Not All Wishes Come True (Noch nicht vollständig)

Watching someone get brutally murdered in front of her own eyes was not something Asha thought she would ever experience, or at least the memory of her father's own death was still kind of hazy to her. Seeing Queen Amaya who she had always admired, and looked up to die in front of her like this made Asha's heart skip a beat in fear, and made her feel cold all over. The worst thing was she was only a mere human dealing with two entities that were inhuman. Who were much stronger than the average human in their magical abilities. She knew they were both more powerful than her, and Magnifico even with all of his natural magical talent. Star, and this thing...that was smirking at her sadistically clearly enjoying the look of anguish that crossed her face.

Asha had Magnifico's mirror cradled in her arms, near her heart. She had turned his mirror backwards so he didn't have to witness the horrible sight she was currently witnessing, his wife's brutal death. She felt herself shiver. Amaya did not deserve to die like this. She was a kind woman, someone who had once told Asha before her interview that generosity was the true essence of Rosas. Asha had heard Amaya choke out her last word with a mouth full of blood. It was said so quietly, so weakly that Asha's ears had barley been able to catch it. At first Asha had thought Amaya's last word had been Mi Rey, Magnifico's former royal title his wife always referred to him as. Asha choked back a sob. Amaya was crying out to make sure her husband was safe, not her own self. Even till her last breath Amaya was the kind, and caring queen she had always been. Worrying about the safety of others above herself. However upon thinking it over Asha slowly put together the pieces that Amaya's last word was not what she thought it was. Amaya had said his real name. It sounded very similar to what Amaya had always called her husband Mi Rey. Amaya had called him Miren. Miren that was his real name...Miren. Asha had always figured that Magnifico was just a stage name he had come up with at some point to boost up his own ego, and glamorize his power to grant wishes. Who would name their kid Magnifico anyways? Amaya had wanted her husband Miren before she died, not the monster he had become over the years as Magnifico. Asha slowly came to realize that Miren was who she had talked to in the dungeon, who had joked with her. Somehow she knew that Magnifico was a very different person than Miren. Magnifico was the smug king she had overthrown due to his own selfishness. Miren was the shy, vulnerable man Amaya had fell in love with, and begged Asha to save. Magnifico is who Miren had become to protect Miren from everyone else, even with his wife's unconditional love for him.

Asha held Miren close to her, protecting him, from whatever this thing was. Now with his wife gone, Asha was all he had left. Even if everyone else in the kingdom hated him. She would be dammed if she let this evil thing hurt him again.

Asha darted over quickly to the dresser she had placed her wand on, glaring at the creature that had just killed her friend. The friend that Star had just let die. Her hand grasped her wand tightly, as she pointed it at the demon in a threating manner, Miren's mirror grasped tightly against her chest in the other. She knew she should have taken it with her when she went to retrieve Magnifico for her own protection, but there were far worse things in this castle than him. The creature made a creepy chittering noise, and laughed deeply in Magnifico's voice, observing her, and her desperate actions in twisted amusement.

It slowly got off of on top of Amaya's body, and lurked toward her in a bizarre fashion. The way this thing walked seemed unnatural, and painful. It it was human it would surely be breaking it's legs by how disjointed it was in it's movements. Asha felt fear grip her, despite her bold stance against it. The air got colder as it made it's way over to her, and Magnifico. She looked over in horror to see that it had turned Amaya's head towards her, so she could see the former queen's lifeless eyes, the blood on her lips. Amaya had cried as she died, her death had been painful. Asha felt sick. She pointed her wand directly at the creature's chest a it approached her. She watched in horror as the get well flowers Sakina had given to Asha for Amaya, in a vase on the dresser her wand had been on, started to wilt before shriveling up. That thing had just killed all of them! A crack ran down the vase as the creature shattered it with telekinesis, causing water to spill everywhere. Her mama, and her had made that vase for the queen by hand. It had taken a lot of work. Asha had painted some of Amaya's favorite things on it with the artistic talent she used to draw with. The vase had Amaya's favorite flowers on it, and a ballerina. Amaya had always loved ballet. Asha felt enraged.

''Don't you dare come any closer!'' she shouted at the monster. It laughed at her cruelly using Magnifico's voice, reaching out a clawed hand towards the mirror Asha was so protective of. ''Stay away from him!'' Release you're hold on him! Now!'' she demanded angrily. She was face to face with the demon as it looked down at her mockingly. ''Oh please. As if a stupid girl like you could ever be considered any real threat to me you foolish child.'' The way it used Magnifico's voice with a distorted edge to it made her skin crawl. It laughed darkly as it telekinetically flung her wand out of her hand with ease. It bounced against the side of the wall, and landed on the ground with a clunk.

