 Vansh and Riddhima reached home after their becoming "Friends" and a joyful bike-journey.

"Come children, how was your day?" Dsouza said, smilingly.

"It started pathetically, auntie--" Riddhima said, letting out a sigh.

"
--But soon became beautiful.." Vansh completed her sentence, while glancing at her.

Shock would be an understatement for Mrs.Dsouza. One day, these two fight like Tom & Jerry.. And the other day they are passing each other 'smiley' looks. 

"Oh.. That's nice.. Became friends?" Mrs.Dsouza asked.

"Yes auntie!" they both replied in unison.

"Very good! Chalo.. Go and freshen yourself.. I'll prepare something to eat." Mrs.Dsouza said.

"Thank you auntie.." Riddhima said while planting a quick kiss on Mrs.Dsouza's cheek and climbing up the stairs, followed by Vansh.

"Its delicious auntie!" Riddhima said, while biting the sandwich which was prepared by Mrs.Dsouza.

"Oh. Thank you beta!" Mrs.Dsouza said, overwhelmed.

"Vansh, why don't you praise anyone?"  Riddhima said, feeling odd at his introvert behaviour.

"Umm.. Yeah.. Its good auntie.." Vansh said, hesitatingly.

"Thank you beta!" Mrs.Dsouza said, overwhelmed at the change in Vansh, the reason of which was Riddhima.

"Vansh, I need to talk to you.." Riddhima said seriously. She had totally forgotten about Ishani and Vansh's friend.

"I'll come upstairs.." Vansh said. 'I'll also talk about Angre' he thought.

"OK!" Riddhima exclaimed, while climbing up the stairs.

"Riddhima?" Vansh said, while entering Riddhima's room, for the first time.

Her room was beautiful. Her clothes were nicely stacked in the wardrobe, unlike his. Her books were cleanly placed on the study table, unlike his. Her pink bedsheet was tucked in neatly, unlike his. All in all, her room was much neat and tidy, definitely better than his room.

"Vansh!" Riddhima turned from the window and glanced at him.

"Your room is beautiful Riddhima!" Vansh said, still looking at each corner of the room.

"Its beautiful na.. You should say this to maa.. She scolds me day and night because I do not put my things in place. She thinks my room to be a cloth-selling shop!" Riddhima said, a cute smile spreading on her face, the scenes of her maa scolding her, playing in front of her eyes.

Vansh's face lost its colour at the mention of 'maa'. How he wishes that his mother would also scold him! How he wishes that his mother would also call his room a 'cloth-selling shop'! But she wasn't there! She lived in a far-away land. Very Very far away from him.. With God!

But he composed himself. His tears dried up in his eyes.

 "Leave all that Riddhima! Now tell me.. You wanted to talk to me?" Vansh said.

"Ya.. What is your friend's name?" Riddhima asked, feeling awkward.

''What do you have to do with my friend?'' 

"Uh.. Nothing.. Actually.. My friend is in love with your friend.." Riddhima said, feeling extremely awkward talking to him about this matter.

"What a co-incidence!" Vansh said, excitedly. Now he don't have to explain her the whole thing. She already has experienced the same!

"What?" Riddhima said, a little confused.

"My friend too loves your friend! You know, when we were saying each other 'sorry'.. They both were staring each other admirably. And instantly--" Vansh said, biting his lip and raising his eyebrows.

"O.M.G! You know when Ishani told me this, I was so shocked! It is indeed the best example of Love-at-first-sight." Riddhima said, controlling her laughter.

"Seriously! Its seems to be so filmy!" Vansh said, letting out a chuckle.

"So.. if your friend has asked you to inquire about my friend. Then, her name is Ishani. She is extremely talkative, shy, influential and naive." Riddhima said, finding the inquiry work too boring.

"Oh.. About Angre.. He is a complete jerk! Too flirty.. Too excited all the time.. He needs no introduction. His each and every quality is written on his face." Vansh said, feeling too silly.

