Followed by the alarm the door burst open and a guard ran inside. "Sir Hwuan, we have a big problem! T-there is a vampire attacking us"

"then kill it-"

"We tried, but he is breaking through. He is inside. You have to leave now" the guard was in a panic. He looked behind him into the hallway. "sir, i don't think there is much time."

"You are telling me you are incapable of killing ONE vampire? To which I trained you for?"

"boss.  He is different. We cant spot him, he is fast and.... Ruthless. I think he comes for that" the guard pointed to the merman behind Hwuan.

"wait..." Hwuan's eyes widened in realisation. "shit shit!" he could hear a scream in the distance. He should have expected this, but it didn't cross his mind that he would find them.

"sir-"

"Get him on transport! Now!" Hwuan said and pointed his finger to the door making hurrying motions. "i can not lose this one." He watched how his men secured the glass container with straps and pushed it back on a wheeled trolley.
They began to hurry out of the room. Followed by Hwuan and his guards.

Hwuan can not lose this perfect find. Such a rare merman, a little damaged but that cam be fixed. Luckily his worth is so high that the decrease in value can be compensated. But having a male also means he could make more, he could grow his own and sell them, slaughter them and sell them in parts.

That would make him even richer.

Hwuan began to chuckle while he walked. Yes, that was the perfect idea. And this one was a good start. His sick mind was not even slightly affected by the scared eyes that looked back at him from behind the glass.

His thoughts got interrupted by the sound of a loud echoing scream followed by a heavy thud against the wall. Hwuan and the others turned their heads, halting in their steps. Behind them they saw one of the guards that had been thrown against the wall a big blood splatter on the light grey wall and his body on the ground.

"He's here, run, run. Get him on that fucking transport now!" Hwuan pushed his men to make them go faster. Meanwhile he ordered two guards to stay behind and hold the enemy off. Which they did. Standing their ground with their weapons. Ready to face a dark being.

Nervously the guards gripped their crossbow and sword tighter waiting for the enemy to show themselves. The steps of their colleagues and boss fading away behind them. It was getting oddly silent.

Was it dead?

No its still here,

They could feel its presence....

It got heavy.

"He left you two behind to die...." a voice spoke through the echoing halls. The voices came from all around them. They couldn't tell if it was in the hall in front or behind them. "my anger, and my revenge. You are in my way, so you won't be spared either"

"We don't fear you, Vampire!" one of the guards said and turned around thinking the enemy was there.

But he was wrong. In front of the other guard Jungkook appeared from the shadows with a dark expression on his face.
"You should" and with that he bit down in the man's throat ripping his neck apart and dropping him back down.

"ahhh!"

Hwuan and the others were still running. The water inside the box splashed around making taehyung bonk against the glass a lot. He held a hand on his head to protect it from the hits.

They were almost there. The group reached the exit door that opened at their arrival and they ran outside the bright sun hitting their face made them feel safe.

Vampires don't go out in the sun, it makes them hurt. Weak even.

"open up, we gotta move!" Hwuan shouted while they neared the escort. But before they could hand over the box with the merman behind them a voice called out.

"Hwuan, give him back to me"

The leader stopped talking and turned around slowly. Behind him he saw a red eyed figure stand in the doorway. His feet stopped at the line of the sun. "i give you one chance"

"no Vampire, he is mine now. What you catch from the water is yours. You can buy him at the auction or buy one of his offspring later on" Hwuan grinned. "get him away guys" he said in a softer voice to his men. They nodded and continued to get the box ready.

"Hwuan..."

"The sun is out, you are a vampire. Give up you've lost, the day has begun. Wait until the dark comes... But by then we will have vanished again. vampires might be strong in the night but in the day they are just scared weak beings..."

"If you won't give him to me.... Then i will take him back by force" Jungkook said and stepped into the sun. Right away he felt his skin getting hot. But he had to endure it. Taehyung needs him, he needs to be saved or else he will die.

"You. You'll get yourself killed!" Hwuan said seeing the vampire step into the sun. This man did not care at all. He was obviously determined to get to his goal.

And that was a little scary to hwuan, he had never seen any act like this before..

"guards kill him!" he ordered and walked forward aggressively stomping his cane down with each step as if it would make him move faster.

Meanwhile Taehyung was in the box. His eyes fixed on Jungkook. The one he loves that came for him... He didn't forget about him..... He didn't stop caring.... He was right there now.

