coy teased to naughty
feeling pleas of a body
caught in the drop
of caramelizing sensibility

halting the speed
through tender decree
cherish by firm press
regardless of the pound
to get down and grunt
feeling bodies resizing

the flare starts a dare
that scares calm to flight
a live wire sizzle dragged
down to what won't be
denied for a bite a gasp
who stifles what is wanted

yet held in that gaze
words can't say powder
from the rock of the bond
of a life here and after
the shatter of closeness
rattling just out of view

hands keeps honest
what demands primal
the sound of storms
distant echo in moans
growing too quick
to savor what is soon spent

burning lonely to coax the furnace
racing to chase that greed for flesh
silencing words with mouth
and motions and flowing

in that ever higher peak of fire

the change past rage
but growls all the same
a clawing for order

find common cause

as screams flee fire
seizing desire stiff

that unbroken bond
holds firm as that embrace
making frantic holds static
as pleasure shivers out
by breath
by promise
by devotions
made beyond the mouth

and in that lover's kiss
when sweat and relief mix