Asha glared at the entity, she wouldn't let it take Magnifico's mirror from her. Star finally decided to intervene, and floated over to Asha, from Amaya's bedside where she lay lifeless, glitter trailing behind him. Asha was angry at him for just letting Queen Amaya, her friend, Miren's wife die, for letting this thing kill her. Despite this Star hovered in front of Asha, and Magnifico's mirror guarding them. The entity hissed at Star, as he glowed brighter, causing Asha to cover her eyes with one hand, wincing at the brightness that came from him. Her other hand still clung tightly onto Magnifico. He was still trapped in his mirror prison. He was completely, and utterly defenseless, against whatever this thing was, and whatever dark hold it had on him. Asha had seen him, as it spoke through him, to her, in his voice. Magnifico, no Miren's voice. His body was shaking in small painful spasms, tears rushing down his face. Asha's grip on Miren trapped in Magnifico's mirror tightened, protectively. She was right this thing had definitely hurt him, done something to his mind. She felt sick to her stomach at this creature for taking advantage of a mentally ill man. For using his trauma to feed off of. For causing him to relive said trauma just moments ago, triggering a clearly upsetting memory from his childhood about his mother, making him go back to that dark place by making his wife die so brutally.

Star glared at the entity, as it regained it's footing, from Star's light attack. ''Sombra what are you doing here? I though I told you to stay away from them! You have no right meddling in lives of humans.'' The entity cackled in a twisted way, in Magnifico's voice. Asha shuddered. So this thing was called Sombra. It was Spanish for shadow. It fitted whatever this monstrously was given it was a shadow man. Sombra pointed a long, jagged, clawed finger, over to where Amaya's bloody corpse laid on the bed. ''Except for that one right? You couldn't save her from me!'' Asha looked over at Amaya's body, and let out a anguished cry, bringing up one of her hands up to cover her mouth.. Sombra seemed to take notice of her pain, and sadistically feed off of it. ''So sorry for killing you're little friend Asha darling, but she tried to awaken my host from my possession of him. She threated my rise to power all those years ago. About time she croaked.'' Asha looked up at Sombra with fresh tears in her eyes, she grit her teeth. ''How could you do that to her? Amaya never did anything to hurt anyone! How could you just take her life? Like it was meaningless!'' Asha shouted at him. Sombra gave her a demented cackle in response. ''Do you honestly think I give a flying fuck about human life, or any life for that matter? All I care about is gaining my power back, and benefiting myself. You really are a stupid girl Asha. Thinking love can fix everything. Especially if you think it can help save that broken, pathetic, foolish excuse for a man I once called my host. Oh, and she did hurt someone she betrayed her husband, my host.'' N-No Amaya hadn't betrayed Magnifico she just wanted to protect her people, and him from himself. Asha wrapped both of her hands around Magnifico's mirror, and regretfully brought it up to her face, despite Star shaking his head warning her not to look at him.

Magnifico had a crazed expression on his face, his eyes glowing a sickening green while under the hold of this demonic creature. The same expression he had when he went nuts, while using his dark magic on her, Amaya, and the terrified citizens of Rosas. She remembered how he had stared at her with an insane expression on his face. Green eyes glistening, in the starless sky. He had seemed to be in a trance then just like he was now, drunk out of his mind on the power of dark magic, that coursed through his fragile human body. Asha choked back a sob, looking into eyes that weren't his normal soft blue color, but a wicked green. ''M-Miren...'' She stuttered out, her tears slowly falling onto his mirror's surface, they landed on it with a splish, rolling down his face.

Asha shot Sombra an angry glare, her eyes still filled with tears. ''What did you do to him?!'' she demanded the demon angrily, holding Miren in her protective grasp. If Sombra was human, the monster would have had an evil smirk on his face. She had seen as much of how he carried he carried his twisted expressions, through Magnifico's face. His human host. Sombra gave her a cackle. ''Me? I only gave him my power, in exchange for his body as a vessel to do my biding. I find it quite ironic that he freed me from the book I was trapped in, and I ended up being the one to drag him, into his own personal hell, of prison. But hey he always liked mirrors right Asha?'' Asha flinched at this, her delicate fingers, gripping the mirror tighter. She came to a realization. ''S-So those green hands that pulled him in the mirror of his staff, t-they, they where you?'' Asha stuttered.

Sombra went to lean over her in an intimidating manner. Well as close as Star would let him get to her. She felt herself shudder in fear, despite her best efforts to put on a brave face in front of the demon. Sombra was a murder. He had murdered Amaya, without a second thought. Magnifico even at his very worst had never killed someone like this in cold blood, and without any remorse. Asha knew Magnifico would never have harmed Amaya if he hadn't been under the control of this demented creature. Sombra was so much taller than the average human, even taller than Magnifico who Asha was much more shorter than. She was even shorter than Queen Amaya was.

