Nandini: Mukti you know na you can share everything to me. I know that this proposal thing came suddenly. Is there anything you want to share??? From the time dadi had discuss about this topic you were all lost.....

Mukti(not meeting her eyes with Nandini): No it's not like that, it's just going away from you all is disturbing me....

Nandini: if this is the reason then why are you not meeting your eyes with me....

Saying this Nandini make mukti to look towards her and got shocked to see tears in her eyes.

Nandini (cupping mukti's face): Muku what happen??? Why are you crying???

Without saying anything mukti just hug Nandini tightly and burst into tears. Seeing her crying this much Nandini got worried. She slightly patted mukti's head to calm her down.

Nandini: Muku baby what happen? Okay relax, stop crying first....

Slowly she stops crying but still was sniffing. Nandini made her drink water and made her head lie on her lap and start caressing her hairs.

Nandini: Do you want me to call manik or mom???

Mukti: No please...

Nandini: Okay relax and say what happen???

Mukti: I don't want to marry....

Nandini: You are crying for this reason only. If you don't want to marry then you should have told everyone in morning itself na when they all asked you. But it's okk you can say that tomorrow also. You know na they all love you and never will force you for anything....

Mukti(getting up from her lap): it's not like that bhabz.....

Nandini: What do mean than???

Mukti(nervously): I love someone....

Nandini (still in shock): From when???

Mukti: When we all were in college....

Nandini: Why didn't Abhimanyu didn't said anything when he got know about this proposal???

Mukti: it's not that easy. There should be the reason to reject the boy, otherwise dadi will be upset and that would be the last thing I want to do....

Nandini: Give me sometime to think ok let's just meet them then we'll think something to reject this proposal....

Halfheartedly she nodded. Nandini hugs hers.

Nandini(broking the hug): now you go to sleep ok and stop thinking and crying everything will be alright I'm there na....

After making sure that mukti is asleep Nandini left from there.

Malhotra Mansion,

Nandini and neyonika both are busy with arrangements as the boy's family will be here till 12:00 clock. Dadi was on cloud 9 and praying to God that this marriage to happen. Manik, cabir, dhruv, abhimanyu and Raj had already left to their work not before promissing to come before boy's family come probably till 11:30.

Alya and navya are with mukti helping her to select a outfit for her who halfheartedly was just nodding to all things they decided or asked.

Finally it was 12:00 clock manbir, abhiruv and raj had already came and now all were waiting for the boy's family to come. Alya and navya was with mukti making her ready. The door bell ring.

Butler opens the door and inform all that boy's family is here. Everyone welcome them sat in the living room. Nandini brings snacks and served them. Dadi asked Nandini to bring mukti.

Mukti's room,

Nandini knock on the door. Navya open the door and let Nandini come in.

Nandini: They are here. Let's go mukti....

Mukti was just sitting on bed lost in her thoughts so Nandini goes towards her shake her shoulder to bring her back from her thoughts. After coming back to reality mukti sees towards Nandini.

Nandini: You are looking so beautiful....

Mukti just smiled lightly and stand up from the bed to go. They all goes down. All sees mukti coming. Ranika and dadi are just admiring mukti as she is looking so beautiful in Indian wear same case was with Manik also. It's not like that she is wearing it first time but today it was different as their little princess is going to meet the boy for marriage.

Mukti goes towards the boy's parents and take blessings from them. They both blessed her and made her sit between them.

Boy's parents were asking mukti about her hobbies, like or dislikes.

Boy's mother: Neyonika from our side it's yes. We like mukti....

Dadi: Oh great. Then we can call pandit ji....

Boy's father: First ask Mukti about it if she is ok with this....

Neyonika (excitedly): She is also ready....

Listening this mukti was shocked to the core. She can't believe her ears that her mother said this without asking her.

Boy's mother: Mukti if you want you can talk to him or if you have any questions to ask. You are free to ask....

Mukti was just looking down at her hands which were placed on her lap. She was having tough time in controlling her tears.

Cabir(teasingly): Oye lady Bheem atleast looks upward see how our to-be-groom is excited to see you....

Alya: yes mukti atleast see towards him....

And that's it for her. Getting up from their she ran to her room. Seeing her like this everyone stand up and tries to stop her but she didn't listen and ran from there.

Mukti Room,

Here after coming to her room mukti fall on her knees besides the bed crying. She puts her head on the bed and was crying badly.

She got startled when she felt a hand on her shoulder. She wipes her tears turn towards the person. Seeing the person she got shocked as she didn't expect him to be here.

