     "Another 50 cartwheels to go, you can do it!" Kuro yelled as you completed one more. You were not in a good mood. You were hungry, sweaty, sleepy, and exhausted.

"Can't I take a break and finish later?" You asked with an annoyed tone while doing another cartwheel. "No!" Kuro shouted. "In order for me to properly train you, I must be strict." She said while cartwheeling herself.

"Try to do it gracefully. While you are attacking, you also want to amaze. Remember that." Kuro said before jumping on a tree.

"Finished!" You said while doing your last cartwheel. "Nice!" Kuro said giving you a high five. "What's next?" You asked stretching your arms. "We have to run 10 miles around our home." Kuro said, determination glistened in her black eyes.

"Oh! Before I forget, I have to give you your battle uniform." Kuro told you while pulling out a black box with a golden ribbon on top. "Open it." Kuro tossed it to you. You caught it and opened it. "Wow." You smiled. "Thank you!" You shouted taking it out.

"You're welcome." Kuro said smiling warmly. "Now that I have given you your uniform I should give you your weapons too." Kuro added thoughtfully before taking out another box that looked exactly like the one you just opened, it was bigger.

"Open this one too." Kuro tossed the box to you. You quickly put your uniform in the box and catches the other one. You opened it.

"I can't thank you enough." You said as you took out the double daggers and sword. "One again, you're welcome." Kuro said while nodding. "Let's go into your bedroom so you can put everything on." Kuro instructed as she beckoned you forward. You and Kuro weren't that far from home.

You both arrived and walked to your bedroom. When you dressed in your outfit, Kuro told you how to hide the daggers. She gave you a sheath to put around your waist. You put your new sword on its sheath and looked at yourself in the mirror. You looked like royalty or something, it made you happy.

Weeks and weeks passed, your clothes became more comfortable and you mastered your weapons. You were prepared for battle. You trained with Kuro and both of you fought long and hard until you finally bested her.

Your training was complete. You kept beating her in duals and stood up with your chin held high. You nor Kuro knew that soon, very soon, your first opponent would appear...