Sombra looked her in the eyes which caused Asha's heart to stutter in fear. His green eyes where currently piercing into her soul. This thing was inhuman. He was a demon. ''I was at the time, in a far less powerful, primitive form. But over time I have managed to regain my true physical form, by draining my host of all his magic, over the many years I have been fused with his consciousness.'' Sombra turned his head away from Asha, flexing his long clawed talons, into a fist. The same fist Magnifico had made after he had crushed her mother Sakina's wish. ''So he has no magic left?'' Asha felt a cold chill run through her. If Sombra had been human he would be smirking like a cat who just ate a canary. ''That's right Asha, smart girl.''Asha made a face of disgust at the demon's false compliment.

''W-What are you?'' she demanded the entity. Sombra smirked wickedly through Magnifico. ''Demon darling~'' Asha backed away from the monster, holding Miren close. Star scowled at Sombra, shielding both Asha, and Miren from Sombra's cruel presence. Which is more than he had done, to save poor Amaya. Asha glanced over to where her wand, had been flung against the wall, it was covered in the water, and broken pieces vase that once held Amaya's flowers, her mama, and her had personally handpicked-picked for the queen.

Asha glared at the demon. ''That much was obvious. But you're more than that aren't you?'' She spat. Sombra cackled in response, voice low, and demented. He suddenly stopped speaking in Magnifico's voice to her. Releasing his hold on him. Asha hopefully yanked the mirror up to tear stained freckled face. Magnifico let out a sharp, pained gasp, as Sombra let go of his body. ''M-Magnifico?'' She questioned him, frantically, her voice hopeful. Then she let out a tearful, soft whisper of his real name. ''M-Miren?'' Miren's pupils where extremely, unnaturally dilated, with just the slivers of his blue irises were visible. He was trembling in the pain due to the demon's possession of his body. Miren made quick eye contact with Asha. She covered her mouth in horror, when she realized he was sweating purposely. ''A-Amaya? A-Asha?'' he wheezed out. His tear filled eyes suddenly fluttered, before they slowly fell shut, with him slumping against the mirror. ''Magnifico?! Miren?!'' Asha said in a panicked tone. When she received no response she came to tearful, and chilling realization that Magnifico really had passed out this time. She was worried that he had hit his head, from the force he had hit the mirror with when Sombra released him. Asha was thankful, that she saw no bruise forming, or no blood dripping from a non-existent wound on the former king's forehead. Asha didn't want to admit it, but was she was growing slightly uneasy in Sombra's presence. If the demon could use Magnifico like some kind of puppet for him to play with like he was a toy, for the demon to play with not person. Magnifico was someone she had always seen as strong man who had once carried the weight of Rosas, and all it's people on his back. Despite the fact Asha had always known his strength was nothing more than a façade, to cover up how emotionally weak he really was For Sombra to just kill Amaya like this in cold blood, and use Magnifico as his puppet to carry out his wicked deeds, who knew what else this twisted monster was capable of doing. Asha didn't want to be afraid of Sombra, she wanted to put on a brave face, and act like he didn't scare her, but she knew that was a lie. Sombra had this kind of air about him, everywhere the demon went was cold, devoid of any life, love, or happiness. The simple things, emotions that every human being was capable even someone as lost, and damaged as Magnifico. S-Sombra he was the complete opposite of Star.

Asha brought the mirror close to her, cradling Miren close in her arms, protectively. I will protect you at all cost from this creature. She thought. But Asha knew that without Star, her, and Miren would be long dead by now.

Asha gave Sombra an angry glare. ''I'll ask you again what exactly are you?'' she demanded the demon. Sombra's long jagged fangs turned into what the human equivalent of a smirk would be. The demon even put Magnifico's smirks to shame, which was an achievement in itself. Sombra titled his head towards, her his hollow green eyes squinting in amusement. The way this creature moved his body so unnaturally, so different from a human made Asha shiver. ''I told you I am a demon. You already know that much. Have seen that much. But I suppose I shall indulge you're feeble, primitive human mind a bit more.'' Sombra no longer spoke to her in Miren's voice but in his true demonic tone. It took the edge off her mind a little bit, that he wasn't using Miren's voice to freak her out, and had released his possession of him. But Sombra's true voice was a truly terrifying thing to be witness to. To hear with you're own ears. It was so deep, and twisted. His voice made Asha's skin crawl. Asha scowled at him, for calling her, and all humans, feeble, and primitive. They where all so much more than he thought they where. They where made from the stars. Made with the ability to love, and nurture, and dream. Even Magnifico. Something that was a completely alien to Sombra. ''My brother, and I Celestia, or as you call him Star,'' Asha glance up at Star, as he turned to her, from where he was hovering in place, to give her a forlorn look, in his little eyes. Star's real name was Celestia is that what Sombra had said? Magnifico's real name was Miren, and Star's was really called Celestia. She was re-learning everything she, though she knew over again. Sombra gave her what a human would call a hum of amusement, at her confusion. Asha made a disgusted face. Even the demon's hums sounded weird, wrong in some way. He continued explain thing's to her, while giving her what would be an evil smirk all the while. ''Are creatures as old, and as timeless as the birth of the universe itself. We far excede, you puny, and frail humans, plants, and animals like you're goat friend over there,'' He pointed his long jagged finger, down towards, where Valentino was still laying on the floor, once again unconscious. Asha felt her protective mama bear instincts kick in, when Sombra's long ugly finger shot out towards Val. He was not only her beloved pet goat, but along with Dahila one of her best friends. How dare Sombra throw the little goat against the wall like he was a rag doll. He could have been, hurt or even killed in the process. She knew Valentino was a tough little goat. But Sombra's serious lack of empathy greatly disturbed Asha to her core. He had killed Amaya a living, breathing human being, destroyed her flower pot, and shriveled up her flowers, and tried to harm an innocent animal without, a second thought. How could he not feel the slightest bit of regret, for what he had done to others, for everything he had put Magnifico through while possessing him, was beyond her. But then again he, had told her, that all life was simply meaingless to him. Asha couldn't understand how Sombra, or anyone could think that way. Life, wishes, hopes, and dreams where worth preserving, and pursing. It's what made the human experience worth living. Life was something truly beautiful, precious. How could Sombra not see something that simple?

