A YEAR LATER

A lady with A Big tummy is seen descending the stairs carefully with the help of a man who has held her hand with his one hand placed around her waist to give her support . Both looked like a happily married couple who are expecting. The man was dressed in a kurta of baby pink colour with a jacket of indigo colour. The colour of his dhoti matched the colour of his jacket. The lion broach on his jacket added to his perfect Greek-god-like attire. The lady was dressed in a lehenga of baby pink and indigo combination with shiny hangings on her ear. Her pregnancy glow with a little of makeup added to her beauty. The moon bracelet was hanging from her wrist. Both of them reached the end of the stairs and the lady was hugged bye an elderly lady who was revealed to her mother in law, pinky.

Pinky: oh my Mamta, aneeka!! U r lookings very beautifuls haan. Did my son complement your beauty?
Anika : ask from your son only, pinky aun..... I mean, mom.

Pinky with tears eyes hugged Anika .

Pinky: Mujhe pata Nahi Anika, ki agar aaj tum yahan Nahi hoti to mujhe saare parivaar se , khaskar Shivaay se Maafi mil paati ya Nahi. (Can't find the English of this, sorry :p)
Anika: mom, don't say like this, u were already forgiven on the day when u accepted me despite the fact that I wasn't pregnant but was drugged bye ragini, so that I would be insulted for an illegitimate child and would be thrown out of the house, all I did was bringing out that forgiveness from everyone for u.
Pinky: but u also gave me real happiness just within three months of being really pregnant.

They were then interrupted by a cough, or....., to be more precise, fake cough, which was from the man. Both the ladies turned their head towards him.

Pinky: what happeneds Shivaay?

Shivaay: then, what about the physical work , which I did while preparing these twins in your uterus.
Anika: hmph. And the pain of your 'oh so hard physical work' that I endured.
Shivaay: but u enjoyed it.
Anika: you too did.
Shivaay: but I still contributed more.
Anika: no.... Me.
Shivaay: me
Anika: me...
Shivaay: I said, me.

Both stood infront of each other, still fighting like loggerheads. While, the family stood watching their bold fight with their jaws hanging. Pinky, at the moment, got some sense and shouted"ENOUGH". Both stopped fighting and turned their heads towards pinky, where the other family members also stood.

Pinky: come on both of you, you're going to be parents, and if you both keep fightings like this, then God knows what will happens to my grandson and granddaughter.

Both made puppy faces.

Dadi: all right! All right! Now let's start the god bharayi (गोद भराई) the muhrat is going.

All nodded and started the function. Shivika sat in the middle receiving gifts and blessings from all. The function was kept a private business as they did not want any issues or problems to happen on this gracious day. The function of God bharayi ended. Shivika stood up with intertwined hands, smiling.

Jhanvi: God bharayi is over. Now tell us the names of your soon coming children, which you have decided.

Shivika looked at each other and smiled.

Anika: for our prince, the name we have chosen is Anay, Anay Singh Oberoi.
Shivaay: and for our princess, her name would be Shika, Shika Singh Oberoi.

All the members clapped.

Rudra: see dadi, some time ago, they were fighting like logger heads, and now, their lovely romantic eyelock only is not getting over. I guess their upcoming children will absolutely add on to their life.

This was heard by Shivika.

Shivaay: correction rudy, they will add on to our LOVED LIFE.

Saying this he again got drowned in an eyelock with his 9 months pregnant wifey.
