The pillars didn't go to a restaurant like (y/n) hopped, but they did however have food in their meeting place.

"So what do you propose we do gyomei-san?"

Asked (y/n). They were all sitting in a circle. With (y/n) sitting next to giyuu and obanai.

"Let's have a large training session. With not only us, but also the lower rank hunters. It will be beneficial for us all."

"Do we not only train our tsugokus. Won't it be a waste of time."

"Obanai is right, gyomei. What would we even improve on?"

Said sanemi, who at this point was a lot calmer.

"Wait hold on guys. Like gyomei-san said, there are benefits to training a lot of people at once."

Said (y/n) trying to sway the opinion of the two other pillars. With the girls also agreeing with her.

"(L/n)-san is right, if we train multiple hunters at the same time. All different skill level, we will definitely improve, and so will the demon hunters. Plus it is better than training with one person."

Said muichirio, agreeing with gyomei and (y/n).

"Tch fine. How would we even do it."

"We would all have different sections to train them on. Which would play to our strengths, in turn improving them."

And that's just what they did. A special training session began. It was called 'pillar training.' those who ranked lower than pillars were trained. Usually the pillars are too busy to train anyone but their tsugoku. They had many things to do, like protect their regions, gathering information on demons, and improving their swordsmanship. But since nezuko conquered the sun, the demons suddenly stopped appearing.

It was like the calm before the storm, and because of that the pillars only had to focus on night patrol and day training.

"SLOW, SLOW, SLOW, SLOW! WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU PEOPLE DOING I GOT NO CLUE, YOUR STAMINA IS LOW AS HELL!"

Yelled the former sound pillar. He was here for the first section in the training. Via basic stamina training. After that they would move onto hellish flexibility training with mitsuri. And muichirio deals with quick movement training.

Then the snake pillar focuses on sword skill revision. The wind pillar handles the infinite pounding training. And the rock pillar trains muscle reinforcement. Lastly the wisteria pillar dedicated her time to stance and more stamina training.

To motivate the demon hunters, the pillars said 'those who already have the mark will train so they can continuously stay in the marked state.' everyone but one man was motivated

"Excuse Meeeeee tomioka-saaan. Heeeey! Hello? Giyuu-saaan it's me! Kamado tanjirou. Heeeey. 'kay going in."

Kamado asked him to train with him, yet he said no. Saying he wasn't the water pillar. This discouraged tanjirou just a little, but not enough to go against oyakata-samas request.

So he kept persisting him, asking him to come out of his shell. It wasn't working, nothing was working. Yet then he remembered what sabito told him.

"G-giyuu-san? .... G-giyuu-san.... Isn't whatever sabito entrusted to you keep you two together."

He's right. Sabito slapped me, I remember that day.

"Don't say that you'd be better off dying, ever again. If you do, you and I are done! We'll stop being friends."

I've never heard sabito sound so harsh, his tone was kind yet cold at the same time.... Does he really hate me?

"You're sister was supposed to get married the next day. And despite knowing that, she saved you from the demons. You have nobody else? That's an insult to your sister! You can't die ever! That life she lost to protect you? That future she left for you? They're still with you, giyuu!"

Giyuu touched his face, he clearly remembered the impact and pain of getting slapped. How could he forget it?

whenever I did remember I got so sad I couldn't do anything, i didn't want to remember. My tears just wouldn't stop..... tsutako nee-san, sabito.... Sorry for being immature.

Oh no did I say something mean? Giyuu-sN was already sulking a whole lot. Did I accidentally give the final blow.... Crap he's not even twitching. I know. We should have a speed eating contest! Maybe if he wins he'll feel better and start training again, maybe? I mean I still don't have permission to train, so I cant partner up with him

Giyuu-san's a shy guy but we don't need to talk if we're eating, it's perfect! And I still have the gift for giyuu from (y/n)-chan!

"Tanjirou. Sorry for the delay, but I'll go train as wel-"

"Giyuu-san, want to have a cold soba eating contest with me? Also I have something for you."

The soba eating contest was going good, though tanjirou lost they still had fun.

"Oh I just remembered, here it's from (y/n)-chan!"

Tanjirou gave giyuu a nice red charm with the kanji 'happiness' on it. It was simple but it made him tremble a bit. This was the first gift he's gotten in a while.

Giyuu was not fully committed to joining the pillar training.

"(Y/n)-chan!!!! Come get ice cream with obanai and I!"

Mitsuri yelled, grabbing onto my arm. Obanai gave me a bit of a death glare, but it softened a bit when he saw how happy mitsuri was.

"Uh maybe, depends if obanai is okay with it."

Mitsuri looked over to obanai with a pleading look, she looked like an adorable puppy, how could obanai say no to her! I could see that he didn't really like the plan but he sighed and nodded anyway.

"Whooooohooooo let's go!!"

Misturi grabbed onto mine and obanai's wrist, dragging us along with her.

We eventually got there, luckily the place didn't close. There were tons flavours, from vanilla all the way to blood orange with chocolate chips!

"Whaaaaaa!!! You guys ran out of my favorite!"

Misturi whined, pointing to the vacant spot. I gave her a pat on the back.

"Well can I have three scoops of (f/f) ice cream please. In a cone as well! What about you two?"

"I'll get strawberry, five scoops please!"

"I'll also get strawberry, one scoop."

Now who was going to pay.

"I'll pay."
"I'll pay!"

Obanai and I said it at the same time

i know he just wants to pay for misturi, so why is he offering to pay for me as well?

"Obanai-san, how about we half it, it would only be fair."

"Fine."

You know, Obanai is being a lot nicer to me now. I wonder why.....

The three of us sat down to enjoy our ice cream, I sat by myself, while obanai and mitsuri sat on one side.

God I should of brought shinobu or literally anyone else! I feel like I'm third wheeling way too much. Its just awkward.

"Today's training was so fun!"

Misturi exclaimed.

"Yeah you're right! Though the people here have such weak stances and stamina!"

"Ha! It seemed as if half the people knew nothing about sword skills, it was utter agony."

Obanai spoke with an annoyed tone and face, for once that wasn't directed at me.

"Ahhhh look at the time, we almost have night patrol! I have to go west, you two go east right?"

Ah she just had to remind us, you kill me sometimes mitsuri.

"Well off you two go! Your regions are pretty far."

Misturi waved the two of us goodbye, the walk was really awkward. I could feel him stare at me from time to time, It was making me sweat.

"Obanai, is something wrong?"

"(L/n)-san, be friends with me."