Sombra gave her a demented, twisted laugh in his real demonic voice. Asha would be lying if she said it didn't at least frighten her. ''And that my dear is what makes you humans, weak, inferior to me, and all the power I have given my hosts, over the billions of years I have existed. You are angry with me, yes? For hurting that little creature you humans call a goat'' Sombra gestured over with his chin, to where Valentino lay sprawled out on the royal bedroom floor. He then pointed over to Amaya's bloody corpse, and Doctor Samsus's slumped, unconscious body. Asha felt tears well in her eyes. ''For harming this feeble old man, of a doctor, for killing her.'' Asha scowled at the demon, her teeth bared, with tearful eyes. ''I can sense you're anger towards me, you're hate. It's what fuels me, along with you're fear. What gives me my strength. I can feel you are also upset that took over you're king is that correct?'' Asha needed to calm down a little, she was unintentionally giving Sombra, more power with her emotions, that he feed off of like some kind of sick freak of a parasite. Asha wiped her tears away, with her spare hand. ''What do you think...'' She spoke in a broken whisper.

''I think I am correct, and far more evolved than you, in you're thinking.'' Asha repressed the urge to roll her eyes, Sombra made Magnifico's grand displays of narcissism look like it was nothing. This demon sure did love insulting people. ''I also know it is my role as a demon, as an abomination to take what I want, and inflict great misery upon my victims.'' Asha gave Sombra a face of disbelief, and horror. She was struggling to control her very real human emotions in front of him. Sombra let, out a deep demonic sigh of what must have been pleasure. It made Asha feel sick to her stomach. He was gaining the upper hand against her already. Absorbing her human emotions to power up himself. Asha couldn't help it she was such an emotional girl. Dahila had always said her biggest weakness was caring to much. Doc was right about that. It is what had gotten her in trouble with Magnifico all those long years ago.

Sombra looked down at her, he loved looking down on others. His green eyes squinted. ''Thank you for the meal Asha.'' Asha trembled he was feeding off of her. Star, no Celestia gave her an urgent look. He glanced at her, while also keeping a watchful eye on Sombra. ''Asha my brother is gaining more power by you're feelings. You must try to relax, and repress them. My magic can only do so much to repeal him.'' Celestia said. His glowing in sync when talking seemed to bother Sombra. Sombra pointed a ghastly finger at Celestia. ''I suppose we can't all be perfect like you brother.'' Celestia gave Sombra a glare. ''You see Asha when my brother, and I came into our existence he absorbed all the goodness of creation, the light. I however as you can see,'' Sombra gestured to himself with a long clawed hand. ''Was left to absorb all his table scrapes. The destruction of the universe. I was birthed in complete darkness, and isolation.'' Isolation that word deeply resonated with Asha. Sombra was like Magnifico in that way. He said he was born, in darkness, and isolation, and was trapped in that strange book she had tried to touch during her interview with Magnifico. She knew he had warned her the book is dangerous. But hey she had thought the magical butterflies that were protecting it, and edgeings around it where pretty. At least until they had tried to attack her, and he had to come over, and put them back in place. That had seemed so long ago now. Ages ago. Now Magnifico was the one who had suffered years of lonely isolation by Sombra's cruel hand, all because he had touched his book, without the obsidian oil Amaya had told Dahila about, that Dahila later shared with Asha. Asha's slender fingers curled around Magnifico's mirror as she gulped. She was trying to keep her emotions at bay like Celestia had said. Sombra was already strong enough.