But he didn't feel completely relaxed at the thought. But when he locked eyes with Jungkook he felt like crying. He wants to get out of this box, he wants to jump in his arms and cry. He needs Jungkook, but he can't reach him. Desperately he began to bang on the glass with one hand, calling for the raven who was almost literally burning in the sun.

Sadly for him this moment did not last long. It got cut off when a guard attacked  Jungkook and the vampire had to fight.
Taehyung's light eyes stared at the scene. He kept calling for him, but slowly his voice faded as the scene grew more brutal by the second.

He had to watch how Jungkook murdered those people. How he bit their skin off and also tore them apart. How he stabbed them with their own weapons..... The amount of blood and violence made Taehyung stop and freeze, his eyes wide staring at the scene. Jungkook was not done. He had turned towards him, but not looking at him. He was looking at Hwuan who took cover next to Taehyung's box.

"You filthy vampire! We should have killed you when we had the chance!"

"but you didn't. You forgot they had a son, I let you live. But now you've crossed the line" Jungkook spoke and slowly walked over to hwuan. A man he can not wait to remove out of his life.
"You will die. This whole group dies with it. Then he will be safe" Jungkook grabbed the man by the neck and raised him up. Looking up Jungkook had a hard time ignoring the intense pain on his skin and eyes.

He can not give in to it now, Not until Taehyung is safe. He had to endure just a little more.

"i hate vampires" The man hissed with his last bit of breath.

"feeling is mutual '' And with that jungkook slammed the Hwuan's head on the corner of the glass box. Blood splat onto the glass and the body dropped to the floor. He stood there looking at the scene. He does not remember the last time he had ever done so much....Violence. And for the first time... He was not proud of it...

Grabbing a rock from nearby he broke the glass. Water falling down like a waterfall taking taehyung with it who was now on the ground.

"Taehyung.... My love, my sweetest. I'm here now" Jungkook felt his whole body melt when he could finally touch his baby. But the melt froze up again when Taehyung looked at him with scared eyes and pulled his hands back.

"tae?"

"i-i.....You.....T-this..." Taehyung looked around while shaking. He could still see Jungkook murder them. He cant get it out. He felt scared to look at him now...

"love....I-its me, w-what's wrong?" Jungkook frowned hurt. This was not the plan, he should be happy why wasn't he happy? He saved him right? Then why was he scared....Was it.... Was it because how he saw him?.... "no... I-i would never hurt you. I-i..... Tae-"

"Jungkoo-oh my god!" Jimin's voice was heard, alarming Jungkook who stood up guarding the merman with his body.

"Jimin? Yoongi? Why are you here. You should be home!"

"we are friends, we needed to know if you were okay, a-and i think its safe to assume you are fine." jimin looked away. He felt like he was gonna puke if he looked at the corpses longer.

"g-guys, taehyung he..."

"ohno, Jungkook your skin. You look awful!" Yoongi spoke when they got closer. Jungkook's skin looked red and irritated. Any longer and it might start to boil.

Jungkook didn't hear it. He just looked back at Taehyung and tried to approach him again. But it didn't feel right when he looked so frightened. "Tae...I-i'm sorry. I-Im a good person"

"Jungkook, you really dont look good. We should go back" Yoongi was getting really concerned. He could see Jungkook was swaying on his feet.

"no...But..." Jungkook wanted to take a step back but he felt weak and stumbled. Quickly yoongi caught him and supported him. Meanwhile Jimin took off his jacket and draped it over Jungkook's head to cover it from the sunlight.

"Jimin, can you get Taehyung?" Yoongi said and began to walk already with the weak Jungkook.

Jimin nodded and he knelt down next to Taehyung who looked at him still with the shocked expression. "Hey Tae, we will get you home safely. Do you want me to carry you or can i help you dry?"

"i-i want to walk '' Taehyung said he did not feel comfortable to be carried in this form. And he was scared anyone would see him and take him away again. He'd rather walk.

"Okay" Jimin used his shirt to dry taehyung's tail looking away when the boy shifted. "Are you hurt?" Jimin noticed the stitched wound.

"its....Okay" Taehyung seemed a bit hazy. But he looked well enough to follow Jimin. He got some clothing to cover himself with from the two and they started to head back.

Im so sorry for this late late late laaate update. I am so busy to get my own business up so i can earn money. I gotta save up to move next year.

I hope you are still here and reading, i just finished my other story so i have my full attention to this one. Which means i will be able to update faster with my little free time.
