"I love it when you talk nerdy," Of course, Yasmine at nine in the morning is already trying to seduce Demetri in the hallways.

"You are both the first and my favorite person to say that," Demetri smiled at her before they went in for their daily makeout and I turned to my own prince charming.

"I like the new look. It suits you better," He texted me a picture of it when I woke up.

"Really? Do I look hotter than before?" He asked, clearly full of himself and being cheeky.

"Definitely cuter," I pecked his lips, "being too hot is actually a problem and I just don't think I could handle it."

"If you can kick my ass in a food court, you can definitely handle the Hawk in his superior form," He wrapped his arms around my waist.

"That reminds me, what did you find out about this guy that showed up at Miyagi-Do?" The whole encounter gave me the creeps. I wasn't there, having my own meltdown that I decided to keep to myself for now, but the way everyone described it was like Kreese grew to seven feet and was also a rich evildoer.

"Just that he's rich and fought in Vietnam. Maybe that's how they know eachother," Eli shrugged.

"Maybe," I hummed.

He won't get mad, Quinn.

Just say it.

"Hey, how would you feel about me reaching out to Robby?" He immediately pulled away from me, like I just told him I cheated on him.

"What? Why would you do that?"

"I just have some questions that only Cobra Kai could answer," I grabbed his hand, making circles with my thumb, "Trust me, I would rather eat garbage than ever talk to Robby again, but there's some stuff going on and only he would be able to-"

"Do you want my honest answer?" He cut me off, making my heart almost stop from fear of what he was going to say.

Shit.

Bad idea.

He's going to retract, he's going to overthink.

"Yes."

"I don't think you should. I know what it's like to be in Cobra Kai and if someone came to me from the other side, asking for information? I would lie to them. Keene will do the same thing, and Tory would kill you just for stepping near the place," His grip on my hand tightened, and I had to remember that Eli was still recovering from being brainwashed by Kreese and his ideals. Miyagi-Do didn't trust him yet.

"You're right. It was stupid anyways."

Guess I'll have to do this the hard way.

"But do you think I could come by for some training sometime? I want to see if I could maybe get back into this," We started this together and I didn't want to be left behind.

"Only defense."

What?

"I thought we were learning both styles?" I questioned.

"Sensei went on a Twitter rant-"

"Lawrence knows how to use Twitter?"

"-Yeah, and now he's going to fight Mr. LaRusso," And that would mean that Eagle Fang and Miyagi-Do would split.

And I was originally in Miyagi-Do.

"Well, who says I can't learn both? I have you and you know everything that Cobra Kai does, and Lawrence. Only defense can't last forever."

Miyagi-Do should know this.

But Sensei is so stuck in his ways.

"I just don't want Cobra Kai to see you doing this and go after you. What if I'm not there to protect you?" But before anything else, the bell rang.

"Then I'll just have to learn to protect myself. Gotta get to Calculas, see you later," With one more kiss, I was off to focus on my schooling and grades while also having to know that I had to sneak around my own boyfriend to get the answers I wanted.
