry!

Our faces red with rage,  we ran to the boys who are around Lyra and Zoe. I hate it that most boys have a crush on my sister,  I don't want her to be hurt! But Andrew is different Lyra actually likes Andrew and only Andrew.

Zoe: Eeep! One of them is touching me! * panicked *

Jason: Know one touches my girl!

Lyra: I don't like this!

Max : Don't you dare do the same with my little sis!

The group was terrified of Jason and I,  they ran away from us.
We stopped in front of the girls,  clenching my fist,  I tried to calm down.

Andrew : Are you ok Lyra?

Lyra: Yeah,  I just panicked,  they were way too close! I couldn't breath!

Max:Huh?

Turning around I saw Andrew comforting my sister,  which made her smile,  which made me smile ,  I love it when my sisters happy,  Andrew is the kind of man that I want for my sister.

Kiera: Max,  are ok? I saw the whole thing

Max: Kiera,  I'm fine,  I just didn't want anything to happen to my sister you know that

LYRAS P.O.V

I looked for my brother, then I spotted him with his girlfriend Kiera.

Lyra: THANKS,  MAX!

Max : NO PROB!

As I looked at Kiera she looked dazzling in her gown....

Suddenly the lights dim and a slow song came. My heart pounded this is a slow dance. I felt like, I would faint. But Andrews hands slipped into mine.

Lyra: ?!

Andrew: May I have this dance ? * blushing*

Lyra: * smiled * You may * blushing*

Andrews hand went into mine, the other rested on my waist, my hand in his, and the other is resting on his shoulder.

ANDREWS P.O.V

Dancing with Lyra is a dream, but this isn't a dream this is the real!
I could see the other dateless boys staring at me and Lyra. I gave them a smirk.

The bright moonlight landed on her silky threshes as we moved towards the balcony.

Andrew: ( she's so beautiful )

As we were dancing onto the balcony, we came to a stop. She stared at me with those sweet pink eyes of hers. My hand brushed her cheek...

Andrew: Your so beautiful

Lyra: * blushing * and you're so cute

Andrew: * blushing * T-thanks

Our face drew closer our eyes closed, I felt her soft lips press against mine.
We shared a deep, passionate kiss, underneath the quite night.
As we parted Lyra threw her arms around my neck and gave me a tight hug. I returned her hug with mine, then she whispered in my ear...

Lyra: I love you Andrew

Andrew: And I love you

And we again shared another passionate kiss, this night wasn't like any other this night was surely special and memorable.
