As we were walking to class,

Mich : She's spending more time with the senior guys more than us.

Hacks : Most of the time!

Me : Well, I don't see anything wrong in it. She's just being friendly.

Mich : She's flirting with them. She's wearing revealing clothes.

Me : Really?

Hacks : Yeah. We noticed she often flirts with Mathew. But it seems like he's not interested in her.

Mich : She's seriously acting slutty!

Me : Watch your tongue Michelle. She's our friend!

Hacks : But that's what's happening!

Me : Then why not instead of complaining, we help her out?

Mich : (sigh) Do what you feel is right Niya. But I gotta let you know something.

Me : Go ahead..

Mich : Mathew is boasting around the whole school that you are in a relationship with him!

Me : What?! Me?

Hacks : Yeah.. he was even saying that you guys spoke on the phone and were often texting.

Me : *speechless*

Mich : Something fishy is really going on. And I have a feeling that Veronica is involved.

Me : (deep breath) We'll sort it out later. Lessons are about to begin.

Snow was upset and was sitting apart from everyone
Her face was like she was about to cry. I walked to my girls.

"What happened?"

"Henry! That idiot made Snow upset!" Said Nana

"But he was very nice to me... " I said

"Just after you went, he showed us his true colours!" Said Zetty while crossing her arms.

"And he's really sweet talking to you! You better watch out Niya!" Said Nana just as the class monitor came in.

"Teacher is absent! Pls keep quiet!" He said.

I took my phone and went out of class. I don't care about Mathew! I already have my true love. But, why does he have to spread rumors about me? What does he get? I went to my locker where I kept the t-shirt Kelvin gave me. I hugged it tight and sniffed it. His smell reminded me of the sweet moments we spent together.

"I miss him so much!" I said aloud thinking no one was around me. A figure tapped my shoulder.

"Miss who?" Asked Mathew from behind unexpectedly. 
"Huh? No one!"

"Ummm.. ok. I just wanted to ask you if.... "

"Yeah...? "

"If... you would go out with me?"

I was silent for a moment. I didn't know what to say. Should I just tell himI already have a boyfriend?

"But before that, I need to clarify something.

"Okay....? "

"Why are you telling everyone that we are in a relationship?"

"Of course we are in a relationship!"

"What?? Since when?

"I proposed to you over the phone.. remember?"

"Huh?"

"And you said that I'm all you want.. "

"How did you get my number in the first place?"

"Veronica gave me your number.."

"But.. but I never talked to you on the phone!"

"What? Then who else?? It was exactly your voice. "

"Mathew..... you've been talking to someone else. I swear it was not me!"

"Are you playing the fool?"(angry)

"Look. I'm telling you it's not me. Show me the number.

He took out his phone and showed me the number he's been texting and calling.

"Mathew, that's not even my number. It's Veronica's.. "

"Ouh.. I'm sorry I misunderstood.."

"We should ask Veronica."

We called Veronica out of her class.

Mathew : Veronica, is this Niya's number?"(shows phone)

Veron : Yeah

Me : That's not my number!

Veronica : Ouh.. I think I might have mistaken.

Mathew : So with whom have I been talking to all these days?

Me : Mathew, why don't you call that number now.

Veronica : I gotta go. I have class..

Mathew : Wait.

Mathew called the number and just as expected, Veronica's phone rang.

Mathew : Why did you have to do that?

Me : Did you have to use my name.

Veronica was looking down since she was caught red handed. As if she was looking for an excuse .

Veron : It was a prank. I'm sorry Niya and Mathew.

Mathew : (sigh) I thought I had you. I'm sorry for this misunderstanding and spoiling your name.

Me : It's ok. Chill ok? Veronica, next time please think before you do something.

Veronica : I'm sorry.

Me : It's ok.. don't worry. Not a big issue. Just forget it (hug her) Anyways bye guys. I have class.

Ring

Time to go back home! We would all wait for all of our friends from different classes and walk back together. Snow was still upset while walking with us. I wanted to make her laugh. I pushed Hacks and she fell down, AGAIN! Finally, Snow had a smile on her face!

"Snow, don't bother what other people say about you! It's your life and just do whatever the hell you wanna do with it! Don't be upset because of some stupid comments!"

Snow smiled.

I went back home, threw my backpack in the corner of my room and laid on my bed. The only thing I wanted now was a warm hug from Kelvin. But, I can't do anything can I? I called him.

Him : Heyy Angel! How's school?

Me : Miss you

Him : I don't miss you at all!

Me : Whuut?

Him : Because I never stop thinking about you. And I have your teddy with your smell!

Me : (smile) Yeah

Him : Wish I was there. So I can hug you!

Me : But you can't.

Him : I'm hugging my pillow. I'm imagining it's you.

Me : You!

Him : haha. You know? Snow called me.

Me : Oh really? What did she say?

Him : She said that your not concentrating in class. She said you really miss me.

Me : I really do!

Him : You better concentrate!

Me : Fine!

We talked and talked and time flew by. We'd been talking for like, an hour!

Him : (yawn) Love you beautiful!

Me : Haha. Love you Mr.Smart!

I ended the call. Should I tell him about the problem in school? I didn't know.. 

So is Veronica a good friend  or a bad one? We'll find out in the next Chappy! Muah Muah
