CHAPTER 8
CHAPTER 8:
Not for me.
Quinn
"Are you sure it's going to look good?"
I smiled brightly and nodded yes. I decided to leave Cobra Kai, since fighting has never been my way, but I supported Eli and his choice to stay.
And "flip the script", whatever that means.
So he bought some permanent blue hair dye and asked me to help him dye it, and is even sleeping over so I can do his hair in the morning.
"You're done?" I nodded yes, setting the timer for forty minutes and then we would wash it out.
"You'll look great."
You always look great.
Sam got me thinking about Eli's possible feelings for me, and it made me blush everytime he was around.
"Eli, why weren't you replying to my texts? Were you angry with me?"
His eyes widened and he looked nervous to answer.
"I won't be mad. I promise."
"I just. . .for the longest time, it's been just you, Demetri, and I, and Miguel is awesome, but. . .what if I. . .what if I wanted it to just be u-?"
"I doordashed Chick-fil-A, it should-whoa," Mom came barging into my room, per usual.
"That's. . .intense," She noted.
"I'm going for a mohawk. My mom said it was okay," He quickly cleared up.
"Noted. So it should be here in ten, I gotta do a quick errand. Quinn, don't eat my sandwich, and Eli, don't let Quinn eat my sandwich," She smiled before walking out, not even closing the door and I heard her heels as she descended down the stairs and out the door.
"You're stuttering," I pointed out.
"It's gotten better."
"Y-yeah, just forcing that confidence, you know?" I nodded.
"Are you sure I can't convince you to stay? Cobra Kai needs representation, and I'll help you if you fall behind," The way he worded that kind of hurt me. It's not like I didn't want to stay because I don't know how to fight, it's because of that teacher. It baffled me that Eli wanted to stay after what happened.
"I'm not incapable, I just don't like it."
"Sorry, I-I didn't mean it like that," He apologized.
"It's fine."
The doorbell rang, signaling the end to this awkward conversation and I volunteered to get our food.
That was weird.
Why was he acting like that?
He knows I can defend myself.
Only it wasn't food when I opened the door.
But an old man.
"Oh. Hello, does Kristen Kreese live here?" He asked, looking around the house from his point of view and I tightened my grip on the handle.
I nodded no.
"What's your name?" I started to sign, knowing it was unlikely for him to. . .know. . .
"Quinn Moore."
"Ah, she took that. Okay," He smirked to himself, making me more nervous.
"I think you have the wrong house. Maybe you knew someone who lived here ten years ago?"
"Yeah, I did. My mistake," And he went about his way, almost bumping the actual delivery guy on his way off the sidewalk.
Okay.
That was weird.

Holy shit i just finished s3 and now it is DEFINITELY solidified that
Eli x Quinn is endgame. But that doesn't mean there's not going to be some angst along the way.