''I stayed isolated for billions of years, then humans eventually came along, and Celestia started granting their wishes. Well as you can see,'' He pointed his finger out towards the mirrior Miren was trapped in. Asha brought it closer to her chest protectively. ''At least some of those wishes? Isn't that right Celestia?'' Celestia floated in place with a scowl on his face. What did he-, what did Sombra mean when he said Celestia only granted some wishes he, had granted hers, to put a stop to Magnifico's madness. She looked down out where Miren lay unconiuness in the mirror. Slumped against it. His cheek pressed on the glass. Asha ran her finger over it. Miren's body was still slightly shaking in painful little spasms. She looked back up at Sombra as he contuined. ''When I finally was freed from my isolation, it was by a selfish, greedy man who wanted his wish granted. Much like you're precious king Asha. A wish Celestia chose to ignore.'' Sombra gestured towards where Miren in Magnifico's mirror was clutched protectively by Asha, in her arms. She tried her best to keep a neutral expression on her face, remembering what Celestia had told her.

Celestia was getting feed up with Sombra, and his twisted games. ''Just stop Sombra you have caused enough misery for everyone, you've hurt enough people for tonight.'' Celestia warned the demon while glaring at him. Sombra seemed to give the demon equivalent of a smirk. Asha watched as he glanced over at the full moon with his empty green eyes. Sombra cackled sending a shiver through Asha she was desperately trying to repress. ''Ah Celestia must you always be the one to put an end to my fun?'' .'' Asha was disgusted by how callous, Sombra was. How he acted like slaughtering innocent people was normal to him, as drawing was a hobby to her. Asha knew he didn't feel any remorse for what he had done to everyone especially Amaya. Poor Amaya she thought. Asha didn't want to think of how she was sharing a room with a dead body. She still hadn't let the trauma of seeing Amaya die so brutally fully process yet. At least Miren hadn't seen the whole thing like she had. It had caused him immense pain from the little he had seen.

Sombra put his long clawed hands behind his back, his haunting green eyes crinkling in amusement. Celestia scowled at the demon. ''You know our rule Sombra.'' Celestia warned him, with his in sync glowing. Sombra gave a deep, demonic cackle. ''Yes brother I suppose I do.'' Asha cradled Miren closely. W-What rule where the two entities talking about? It had her puzzled. She felt her face scrunch up in confusion, wrinkling the freckles that dotted her cheeks. Sombra gave her a quick taunting look. ''In three days time I will return to wreck havoc, on you're kingdom. Since that one died, and you will become the new queen Asha.'' Sombra held up his clawed fingers, and put three of them down. He also gestured over to where Amaya's corpse lay with his other clawed hand, and laughed. Asha felt sick, Sombra was mocking her over the fact that Amaya had died. ''T-Three d-days?'' Asha stuttered out softly. She looked down at the ground of the bed room blankly, her brown eyes where hollow. Asha was trying to ease her panicked mind. She decided to look anywhere but Sombra, or Amaya, or Doctor Samsus. ''W-Why t-three days?'' Asha looked up at Celestia like she had looked up at the stars all those years ago during Magnifico's initial defeat. Her father had told her the Stars are here to guide, us inspire us, to make us believe in possibilities. She sadly though of how she had told Magnifico about this during her interview with him when they first meet. When she was applying to be his apprentice. When, they where just mere acquaintances, not the bitter enemies they had become. Asha's fingers gripped the mirror tightly. She had never told the former king that she had always wanted to be more, than his apprentice, but to get to know him better, and become his friend. Asha always regretted that they couldn't have become friends. ''Star, n-no Celestia why three days?'' Asha asked again this time with a little more force, in her voice. But Sombra answered Celestia for her.

''Since that fool released me from my prison, the book I was trapped in, Celestia, and I came to an agreement millennia's ago.'' Asha gulped, hesitantly, using her spare hand to tuck the braid that was falling in her face, behind her ear. Before she asked the demon with great caution. ''W-What agreement?'' Asha asked, trying to make sense of everything. Sombra was the one who was answering all her questions, not Celestia. Who seemed hesitant to tell her much of anything.

Sombra answered Celestia for her. ''I have caused what Celestia seems to believe a lot of trouble, over the many billions of years we have both existed. I've killed many humans, and crushed their wishes, hoarded them, stole them, you know the usual.'' Sombra was talking to her about such revolting things like how her mama talked about baking her, and her Sabino a cake. Why was killing people so normal to the demon? It deeply disturbed her to her core, made Asha's skin crawl. Sombra just proudly admitted to her that he was a mass murder, a serial killer, and that scared Asha more than anything. That Sombra took people's lives without even a second thought, without any empathy what so ever. The demon also seemed to sadstically enjoy what he was doing. Magnifico had been possessed by this thing, it had completely taken him over, used him to it's advantage. A mentally ill victim must have been an absolute gold mind for Sombra to play with. So did that mean that Magnifico was not completely at fault for everything that he had done? That had happened between them? No Asha didn't think so.

Sombra leanded forward towards her, as Asha leanded back towards the wall clearly intimated by the demon. She averted her eyes from him. Celestia kept him at bay, glaring at Sombra in anger while he floated in place, shielding both Asha, and Miren from him, as the demon contuined his monologue.

