CHAPTER 27
CHAPTER 27:
I tried. . .
Quinn
"Samantha LaRusso, you know what you did and now you're gonna pay for it. I'm coming for you, bitch!"
Can't we have one day without someone trying to commit homicide?!
Everyone rushed out into the halls and I kept my eyes trained for Sam and Tory, an adrenaline starting to rush through me at the thought of getting to punch that bitch in the face.
No!
No fights!
We need to talk this out.
"I saw what you did at the party," Tory said as I caught up with the crowd, circling Sam like a lion.
"You kissed Miguel."
Oh shit.
Before Sam could say anything, Tory went in for a punch but Sam dodged. Trying to run, she pulled her by her backpack and got in a good hook before kicking her back. Hawk shoved her back into the fight, only fueling my fire more to hurt a Cobra Kai.
"Stop!" Robby got in there and shoved Tory against the lockers, hard enough to make her stop and rethink attacking someone like Robby.
"I'm sure we can-"
But was immediately tackled by Miguel.
God damnit.
Everyone started to thirst for blood and went after eachother, Cobra Kais and Miyagi-Dos fighting in a full on blood bath. Not even stopping with them, but with other students who had no part in the madness.
"Stop it!" I heard a familiar voice shriek and immediately spotted Moon being backed into a corner by some dude.
With a Cobra Kai logo on his shirt.
Adrenaline rushing through me, I ran towards him and yanked him back, pulling him to face me before aiming for his jaw and he stumbled back. Then he shoved me into a locker before going in to kick, but I quickly rolled to the side and roundhouse kicked him. But instead of it hitting his head, it hit his neck and he choked and held it as he tried to recover.
"No one goes after family," I snarled before grabbing his head and smashing it into my knee, and he fell to the ground with a groan.
"You didn't have to-"
"I've been holding in too much unnecessary anger for too long. Now it's time to let it out-"
"No!" She yelled.
"You're too good of a person - everyone here is! Or, atleast was. All this tension, all this fighting has changed that. Quinn, you're the perfect in-between them both. You can stop it."
"No way can I beat Tory-"
"I don't think violence is the answer, but in this case, it might have to be," She patted my shoulder.
"Now go take down that bitch."
I nodded before following the crowd, the cheering and hollering going on in the front and I quickly spotted Robby and Miguel fighting upstairs while Sam and Tory took their fight in the middle.
She doesn't need me, she-
But it made my heart drop when Tory struck Sam's arm with her weapon, one I recognized as barely being legal in the state of California.
Meaning she's been waiting for this.
Preparing.
You're going down.
"No mercy-" Before she could finish her sentence and cause permanent damage to Sam's face, I grabbed a fistful of her hair and twirled it into my fist before pulling her to face me.
"You may have handled your traumatic past differently, but mine didn't make me a bitter bitch," When she tried to move, I tightened my grip and yanked at the roots.
"It made me stronger."
Using a move I stole from her own dojo, I used the crown of my forehead and bashed it against her nose. She stumbled back and I quickly turned to Sam.
"Give her hell."
Blocking her punch from her face as she ran at her, Sam then shoved her towards the stairs before kicking her in the face and knocking her over one of the railings.
"Shit," Sam shuddered, holding her arm.
"Don't worry, everything is on camera," I assured her but she quirked her brow at me in confusion.
"Tory was the aggressor. And she brought a newly legalized weapon. She won't be coming ba-"
"Miguel!"
I didn't realize it then, but that's when I would grow closer to Hawk again. As I heard the panicked cry from Tory, my head whipped to see his body crash into one of the railings, his spine making a sickening crack that made my eyes sting.
"No. . .no, no, no!" I cried out, running down.
"N-no, please no," I sobbed, kneeling down on one of the stairs.
"Of all people, not you. . .please, not you," Miguel never judged me for what I was incapable of doing, and even though we did grow apart this summer, he always assured me that he was still my friend.
He was still there for me.
"Miguel," I heard Hawk whimper as the paramedics came in and I felt my throat close up.
"Miss, please move," I hesitantly moved away from his limp body as they started to check his neck.
For a pulse.
"Not him. Please God, not him," I was never much of a religious person but in this moment I was going to beg to whoever was out there, and I felt movement behind me.
Glancing with glossy teared eyes, I saw Hawk for once in these past few months show compassion with a heartbroken look on his face as he looked at me.
And I collapsed into his arms.
"P-please. . .just hold me," I sobbed, gripping hard onto his shirt because I feared the world might try to take him from me too.
"I'll never let go," He whispered.
"Not again."
///
Wow I cried. Okay, so onto s3. We'll obviously be seeing more bonding moments between Hawk and Quinn and Miguel. Also some tension between Kristen and her father, and finally. . .what really happened to Quinn to make her go mute.