"Really?" Riddhima, said raising her eyebrows, "I think they both are exactly opposite!" 

"Yeah right" Vansh said, realizing that Riddhima was actually right, "But it doesn't matter me, I've done my work and now we'll make them meet. Moreover, I find all this really boring!"

"Yeah!" Riddhima said, yawning. She wanted to sleep!

"Okay. I'm leaving. You sleep now!" Vansh said, turning towards the door, when a thought came into his mind and he turned back.

"Riddhima, we are friends. Right?"

"Ya we are. But what made you ask this question?"

"No I think you'll fall in love with me soon." Vansh said, pursing his lips.

"What?!" Riddhima replied, shockingly. A deep red colour rising to her cheeks."Me? And I'll fall for you? Are all other better guys dead?"

"No.. Actually I've read that girls fall in love with their best friends who are boys. You know.. Girls' mentality!"

"Haww.. This is not girls' mentality. But it is definitely of boys'.."

"Let's see"

"Vansh! Its not even 3 hours since we've become friends! And you are talking about falling in love!"

"Yeah.. After all, we are not Ishani and Angre"

And they both burst into laughter.

Vansh was watching a football match on T.V. when he got a call from Angre.

"Hello?" 

"Hello, Vansh? Did you ask Riddhima?" 

''Ya I did. You know her friend also loves you." 

"Really? Oh my god!"  Angre said on phone. Vansh could very well judge his highly blushing face by his voice.

"By the way, her name is Ishani. And she's totally opposite of what you are." Vansh said, teasingly.

"Hayeee ayeee Ishani, my darling.#ishangre. That's not a thing to take tension about. I'll soon make her like me!"  Angre said with utter confidence.

"Hold on dude! Make sure you don't change."

"No no.. Why would I change?"

"You know I read a fact, 'when you fall in love, you lose an average of 2 friends'.. So be careful." Vansh said, slyly.

"Oh come on Vansh! This is not gonna happen."

"Koi baat nhi.. We'll see.. Moreover I have Riddhima with me now!"

"Riddhima? With you?" Angre said, not able to believe.

"Yeah.. We became friends!" Vansh said, smiling.

"Oh. That's nice. Today's breaking news, 'Tom and Jerry became friends! A huge round of applause'" Angre said, giggling.

"Very funny!" Vansh said, making a face,"I'm cutting the call now, you are making me miss my football match."

"OK, my football freak!" Angre said while cutting the call.

"Riddhima? Are you serious? Really? He also loves me?"  Ishani said on the phone, when Riddhima told her about Angre.

"Of course yaar! He loves you." Riddhima said, as sweetly as ever.

"That's so sweet of him yaar. I'm feeling so blessed right now." Ishani  said, blushing.

"Aww.. You'll meet him tomorrow?"

"I don't know.. How will I meet him? I would be as red as tomato!"

"Come on Ishani! You can't be so shy!"

"Yeah." Ishani said and continued,"Riddhima? How did you come to know about this? Did Angre himself say you this?"

"No Ishani. Vansh told me all this.."

"Vansh? You asked HIM all this?"

"Ya I did. We are friends now!" Riddhima said, excitedly.

"Oh. Somebody's ignoring me!"  Ishani said, teasingly.

"No yaar.. How can I ignore you? You are my Besht Flend!" Riddhima said, in a child-like voice, saying 'best friend' as 'besht flend'.

"Aww.. You are also my Besht Flend!" Ishani replied, in the same tone.

"And moreover, from tomorrow, you'll be busy with your 'Angre ', then where will I go?" Riddhima said, teasing her.

"Haww.. You are such a tease Riddhima.. From tomorrow onwards, I'll be with Angre only.." Ishani  said, trying hard to control her blush.

"Ohhh.. Somebody is making plans to be with their crush!" Riddhima said, teasing her.

"Stop it Riddhima!" Ishani said, while cutting the call, her face fully flushed with embarrassment.

  .."There is no need to have a crush, when you don't have a best friend to discuss it with!"..