"Because I've ruined so many humans lives, hurt so many "people." Sombra seemed to roll his eyes using his claws to make quation marks, to express what little concern he had for harming others. Asha felt disgusted by him. "Thousands of years before you children where born," He gestured over to an unconscious Miren laying against the mirrior she was holding, and so protective of. Asha shouldn't really be suprised given the fact that she now knew both Star, or Celestia and Sombra where both billions of years old. Despite the fact that Magnifico was much older than her even though, Asha was now an adult who was twenty three, and he was a man in his late thirties who was now thrity seven. Had it really been six years since Asha had last seen him? To Sombra however he was little more than an insignificant child like she was. She continued listening to the demon.

"Celestia after he trapped me during a murder spree, told me I had to stop killing humans, crazy right?" "Yes you are." Asha thought, at the demon's bad taste of a joke. Sombra seemed to smirk at her. The demon also posssed telepathy to go along with his telekinetic powers. Go figure he could also read her mind.

"I of course initially refused his offer, until he cursed me to fall in line, and cast a spell upon me that would prohibit me from harming humans for up to three days. It's highly complicated god-like magic as a worthless ape, I think you're far too stupid to understand these things Asha."

Asha scowled at the demon. Celestia crossed his little arms, defending her. "She's not stupid." Asha generally never saw the little Star angry before except for all the times she had to hold him back from going after Magnifico after he was possed, but she appreciated her friend for defending her intelligence.

Sombra seemed to get a kick out of this. "Ah yes brother always the ape lover. Tell me what it is you like about them so much? How easy to manipulate they are? How primitive they are? Or how fragile they are? It makes them so easy to crush!"

Asha's brown eyes widened in absolute horror as she heard Miren let out a pained gasp from his mirror. A shiver ran through her. "Because we all know what happens to wishes out here in the real world they get crushed!" She remembered that Magnifico had said that in a dark voice while crushing her mother's wish in his bare hand. Now she knew he had been nothing more than a puppet, a pawn for a greater evil, that was clenching his fist, and seemed to be telekinetically harming the king.

Miren's eyes lids fluttered weakly as his hand went to where the pain Sombra was causing was coming from his chest, his heart. Sombra was using his telekinetic powers to squeeze the poor man's heart. Asha felt so so sick.

She heard Miren's breathing start to escalate as Celestia looked over at them in shock. "S-Sombra s-stop this right now! Don't do this to her! I'm warning you!." Celestia seemed to glow brighter, and although Sombra knew he would be forced to back off the demon wasn't done making his point to the frightened girl.

"M-Miren!" Asha screamed at the former king in absolute panic. Despite everything he had done Magnifico did not deserve to get his heart crushed by a demon. Why was Sombra trying to intentionally harm his host? Did he no longer have any need for him?

"You know you're right about that Asha. I'm grown bored of playing with this little toy of mine, maybe I should push him, see how much his body can handle make him break! C'mon Asha I want to hear you beg me not to kill him!" Sombra all but cackled. Her suspicions of Sombra no longer finding any use in Magnifico were conformed "P-Please d-don't hurt him!" Asha choked on a sob as she watched the demon torture the former helpless king. Celestia's eyes where glowing brightly as he kept Miren unconscious through the whole thing. She could also see that the little Star was helping the man calm down his wheezing breaths. Sombra's hold on him was starting to slowly ween off. But not before the demon telekinetically forced Asha to face him, she thought her neck would break from the force Sombra had used on her. Celestia looked at her in concern, and whatever he had did seemed to stop Sombra from snaping her delicate neck like it was nothing more than a twig. Asha could no longer hide it as tears built in her eyes she was terrified of this demon, more scared of him, and the evil he could do than she ever had been of Magnifico. Sombra was forcing eye contact with her, Asha never felt more uncomfortable to look at someone, or in this case something in the eyes as she was now. "I've got what I wanted from him, all his magic. He is no longer any use to me." Shit! Asha thought this demon had seroiusly screwed Magnifico over BIG TIME. Celestia was desperately trying to keep Sombra from killing both of them. Using his own teleknies to soften Sombra's hold on them. "You wish to save him yes? That's what she wanted from you?" The sadstic demon pointed over to where Amaya lay, Asha didn't want to look at the poor women but Sombra was forcing her too. "You wanna fix him huh? Fix what's broken? What's wrong with him? You won't be doing that with me child. I like who I am, and what I do to people. The torment I put them through. But good luck trying with him Asha." In an instance Asha, and Miren where free from Sombra's telekinetically induced torture of them. Celestia had gained enough power to blast the demon back. Sombra cackled amused by this, while staggering on his feet. "Begone demon. You know the rules you are no longer welcome here." Celestia warned. Sombra smirked wickedly at him. He pointed over to Amaya. "He's not going to be happy when he finds out." Celestia was truly feed up with the demon's games. "Go now Sombra. You won't be given another chance."

