During the class, the teacher went on explaining the students the various methods of drawing and presenting their designs. Some listened to her attentively while some were busy in their own world. The teacher was glancing at each and every student from time to time, but her attention was mainly on Riddhima.

"Your name is Riddhima?"

The teacher, Miss Juliet curiously asked.

"Yes Ma'am"

Riddhima replied, felling a little awkward, of being pointed out from the whole class.

"Meet me after the class."

Miss Juliet ordered, to which Riddhima  nodded obediently.

"Riddhima has gone to meet Miss Juliet"

Vansh said, while he, Angre and Ishani  sat in the canteen during the break.

"Yeah, I hope Riddhima gets released by her soon" Ishani said, "She can't remain hungry for long."

"She hasn't eaten anything since morning"

Vansh said, with a friendly concern.

Angre brought the food for three of them, which they ate hungrily.

"Angre ?" Vansh called for him, as they went to the parking area to go back home.

"Yeah?" Angre answered.

"Aren't you dropping Ishani home?"

"No no. She had come on her scooty, and so she is going home on her scooty only."

"Oh.. Do you know whether Riddhima has left with her or not?''

"I don't think so, Vansh. Ishani  left alone only."

"Then where is Riddhima?"

Vansh asked, panic forming inside him.

"I thought she was with you."

"She was with me till our last class but after that I don't know where she was."

 Vansh said, in a panicky voice.

"Don't worry yaar. She must have gone home. Just call Auntie and ask whether Riddhima is at home"

"I can't call.. Auntie is not at home. She has gone to her son's house for meeting him."

Vansh said, helplessly.

"You go home Vansh. I'm sure she must be at home only."

"Ok.. I'm leaving"

"Call me when you find her."

"I will." Vansh said and hurriedly went to his bike.

Vansh opened the door with the spare key he had.

"Riddhima?" He yelled.

"Riddhima?" He called for her again.

He checked the ground floor and climbed up the stairs to check her room.

As soon as he opened the door of her room, the sight made him sigh in relief. Riddhima was there! But not in normal state? He could hear her sobs. 'Crying?' He thought.

Riddhima was seated in the floor, her back leaning on the bed. Her knees hugged her chest and her face was dig into her knees with her hair all messed up.

"Riddhima? Whats wrong?"

Vansh asked, stepping forward and kneeling in front of her.

Riddhima looked up and immediately clung onto him and started sobbing loudly.

Vansh wrapped his arms around her protectively and caressed her back to relax her.

"Riddhima tell me what happened?"

 Vansh asked, in a concerned voice.

"Riddhima? Speak up yaar, what's wrong?

Did someone say you something?"

Riddhima moved slightly backwards and wipe a tear off her cheek.

"Now tell me. What happened? Why did you come home early? And why are you crying?"

"Vansh!" Riddhima  exclaimed and hugged him again.

"Riddhima you are making me worried. C'mon yaar tell me.."

"I'm hungry, Vansh!"

Riddhima said softly.

"What?"

She parted from the hug and repeated, "I'm hungry, Vansh"

"And that is the reason you are crying?"

Riddhima nodded her head positively.

"Are you mad?" Vansh said, feeling irritated.

"I didn't eat anything since morning. You said that the food which I made was not good, so I didn't even eat a single bite. Then we were getting late for our class, so I didn't eat at that time too. Then during the break, Miss Juliet called me for some work, so I didn't had time to eat. After that, I had to search for a book in the library, so I went there. I am too hungry now, Vansh. I came home in hope that I would find something at home, but no! I didn't. Auntie also went to her son's house straight from the market. And now I'm dying from hunger

Riddhima explained her whole day to him, in between her sniffs and sobs.

"OK.. OK.. Don't cry.. Get up from the floor and sit on the bed... I'll get something for you. Tell me, what would you like to eat."

Vansh said in a comforting voice, making her sit on the bed.

 "Bring me a pizza from domino's, and grilled cheese sandwich, and shahi pulao with shahi paneer, and dal makhani with butter naan, and don't forget the dessert, oreo ice-cream from Mc. Donalds and moong halwa also. Bring any cold drink with it. I think that will be sufficient for now."

Riddhima went on explaining her food-list to Vansh, while Vansh rapidly shifted his gaze from her face to her tummy back to her face, with mouth-opened.

"Will you eat all this?"

Vansh asked, letting out a shocked gasp.

"Of course, Vansh. I said na that I'm very hungry."

"But I will the half of it"

Vansh said straightaway.

"Haww.. You didn't eat during the break?"

"I ate but now I am feeling hungry yaar."

"No I will not share it" Riddhima said, stubbornly, "Now you go and bring all this"

"You suck Riddhima!"

"NOW GO!" said Riddhima irritatedly.

"Thank you Vansh ."

Riddhima said when Vansh gave her the packets of her order.

Vansh pouted and looked on the other side, pretending to be angry at her.

"You can have some." 

Riddhima said hesitatingly, when she looked at the quantity of food she ordered.

"OK. Lets start eating," 

Vansh said, turning back to her, while rubbing his palms against one another and inhaling the delicious smell of the food.

They started eating, and occasionally fed each other. Their friendship was definitely growing!

"Umm.. It was delicious!"

Riddhima moaned after eating the last spoon of the ice-cream.

"Yes it was!"

Vansh said, while letting out a small burp.

"My tummy is full"

"Mine too"

"I think I need a walk, Vansh" Riddhima said, while clutching her tummy, "Lets go to the beach. Moreover, I haven't seen the beach as yet.."

"Yeah. Lets go" Vansh said, "I'll be back in a minute."

"Ok!"
