CHAPTER 14.2

"Now then Ana, shouldn't we cousins have a good time?" Ambrosia pale visage has a sneer on it.

"Look. I am sorry for whatever my body did, not me." Anastasius apologised before taking a seat beside Ambrosia's bed.

"I know brother. But the fact really saddens me that you were pushed to such a path from Day 1." The silver-haired empress said while taking a long breath.

"How is your health, Amy?" His gentle voice was something Ambrosia really missed.

"Just great, I think."

"That fiance of yours is really intriguing. But I am angry on the fact that he hadn't come to visit you."

"I told him to not come, besides..."

Ambrosia looked outside her window.

Bellios was having its prime season, winter right now.

Legends say she was born during winter

So that means she will die in the winter

Right?

"I am sorry for not saving your daughter."

"I should be really ashamed of myself. I don't know how can I repent for the work I have done." Anastasius gritted his teeth as he had a frown etched on his face.

"I suggest that the best way to repent is to give Athanasia some sincere blessings on her coming wedding. Besides, I have already booked a five-star prison for you." Anastasius snickered at Ambrosia's remark, wiping away the tears that were threatening to spill.

It's been a year after the war with the Obelians.

The court of Obelia renewed their peace treaty with Bellios and pledged to not block the trading routes that their traders take.

Athanasia was engaged with Lucas to strengthen the relationship with the Black Tower and has been preparing for the wedding that was due in spring.

"Now then, I think I should go to Obelia to give them some blessings."

"Anastasius died, but Viscount Patterson didn't.."

Ambrosia made it way clear to Anastasius

That he has to live as Viscount Patterson — His alter identity — From now on.

"I'll get going then." He said, getting up from his seat as the gems of Ambrosia came in, taking him out from her room.

"I swear my hand isn't letting me write a heartfelt letter to my dear Athy.." Ambrosia glanced towards the table, recollecting the memories from one year six months ago.

"Shall I write it for you, Your Majesty?" 'Apatite' asked while bringing in a pen and paper, "You can dictate me the words, and I will write them."

To The Empress Of Obelia

Dear Athy,

How are the preparations for the wedding going? I hope you have built the coffins for Lilian, Jeanette and Claude.

I hope that

Joy and Peace may surround you and Obelia

Contentment latch on your door

And happiness be with you

And bless you more!

May you tell Lucas

That I have told him to treat you well

So that you never get to shed a tear

Again as well.

That's all.

Ps:- Don't get worried about your guardian, she is still strong, you know.

From The Empress Of Bellios

Ambrosia De Alger Obelia Bellios.

"The content is so little." 'Apatite' sulked.

"Do I look like I could think more? Now go away and let me think."

"Haha looks like no." 'Apatite' chuckled as he got away to post the letter.

And once again her bedroom fell quiet.

It was already past midnight but Ambrosia wasn't sleeping.

She laid there, eyes fixed on the ceiling that had intricate designs with gold carved on it.

For three days she has been lying on her bed, her mana becoming more unstable, making her unable to perform any spells or magic.

She sighed, that was probably the only thing that was heard in the eerie silence.

That's when shivers ran down her spine as a black like shadow swished inside her room from the window that was left open.

"Don't scare me like that Satan." The silver-haired empress groaned as she tried to get up.

"I just sensed that you were in need to of me." Satan had an evil grin on his face as he forced Ambrosia to be on bed again.

"Me? Needing you? Oh come on!" She rolled her eyes at the comment her fiance made.

"Ofcourse you will." He retorted back with a smile as he covered her eyes with his palm.

"I am so happy right now..." The red eyed fiance of Ambrosia said in glee.

"What —"

That's when Ambrosia felt a yawn escape her lips.

"Rest In Peace Ambrosia. May you reunite with me in a newer way. Good night."