Asha had fallen to the floor in the two powerful entities scuffle. The poor girl was tearful, and shaking in fear. She cradled Miren close, as his breathing slowly calmed down. Placing the only source of comfort she knew in her panicked state a kiss to the cold glass of his mirror. Asha remembered how her Papa, and Mama used to kiss her forehead after she had a nightmare to comfort her. Even though the glass was cold against her lips, Asha could care less, she was just glad the poor man's breathing was starting to slow down into more normal breaths, instead of desprate gasps for air as if he was fighting to fill his oxgen-starved lungs. Asha frantically brought a hand up to her neck, and winced. She could already start to feel the dark brusies beginning to bloom on her sensitive freckled neck, as she rubbed the dull ache they had caused. She didn't care. Celestia had kept her, and Miren alive that's all that truly matterd to her at the moment.

Hearing Miren start to breath more normal after the pressure Sombra had placed on his fragile human heart, she kissed the mirror again to calm him as he let out a tearful little whimper of pain. "It's okay. You're okay sweetheart, I've got you." Asha whispered to the man in the mirror softly, lovingly, trying to calm her own self down a little. Why she had called him sweetheart she didn't know. He had stared calling her that after she had told him, he was worthy of being saved. What she said had clearly meant alot to him. He called her, sweetheart, and darling which she didn't mind at all because it was Miren the real him, that had called her that not Magnifico. Magnifico would never... He was a cold, merciless man. But Miren was a human being who was still capable of forming real attachments, even in his currently hidden state, and was absolutely starving for love, and any kind of attention. Given the fact of what Sombra had just attempted to do to Miren's heart her term of enderment towards him just seemed to fit. Miren really did have a precious, and fragile sweet heart, it was just buried under a lot of anger, and clearly unresolved tramua that had made him feel like being the mask he wore around everybody as Magnifico was his best option for his own survival. It occurred to her that Magnifico and his arrogance, his vanity serverd as a protective shield for Miren to push others away. He assumed if he was an asshole to everyone than no one, except for his now dead wife would ever truly love him for who he really was on the inside. Magnifico was using being a jerk to hide Miren from everyone else in the world. Miren must have had little to no self-estem in himself despite the falsehood he presented as Magnifico to the outside world. His entire self-worth, who he was as a person was all based on what he could do for others. How he could please them, but he was never able to please himself. The needy people of Rosas who always demanded more from him, and were never satisfied with anything he gave them, his wife, her... He had every right to be angry with them, with her. He felt like they didn't appreciate him, and betrayed him after everything he had done for all of them, and the kingdom of Rosas to keep everybody safe from the cruelty of the outside world he had witnessed from first-hand experience.

"Well that was quick wasn't it?" He scoffed at her without any humor present in his empty tone. "You know people usually wait a few months, maybe even a year before they start asking me for things..." Magnifico had looked at her out of the coner of his eye hesitantly in a stunned manner. Asha hadn't forgotten how hurt, and disappointed in her he had been, his breif change in facial expression had told her everything she needed to know. The mask had cracked a little even back then. She could see the deep hurt, and devastion in his eyes. Here he had been trying to form a genuine connection with her, and comfort her about her dead father by sharing with her about what happened to his family when he was a vulnerable, and naive child like she had once been. Asha had seen the burnt tapestry Magnifico had shown her, she was twelve when her dad had died. Magnifico looked so much younger than her when he had lost not one, but both of his parents simultaneously. At least she still had her mother Sakina left, and her grandfather. His mother's death had been absolutely brutal she could tell that much. She thought losing her dad had hurt, both his parents where dead, mostly likely killed in front of him, and God only knew how many other innocent people he had seen brutally slaughtered in front of him as child. When he had unconsciously, and unetiontenally reveterd back to his child-like state of mind in front of her, he sounded so so very young. Far too young for him to fully process the horrors he had seen. He hadn't even gotten the chance for his brain to fully develop properly if that was the case. That must have emotionally stunted his development as an adult. No wonder he was such a cold, bitter, and angry person, after everything he had been exposed to at such a young age. What those thieves had done to him, and his family, his mother, must have fucked him up in the head big time. Magnifico hated all of humanity, even himself. He didn't believe in the good in people like she did. The only person he found worthy of loving, of trying to do better for was Amaya who had been such a sweet, and patient woman with her husband. What had Asha done for Magnifico when he revealed to her said vulnerability? She had selfishly demanded he granted her Saba's wish immediately. Asha realized with dread that no one in Rosas expect for Amaya ever really loved him as a person, everyone just saw him as nothing more than a wish granting machine. Including her. Asha felt disgusted in herself. How could she, have done that to him, hurt him like that? Who Miren built Magnifico up to be was nothing more than just a emotional wall, a giant defense mechanism. How could Asha not have realized all this before?

