I used to not have a lot of motivation while writing this book mainly because I would update once every blue moon, but now that I'm constantly updating, I'm so obsessed with this book and reading your guys' comments makes me happy too even though most of them are insulting Tae and Jimin 💀

Jungkook was sitting in a booth across from Taehyung at a cafe. They were on their date or at least that's what Jungkook thought.

They ordered their food and ate together as Jungkook talked about how happy he was to be on another date.

Taehyung smiled as he let his boyfriend speak. It wasn't a real smile, it was more of a forced smile, but the younger didn't seem to notice.

As they ate, Jungkook didn't seem to notice the food on the side of his mouth that he missed while wiping his mouth, but Taehyung did, so he sat up and leaned forward in his seat and wiped it off with his thumb.

Jungkook had momentarily paused as he watched Taehyung. Their faces were also very close and the younger couldn't help, but glance down at his boyfriend's lips. Taehyung knew where Jungkook was looking at, so he decided to tease the younger.

He reached out and cupped Jungkook's cheek with one hand while bringing his lips closer. Jungkook closed his eyes as Taehyung's lips were almost touching his. He waited for Taehyung to kiss him, but instead, he felt the older removing his hand off of him and he no longer felt Taehyung's breath on him.

Jungkook opened his eyes and found Taehyung with a straight face and his hands placed on the table.

"What's wrong?" Asked Jungkook. "Is it the cafe? Do you not like it or the food? I thought you picked it out for our date, but if you don't, we can always go somewhere else."

"Jungkook, I am doing just fine, really, you, on the other hand, won't be," said Taehyung as he held a neutral expression as he stared at Jungkook.

"What are you talking about? Why wouldn't I be fine? I'm on a date with you," smiled the younger and he reached out to place his hand over Taehyung's.

Taehyung glared at the younger before pulling his hand away and placed it in his lap as well as his other hand.

Jungkook frowned but shrugged it off. "Okay? I don't know what that was about but why did you suddenly pull away when we almost kissed? We're on a date and-"

"This isn't a date," Taehyung quickly said.

"What? What are you talking abou-"

"I said this ain't a date," repeated Taehyung.

"Then what are we doing here?" Asked Jungkook, confused. "Are we going somewhere else for our date?"

Taehyung shook his head. He stared into Jungkook's big and confused eyes before speaking, "You might have noticed a change in my behavior. It's not you, it's me, well actually it's also you."

"What are you saying?" Jungkook didn't know what Taehyung meant other than the change in behavior. He had noticed it.

Taehyung let out a humorless laugh before bringing his hand up from his lap and took another bite from his food.

"Is this part of the date?"

Taehyung shook his head. "This isn't a date. I'm breaking up with you."

The sparkle that Jungkook always held in his eyes seemed to have died out as he stared at Taehyung in shock. "Wh-What?"

"I'm breaking up with you. As I said, it's not just me, it's also you," said Taehyung as he watched Jungkook's pained expression. "I loved you, I really did, but you weren't enough. You didn't always want to have sex when I wanted to, so I had to find someone else who would satisfy my sexual needs."

"Relationships don't have to be about sex though," Jungkook quietly spoke. "If you really loved me, you would have respected my choices and not cheated on me just because I wouldn't have sex with you."

Taehyung smiled a fake smile, not really caring that he hurt Jungkook's feelings. "Don't look too sad, although we did have sex a few times it wasn't always that bad, but of course the other person who helped me with my sexual needs was better. He even told me that he loves me and I love him."

"You don't love me anymore?" Jungkook felt his eyes pricking his tears but tried his best to hold them back. He refused to cry in front of Taehyung, the man who didn't deserve to see his tears since he was the one who caused them.

"No, I don't. Why do you think I stopped saying it? I love someone else, someone who does satisfy my sexual needs," said Taehyung as he watched a tear roll down the younger's cheek.

Jungkook quickly wiped his tear away while looking at Taehyung through glossy eyes. "Since you cheated on me, I'd like to get something off my chest as well."

"You cheated on me too?" Taehyung let out another humorless laugh as he couldn't believe it, but didn't care.

"It wasn't intentional, it just happened. This guy kissed me and I was just so caught up in the moment that I kissed him back. Once I realized my mistake, I quickly pulled away. He tried kissing me again, but I didn't let him," explained Jungkook.

Taehyung shrugged. "I hope he was a better kisser than me because the guy I cheated on you with sure is good in bed."

Taehyung stood up and grabbed his backpack before turning to leave. "Goodbye Jungkook," he said as he was about to walk away, but before he could, Jungkook stopped him by grabbing onto his wrist.

Taehyung looked back at Jungkook with an annoyed expression. "What?"

"Taehyung, I love you."

Taehyung rolled his eyes and pulled his arm away from Jungkook's hold. "I don't," he said before pulling his arm away from the younger's hold and walked out of the cafe.

Jungkook watched with glossy eyes as his now ex-boyfriend that didn't love him, not turn back once. His back faced Jungkook and the younger watched him until he was out of sight before getting up from his seat. He grabbed his backpack and quickly walked out of the cafe. He let the tears fall that he'd been holding back and cried on his way home.
