Friend Or Foe?

     "Milady, a storm awaits us!" A servant exclaimed worriedly. "Do not fear what does not kill, it will surely pass." You told the panicking woman as you looked at the clouded sky. This was not a normal storm, trouble was coming, and soon.

     You appeared thoughtful for a moment until you broke the silence. "The god of eclipses is coming, she is obscure and I'm assuming she wants to finally stop being at the bottom. Therefore, she's taking a drastic measure to be at the top." You told Kuro, Yuri, and the panicking woman.

     "How can you be so calm about this?" Yuri asked, curious to know your answer. "I am calm because she is not a threat. At least, I don't believe so." You answered still looking at the moving clouds. "She is arriving, treat her as a...guest." You ordered the now calm woman.

     "Yuri, go tell the goddess to wait for me. Kuro, protect the house and put a barrier around it." You told both of your retainers. They immediately went to do as told. You sighed, you still weren't used to giving orders. You quickly put on an elegant modern dress and rushed to greet your 'guest'.

"I demand to see the god of destruction! I demand to see (y/n)!" You heard a voice yell. "She's coming! Just wait a second!" You could hear Yuri yelling, you walked even quicker. "You wished to see me?" You asked while walking gracefully into the room.

     "I am Sutekina, the goddess of eclipses." Sutekina said lightly bowing. "Welcome to my home, make yourself comfortable." You told Sutekina while returning the bow.

     You and Sutekina walked to your study. "Why did you wish to see me?" You asked sitting in a comfortable chair. "I wanted to meet you." Sutekina said simply.

     You gawked at her and she lightly chuckled. "Just because my attire is black and red doesn't mean I'm looking for trouble." She told you lightly patting your shoulder. You didn't know why but you felt relaxed around her.

     "I was ecstatic when my retainer told me you had finally appeared. You see, I was an old friend of Namaikina's but we rarely saw each other. I hope we become good friends." She said smiling warmly, you smiled back.

You and Sutekina walked to the gardens and talked for hours, laughing here and there. You gasped when you felt a sharp weapon enter your shoulder. "Die!" The woman who stabbed you yelled. She took the dagger out and you collapsed. Before you lost consciousness, you heard Yuri yell. "No!"
