CHAPTER 12:
All Valley.
Quinn

I was miserable the next day. I completely avoided Eli and Demetri, dodging their questions and practically running away. I even muted their texts.

I just wanted to be alone.

"How're you feeling?" Sam asked as we walked into the All Valley, and I just shrugged. I cried in my moms arms until 1, and even after I couldn't sleep right.

"Why don't we go out after this? Your birthday is tomorrow, so we can get something you like," Knowing that being alone probably wasn't the best thing, I hesitantly nodded yes.

"Quinn, hey!" I felt my heart drop as soon as I heard his voice and footsteps running up to me.

"Why haven't you answered my texts? I-"

"Just leave her alone," Sam glared at him, holding me at her side while I looked down.

"I don't understand what I did. Quinn?"

Forcing myself to look up at him, he looked genuinely confused and even frustrated.

And that's what pissed me off.

"Go," I mouthed to Sam.

"Are you sure?"

I nodded and she walked to her family, glancing at me to make sure I was really okay with the boy infront of me.

"I didn't see you at the party, you're not answering my texts, not even Demetri knows what's going on-"

"Really? You don't know?" I signed, my eyes showing my anger.

"No, I don't! Why would I be asking if I did?!" He questioned.

"You of all people are not allowed to be angry at me right now. You're a piece of shit!"

"What are you talking abou-?!"

"You said that you were going to hug me to see me blush, to see me flustered over you. You said you had a surprise for me. And I go to the party and you're smacking faces with my cousin?!" I shoved him, earning some stares from his dojo.

"Moon? Yeah, so?"

I was trembling with anger at this point. I wanted to hit him, smack him, do anything to make him feel how I felt.

"You led me on! You made me feel like you were going to finally tell me that you liked me, and I didn't sleep because of you!"

"Quinn, I. . .I didn't mean it like-"

"So what? You tell every girl you want to see her blush over you now?"

A hot tear trailed down my cheek, trying so hard to stay composed.

"I like you, Eli. I've liked you since middle school, how could you have not seen that? You hurt me so much, and it. . .it feels like you just stomped on my heart. You don't realize the things you say can actually have an affect on someone. . .like me."

"Quinn, I'm not responsible for your mental shit. I can say what I want, wh-"

The moment those words left his mouth, I back handed him across the face. It practically echoed, but luckily everyone was mostly getting in their seats.

"You can go fuck yourself. Good luck finding someone like me."

"I'm so sorry that happened, honey," Mrs. LaRusso handed me a napkin and I blew my runny nose, staring away from Hawk and his group of karate friends.

Even if I could feel his gaze on me.

"Do you want me to take you home?"

I nodded no. I knew Robby, and he's been such a great friend to me, so even if things are rough between him and Mr. LaRusso right now, I'm determined to there for him.

"He doesn't deserve you. I'll make sure he doesn't even breathe in your direction," Sam swore, her eyes trained and glaring hard at him.

He's gone to my therapy sessions with me.

He said he wanted to be a caretaker. . .

Why would he say that?

I droned out for most of the matches, only really paying attention to the fact that Miguel was blazing through it all and was obviously going to win.

Until. . .

"Robby Keene, unofficiated-I'm sorry?" I perked up when the announcer mentioned his name.

Has he been fighting?

I haven't noticed.

"Robby Keene of Miyagi-Do Karate vs. Miguel Diaz of Cobra Kai!"

Robby smiled at Mr. LaRusso, and then he gestured towards us. Robby smiled and waved, and I waved back with a genuine smile.

But it didn't go unnoticed by the boy with the blue mohawk.

Fun fact: Unbeknownst to Kristen, Kreese made Terry Silver her godfather when she was born. Meaning if Kristen would lose rights to Quinn or die, Terry Silver would become her legal guardian.
