The autumn breeze seemed like it was piercing the skin of the girl with the hazel eyes, even though the strands of her sweater were covering her body. Her hands seemed to be clenched into fists as her pink lips blew her palms, trying to find warmth because of the cold air tonight.

But after that, her hands were placed on the wooden table where she took a seat. Her fingers began tapping it alternately while her other hand was holding a glass of wine which she was about to drink. Apparently, solitude can cause boredom and loneliness in this noisy atmosphere.

Meredith Sarah Isabelle, a girl with brown hair, was attending the high school reunion party. The reunion concept itself took the Barbeque theme. Most of the people who came were definitely Sarah's classmates when she was in high school.

Her beautiful hazel eyes now were focused on the crowd of people who seemed to be having fun, dancing with their partners or some of them were dancing alone while being drunk. Sarah looked for her best friend from high school, but sadly, she couldn't find one.

And it wasn't her friends who she was waiting for who came, but the figure of a guy with the black hair from a distance seemed to be approaching her. Sarah squinted her eyes, trying to scan every inch of the figure. And how surprised she was when she finally found out who the guy was.

Ray Frederick, apparently, was a guy who was trying to get closer to her. When he arrived, he put a sweet smile on his face, trying to attract her.

"Hey, Sarah." Ray took a seat across from Sarah. "Long time no see."

"Oh, hey." Sarah faked a cheerful tone in her voice. "Nice to meet you again, Ray."

"Same thing with me. Nice to see you again."

Sarah sighed. "Apparently you wanna take part in an event like this. I thought you wouldn't come."

Ray smirked. "You know, I'm the type of person who didn't like doing such unimportant things."

Sarah laughed sarcastically. "So you mean this event is something very important for Ray Frederick??"

Ray clenched his fists but she didn't notice. "You know, we've been through so much together."

"Perhaps not anymore." Sarah gave him a cynical look. "So, what do you really want?"

Ray shot an ice cold glare at her. Maybe it could be said that he's bothered by her cynical remarks. "What I want right now is of course none of your business, Miss Isabelle." He smirked.

Sarah was seen taking a deep breath. "Okay, Mr. Frederick. Sorry for asking you too many questions."

She was about to walk away, but he swiftly grabbed her arm. "Well, I know.. if you still wanna spend a little time with me.. maybe having some coffee?"
