Jimin would have thought that Jungkook would have been in a depressing mood the next day, but to his surprise, the younger seemed to be managing his emotions quite well.

"I went a little too rough on you yesterday," whispered Jungkook, not wanting his classmates to hear.

They were currently in dance class and Jungkook was watching as Jimin struggled to warm up.

"Well, considering that I can barely keep my legs open due to the sharp pain I feel, I might say that yes, you have," whispered back Jimin.

"Sorry," Jungkook said as he rubbed the back of his neck.

"You already apologized. Besides, ifs fine, I was just helping you," smiled Jimin. "Which by the way, it did seem like it worked because you're clearly not crying like yesterday."

"In case I see Taehyung, I don't want him to know how much pain he caused me since he never bothered to care for my feelings when he cheated on me and yes I know I cheated as well, but it was just a kiss, I don't like you like that, Jimin. And Taehyung was having sex with someone else because to him sex is all that matters in a relationship."

Jimin sighed. "I know he's my best friend, but he shouldn't have done that to you, Jungkook. You deserve someone who does truly love you. I love you and even if you don't feel the same way, I will still treat you kindly."

Jungkook smiled. "I'm glad to have a friend like you, Jimin."

Jimin smiled as well. If only you knew I wasn't your friend. 

"I don't think we'll able to practice after school today," said Jungkook as he continued to watch Jimin attempt to stretch and again and feeling that sharp pain in his ass. "I should have been more careful."

"Hey, hopefully by the day after tomorrow, I'll be able to dance," said Jimin. "Today you can just go home and take care of yourself."

"Take care of myself?" Jungkook asked confused.

"Jungkook, Taehyung literally broke up with up yesterday and I know you really loved him, so take time off for yourself. Don't stress and make sure that your mental health is okay. A breakup doesn't mix well with stress and upcoming finals," said Jimin.

Jimin was really good at pretending to be concerned for Jungkook. All those nice words and advice he gives to Jungkook are all just words without meaning to him. He only cares about Taehyung, but now that he has Taehyung, he wants to keep messing with Jungkook more and try to break him more than he already is.

"You're right and I know I said this already, but I'm really glad to have a friend like you, Jimin," smiled Jungkook.

Jimin wanted to roll his eyes. Just give me my Oscar already.

By the time lunchtime came, Jungkook hadn't seen Taehyung at all. He was glad because he'd been doing well holding back his tears and he didn't want to suddenly start crying after seeing Taehyung.

Jimin took his usual seat across from Yoongi while Jungkook sat beside Yoongi.

Seokjin raised an eyebrow, confused. "Where's Taehyung?"

Jungkook's eyes stared at his food as he replied, "He broke up with me on our date."

"What?!" Seokjin shouted causing the other students to turn their heads at them.

"He broke up with me on our date," Jungkook repeated as he took his spoon and began picking at his food, taking small bites.

"I was just beginning to like him and now you're telling me that he broke up with you?!"

"Hyung, please keep it down," Jungkook pleaded as he raised his head and noticed the other students around them looking at them.

Seokjin sighed, not wanting to attract any more attention than he already did. "Sorry, Jungkook."

Jungkook nodded and beside Seokjin, Hoseok spoke up. "Why did Taehyung break up with you?"

"Taehyung said he didn't love me anymore. He cheated on me with someone else because I wouldn't have sex with him often and told he me that he loves them because they did satisfy his sexual needs and I wouldn't," explained Jungkook as he took another small bite of his food.

"Relationships aren't just about sex," said Yoongi.

"I know, that's what I told him and that's why I didn't want to have sex with him often. That's not love," said Jungkook, his lips turning into a pout as tears began to form in his eyes.

Jimin immediately stood up and went to sit on the other side of Jungkook. He wrapped his arms around the younger and let his head rest against his chest. "Hey, Jungkook was doing good today and now you guys made him cry again."

Seokjin, Hoseok, and Yoongi all exchanged apologetic expressions as they stayed quiet and let Jungkook cry against Jimin's chest.

Jimin held him close and let the younger on him until Seokjin spoke up again. "Hey Jungkook," he softly called out. "Did Taehyung ever say who he cheated on you with?"

Jungkook shook his head before raising his head off Jimin's shoulder to speak again. "I also cheated on Taehyung, but it was just a caught up in the moment kiss. I still loved Taehyung, but when I told him, he didn't care."

Jimin honestly didn't care what Jungkook said about their kiss. He didn't even love the younger like he said he did. It was all just pretend.

"Both of you cheated on the other, but what Taehyung did was worse," said Seokjin.

"It's okay, Kook," said Hoseok. "Taehyung didn't deserve you."

"What kind of person breaks up with their partner on a date," said Yoongi.

"The shitty kind of boyfriend," said Jimin while everyone else agreed, except for Jungkook.

Despite Taehyung being such a terrible boyfriend, Jungkook still loves him.

Jungkook couldn't concentrate very well after telling his friends about Taehyung, so he was glad that he finally got his last class of the day over with.

He found himself walking to the ice parlor that Jimin introduced him to and ordered a chocolate ice cream. He sat alone on of the chairs outside and ate his ice cream as he watched the cars pass by through glossy eyes.

"Do you always come here when you're sad?"

Jungkook turned to face the voice who spoke and blinked a few times before he could clearly see Namjoon, the guy he had spoken to the last time he came here, smiling softly at him.

He watched as Namjoon sat across Jungkook and spoke, "What's bothering you today, Jungkook?"

"My boyfriend broke up with me and on our date," said Jungkook. "He cheated on me and said that he did it because I wouldn't have sex him often, so he found someone else to satisfy his sexual needs. He doesn't love me anymore."

"That's some shitty boyfriend," Namjoon commented. "I usually don't pick sides when people talk about their problems, but relationships shouldn't just be about sex. Your boyfriend is messed up if he thinks satisfying his needs is more important than loving your partner."

"I cheated on him too."

"Oh?" Namjoon was taken back, not expecting that.

"It was just a kiss. It was a caught up in the moment kiss. My boyfriend didn't even care because as I said, he had cheated on me too and he didn't love me anymore. I even had sex with his best friend who also happens to be my friend to try to forget about him."

"People do things to forget about the pain they're feeling," Namjoon spoke softly. "If it helps you forget about your now ex-boyfriend, then that's great, but in order to move on, you must feel the pain."

Jungkook ate some out of his ice cream as he watched Namjoon stand up. "I hope to see you happy the next time I see you here," said Namjoon before giving Jungkook a small smile and waving goodbye.

Jungkook waved goodbye as he watched Namjoon walk away. He pondered over what Namjoon said as he sat alone, eating his ice cream with a broken heart, watching the cars drive by, and wondering if love really did exist.
