The New Year's Eve party at Jungkook's house started at 8 PM. Everyone had already arrived around that time and was currently sitting down, eating a meal together that Jungkook had cooked.

"Jungkook, this tastes great. I didn't know you could cook," said Seokjin.

Jungkook shrugged. "I didn't either."

Jimin chuckled. "You must be good at many things, you just don't know it."

The group of friends shared more laughs and conversations as they ate. When they were done, everyone sat together in Jungkook's living room.

Because Jungkook only had one couch, not everyone could fit. Jungkook ended up pulling up a chair since it was his house and Jimin ended up sitting on his lap. Everyone else sat together, feeling crammed on the couch.

"What is one thing that you guys can't wait to leave behind in 2020?" Yoongi asked.

While everyone answered bad habits that they wanted to get rid of, Jungkook had a different response.

"I plan to leave behind my old self. Ever since I met Jimin, I began to become a different person."

Jimin smiled as he turned to face his boyfriend and pressed a kiss to his boyfriend's lips.

"Okay, now what is one thing that you hope to bring into 2021?" Yoongi asked.

"A love life," Namjoon quickly replied. "I feel so single with you guys even though you're single as well, Yoongi."

"You know, you can easily solve that problem by dating Yoongi," said Hoseok.

Yoongi and Namjoon exchanged horrified glances. "That will never happen," they said in sync.

"We're just friends," Namjoon added.

"Anyway, back to my question," said Yoongi. "What I hope to bring into 2021 is if I have feelings for someone, I hope they feel the same way. I was kinda sad this year when I found out that someone I had feelings for, had feelings for someone else."

"Who broke Yoongi's heart?" Seokjin asked. "Whoever it is, I hope they regret it."

Yoongi let out a chuckled laugh. "It's okay, Seokjin. They're dating someone else and they're happy, so if they're happy then I'm happy too."

"That's really sweet. Who is it?" Jimin asked.

"Uh..." Yoongi didn't know what to say as he stared at Jimin. There was no way he was about to reveal that he has some feelings for him while currently sitting on Jungkook's lap.

"Maybe it's Yoongi doesn't want to share that part," said Namjoon.

Yoongi quickly nodded as he looked away from Jimin. "Yeah, I'm not ready to tell you guys yet."

"Okay, sorry for asking," Jimin apologized.

Yoongi stole a glance at Jimin and Jungkook's arms that were currently wrapped around his waist before looking away again.

"Okay, I'll go next," Hoseok said. "You know what I hope to bring into 2021?"

"What?" Seokjin asked as he fondly looked at his boyfriend.

"Another happy year of dating you."

Seokjin smiled wide as he wrapped his send around his boyfriend and pulled him close for a kiss.

"I want that for Jungkook and me," said Jimin before pulling his boyfriend in a kiss.

"This is why I feel so single," said Namjoon as he sat in between both couples.

After everyone else shared what they hope to bring into 2021, Yoongi asked, "What about New Year's resolutions?"

"I always say what I want to do in 2021, but never actually do it," said Seokjin.

Everyone agreed as they shared previous New Year's resolutions and laughed at how they never actually completed them.

Taehyung sat alone yet again. He was bored out of his mind and he felt like he was going to go insane if he'd stared at his four blank white walls like he did every day when he didn't know what to do.

Because he had been trapped in his apartment, with nothing to do and no one to hang out with, Taehyung started to feel sick. Jungkook's visit the day before had helped him to distract himself, but as soon as Jungkook left, he went back to feeling sick.

He desperately wanted to leave his apartment, but he had nowhere to go. He didn't have friends or a boyfriend or a family to go to. Taehyung was alone.

Running his hands through his hair and tugging at it in frustration, Taehyung drifted his mind back to a memory of Jungkook.

"No matter what happens, no matter where I'm at, you can always come to me," Jungkook said. "Always."

"Even if we break up?" Taehyung asked through tears.

Jungkook nodded. "Even if we break up, even if we haven't spoken to each other in a while and even if I'm dating someone else, you can always come to me, no matter the situation, so never forget that."

Taehyung sighed as he stood up, letting his hands fall from his head. "Jungkook went out of his way to visit me on Christmas Eve and on my birthday yesterday, so surely he won't mind if I visit him now, right?" He asked himself.

Taehyung went to his room where he rummaged through his closet to find his jacket and. He hadn't gone out at all either ever since winter break started, so he hadn't worn his jacket, until now.

After Taehyung had found his jacket and put it on, he made sure his front door was locked before he left. Once he set foot outside, he noticed the snow on the ground and the snow that was still falling.

A smile found it's way onto Taehyung's lips as he remembered another memory he shared with Jungkook.

"Don't run or you'll fall," Jungkook warned.

Taehyung hadn't listened and instead kept running down the icy and snowy sidewalk as he ran up to Jungkook. Just before he reached him, he slipped and fell right in front of Jungkook's feet.

Taehyung groaned as he laid on the cold sidewalk while Jungkook stared at him from above. "I know you're always happy to see me, but I told you not to run," Jungkook scolded as he held a hand out for Taehyung to take.

Jungkook helped Taehyung stand again and when he did, Taehyung was giving him a huge grin.

"What are you grinning for?" As soon as Jungkook finished asking his question a snowball found a way up to his face.

Jungkook wiped away the snow from his face before bending down to grab a handful of snow and throw it back at Taehyung.

Taehyung laughed before throwing another snowball back. Soon, the couple found themselves laughing together while throwing snowballs at each other.

"I miss those times," said Taehyung as he snapped out of the memory and walked to Jungkook's house in the snow.

Upon arriving, he lifted his fist to knock on the door but then hesitated. "Wait, what if his boyfriend is there? But didn't Jungkook mention that his boyfriend knew about me when he came to visit me yesterday? Surely, Jungkook's boyfriend wouldn't mind if I stayed a little, right?"

After standing at the door for a long time with his arm lifted out, it began to feel tired, so before Taehyung could regret what he was about to do, he knocked on the door.

He waited patiently for the door to open and when it did, he found Jungkook's surprised face staring back at him.

"Taehyung?"