Celestia angrily glanced Sombra over, as the demon watched the pair over in some kind of sick mock amusement. "Humans their so weak." The demon was disgusted by the heartfelt scence in front of his wicked green eyes. "It's time for you to go. I won't ask you again." Celestia glowed brighter in waring. "Ah yes, yes I know. By the way Asha. Say hello to you're little friends for me." Sombra gave her a haunting glance before vanshing into thin air in a puff of black smoke. Her friends! Did he kill them too?! She hoped to Dear God they where all still alive! They had to be okay! They just had to be! No Asha refused to believe anything else!

Asha went to get up, her legs shaking, and nearly giving out in the process. Sombra had really scared her, and done a number on her. Asha leaned down in her frantic state to scoop up Valentino with one arm, while cradling Miren in the other one. Her breathing was heavy, as she realized she was still shaking, and crying after her one on one encounter with Sombra. That demon was utterly terrifying!

Valentino let out a slight little whimper of discomfort as Asha held him. The little goat gave a few little defensive kicks trying to unconsciously, and instinctively protect himself from the unknown threat that was currently restraining him. Since he was not quite sure what was going on the goat was relying on his primitive, basic animal instincts to keep himself safe. Asha shushed Val, and planted a soft, nurturing kiss on the goat's furry forehead. ''Shh shh Val it's okay it's me Asha.'' she spoke to the distressed animal like she would a small child. As she comforted her pet goat, by petting his fur she saw a small amount of blood was gathered on the silky pajamas her mother Sakina had made for him...

Asha eyes widened in horror at the thought of Valentino being injured, before anger flooded her. That bastard of a demon. She shushed a squirming Val in her arms while trying to balance both him, and Miren's mirror in her arms. With dread Asha slowly, and carefully walked over to her abandoned wand that Sombra had disarmed her off. She leaned down to reach for her wand, that was covered in water. Asha grimaced her expression was tight. The Fairy Godmother of Rosas shook off the excess water that dripped from it, and whimpered in discomfort desperately trying to avoid eye contact with where a broken Amaya lay. The woman Asha had seen a demon kill, the queen she had failed. Seeing Sombra kill her was the most graphic thing Asha had ever seen in her life. It hurt too much to look at her. Asha made sure Miren was shielded from the dreaded sight she had bore witness to.

Quick Little Preview Of The Bedroom Scene Flirting And Fluff:

"Queen Amaya obviously saw someone in you who was worthy of loving. I mean she did marry you after all." Asha trailed off, lost in thought. Being alone with him in a bedroom was both exhilarating, and somewhat scary. She wasn't quite sure what Magnifico would do to her if he wasn't, trapped in a mirror. Would he try to seek revenge on her? Take over the throne she was destined to inherent? That was left to her by his dead wife? The throne that she had pulled out from underneath him? No Miren would never harm her, or Amaya. Magnifico he was...but Miren... Miren was different.

Her brown eyes meet his blue ones, and she shivered as he smirked at her. A suprise Asha wasn't expecting. Her heart rate increased nervously, and oxgen left her lungs as she had breifly forgetten how to breath. Miren's smirks where so much diffrent from Magnifico's. Magnifico's were more sinster, and conceded. But Miren's were more lop-sided, and a little playful. Like he was toying with her, in a teasing way. Asha felt her cheeks heat up, a slight smile tugging on her lips in amusement of his antics "I doubt it was my personality that drew her to me..."

Asha gave him a quzical look. She giggled at him tucking a stray braid that had fallen in her face behind her ear. "Then what was it about you that she liked so much do you think?" She asked him in a teasing tone. Miren smirked at her like he knew something she didn't "I mean can you honestly blame her? What woman wouldn't be attracted to all of this baby?" He gestured to himself up, and down with one hand while the other remained behind his back, wiggling his eyebrowls at her. Asha snorted baby? Now that one was new. She had only every heard him call his wife, Queen Amaya that. Asha rolled her eyes at him.

"Ah so there is the old King Magnifico, and his massive ego coming out to play. I had almost forgotten how far you had you're head stuck up you're own ass." Asha bit her lip at him, fluttering her eye lashes, the freckles around her eyes crinkling. Her fingertip lightly tapped on his mirror, as he tapped back. Miren took no harm in her tone however as it was said in a joking manner.

"It's not vanity if it's all true darling. I mean I am a handsome king." He shot her a somewhat dorky grin, goading her on, while gesturing at her to contuine to flatter him more with his hand. "There's more darling admit it~" Asha snorted at him. Miren was not only surprisingly shy, but he was a little bit of a dork as well. Just like she was. Asha decided to humor him. "Ah yes you're majesty! You're cute, and smart, and bold, and brave." Asha brought her hand up to her mouth, letting out a small giggle, while pointing at him.

"Don't forget charming, and suave darling." He sing-songed while flexing his bicep at her. While her, and Celestia had been trying to not steal back her family's wishes from him, she had over heard him through the wall to the wish room, during his little ego jerk off. But the way he had said everything about himself that was the most telling to her of all.
