I honestly had no idea what I was getting into when I read this fanfic. I thought it was a typical Draco and Harry turn friends turn lovers concept, but them being mates and a unique species for that matter was amazing. I love the the fact that it's Harry that's the creature and not Draco since it's quite common. I loved how in the earlier chapters, the author really, really, established the relationship of Harry and Draco as two boys needing a friend and finding it in each other. And as the author wrote the book, she allowed Harry to truly become his creature while interacting with the people around and and especially his lover.I absolutely loved the fact that she didn't go with the usual route of the story where Draco gets the mark. Instead, she goes for a different route while still having the elements of the actual story in tact with her own twist. I'm surprised not many people have read this book and voted on it.The style of writing was first person pointed of view depending on who the author wants to focus on, but later turns to third person which was absolutely amazing and engaging for the reader. Honestly, this would be my suggestion for anyone who likes a good old Classic Drarry fanfic. I can't wait to read the second book!
