The two lovers finished their dinner very late. They were the last table to leave the building. The time flew by, they kept talking and talking. Now the sun had long disappeared and the moon was high up in the sky. Together they walked side by side through the empty streets back home.

"Normally i would be asleep already" Taehyung chuckled.

Jungkook smiled, he himself would be out looking for blood at this hour. That was their main difference. At night he was the scary vampire humans think he is, but a lover by day.

"You know.... I'm not scared anymore to walk here" The merman spoke again.

"really? Why not anymore. Its dark, its scary hours."

Taehyung smiled and grabbed Jungkook's hand, swaying it back and forth happily. "because you are with me. I don't have to be afraid"

"baby...." the vampire's eyes softened, he felt so warm inside knowing that the merman trusts him so deeply.

"but....Sometimes i feel useless...." Taehyung continued. Making Jungkook's heart eyes fade and change into concerned ones. "I am so different from you.... I'm not a supernatural strong being like you. I don't have special powers, nothing that is useful here on land.... I live during the day while you can only freely move during the night."

"tae..."

"I want to put something in our bond too... But I got nothing, I am no match to protect you the way you protect me. I have nothing to give-"

"Tae, just stop it. I have not asked you anything. I am not expecting anything like that. I don't need you to be strong or whatever. Just to be you. I fell in love for you. You made me feel cared for. You have so much to give me.... You Don't realise it but you give me so so much. So much love, warmth and feelings i haven't ever felt before. You are my everything Taehyung". Jungkook spoke, he stopped walking and made the merman face him. When he did he cupped taehyung's face gently and connected their lips. They shared a warm kiss for a few seconds before parting. But jungkook kept his face cupped. "i love you Taehyung, just the way we are."

"I....I love you too, so so much" Taehyung teared up a little from getting emotional by this. He hugged the other who wrapped one arm around the merman's shoulder. Walking linked like that, the last path home. People wouldn't expect it to be possible....Well to have it work out. Two completely different worlds meet and end up living together in one. Yet this couple did that, and they were being very good at it.

The 24 hours had passed and it was late again. The same time as when he bit the other and they connected. Jungkook looked at Taehyung who sat on the couch with a big glass of water.
The merman had felt quite dried out after being out in the wind for that long.

"so....Did you like it today?" the vampire asked, a little bit nervous. He always felt nervous when it was about taehyung, maybe not liking something. Because he wants the other to always be happy and do the right thing for him. He hopes for a positive answer.

"i actually really liked it." Taehyung smiled and put the glass down on the same table in front of the couch. Jungkook started walking over to him.

"really?? Oh, I'm glad to hear that. I did

"yea, how could i not? You made me breakfast, bought me the most beautiful clothes I've ever seen and took me out to dinner" The merman smiled and grabbed Jungkook's hands when he sat down next to him. "but even if i didn't get all that.... You love me, you make me smile. That's enough for me to be happy"

"you are the sweetest creature there is. I'm so lucky "Jungkook smiled and kissed the back of taehyung's hand that held his. This made the other blush.
"I am really thankful to you Tae, that you're willing to spend my whole life with me. That you can love me even if we are totally different creatures." he spoke. Taehyung felt there was more he wanted to say so he kept silent.

Jungkook continued, "the first time i saw you I didn't think it was real. I watched you a lot from my window, at first it was boredom. But eventually I became interested. I wanted to speak to you, but that didn't go so well once I gathered the courage to approach you."

Taehyung chuckled. "You scared me, i thought i was going to die"

"I was sad when you left. I didn't think you would even come back. I thought I lost my chance, but then you came back. And saw my note. We began to talk, I began to feel again. And now....Here we are" The vampire sighed, not in a sad way. But in a dreamy way. "I never ever thought we would end up here like this. Bound together"

"I'm happy I decided to go back, if i didn't i wouldnt be here with you. And it was even stranger for me to even think about this back that day."
Taehyung smiled. "But right now I wouldn't trade it for anything else. I don't need my ocean home, i got a new home right here, with you."

"together, with you" Jungkook smiled.

Taehyung smiled and replied,

"with you till the end"