Mukti(whisper): Abhimanyu....

Yes it's Abhimanyu thakkar.

Abhimanyu: Yes it's me...

Seeing him tears again starts flowing from her eyes.

Abhimanyu: What is this??? You should be happy today as your marriage is fixed but here you are crying....

Mukti: Why are you here???

Abhimanyu: Aree what type of question is that?? If I will not be here then who will be.....

Mukti(irritated): Abhimanyu please leave I'm not in mood of talking....

Abhimanyu: Let's go down everyone is waiting for you. They decided to do roka today and pandit ji also coming for fixing dates for marriage.....

Mukti (shouting): I said leave from here. I don't want to marry....

Abhimanyu: But why you don't want to marry???

Mukti: That's none of you business....

Abhimanyu: But I want you to marry....

This statement broke mukti's heart into several pieces she was feeling like that someone has Pierce a knife into her. She is not believing it, that her love saying is her that he wants her to marry. But then it's not his mistake also na he don't know about her feelings.

Mukti(in low voice): You really want me to marry....

Abhimanyu (smilingly): Yes...

Mukti(blankly): Will you be happy with it???

Abhimanyu (smilingly): Yes...

Mukti (with no expression): Let's go then....

Abhimanyu smiles and wipes her tears. Mukti was just looking at him with blank face. He holds her hand take her to living room. Mukti was just walking like a lifeless soul. She is having no expression. They both reach the living room.

Dadi: Mukti bacha come here....

Lifelessly mukti walk towards her and sits beside her.

Dadi: Muku bacha are you ready for this marriage or do you want some time to think....

Mukti: I'm ready for this marriage....

Everyone was feeling so happy. Dadi and neyonika hugs mukti together. They all congratulates each other.

Raj: Maa I have asked pandit ji he is on the way....

Boy's mother: Till he come why don't mukti sing a song. We had listen that she sings very beautiful....

Dadi asked mukti to sing.
Halfheartedly mukti agrees. Alya brings mukti's guitar. Everyone settle comfortably.

Mukti starts strumming. She closes her eyes starts singing.

She sings that he brings solace to her heart, she remembers the time they spend together (I mean with Fab 5 and abhimanyu)....

She sings further. Her eyes are still closed.

She opens her eyes and the first person she saw was abhimanyu. She was continuously singing looking only towards him. She sings that whenever she opens her eyes the first thing she want to see is only him.

She sings that she can forget herself but not him. Her voice has so much pain that can't be describe in words. Tears were continuously flowing from her eyes. She is not able to control her emotions ....

As the song ended everyone claps loudly. This made mukti realise her surroundings. She hurriedly wipes her tears before anyone sees it.

They all were praising her when pandit ji came. First they all decided to do roka ceremony. The roka ceremony marks the union of both the bride and groom's family and friends. Gifts from both families are acceptable at Rokka.

Pandit ji asked to made the bride and groom to sits beside eachother. Mukti was shocked to see the arrangements.

Mukti and the groom sits beside eachother when Nandini came towards mukti.

Dhruv: Mukti why are you looking down???

Nandini: Muku see towards the groom....

As everyone was forcing her so she uninterestedly looks towards her side where the groom is sitting. As soon as she sees the boy her expressions was changed from upset to shock to confused.

Mukti(whisper): Abhimanyu.....

First she got shock then confused. She don't know what was happening and on the other side everyone was enjoying her expressions especially abhimanyu.

Mukti then immediately sees towards Nandini and sees her smiling.

Abhimanyu: You still don't want to marry....

Manik: I don't think abhi she wants to marry you. It's okk we will see another girl for you....

Listening this mukti shouts.

Mukti: No, I want to marry him....

Hearing her everyone laugh. Manik came towards them and sits on his knees in front of them. He takes mukti's hand puts it in abhimanyu's hand.

Manik: Today I'm giving you my sister's responsibility to you abhi never ever i repeat never ever hurt her. One tear from her eyes then you'll be gone.....

Abhimanyu: Don't worry manik I can never hurt her not even in my dreams also....

Manik: I'm always scared about her because she is so precious to me but now when I have you in her life I can be happy thinking she is happy and in safe hand. Even if I search for a boy for her I can never find one like you. I have been seeing you for years. I know what you are so I can never feel bad giving my sister to you. In fact thank you for making me tension free by asking her hands and I know you will always love her and protect her.....

Mukti was having tears in her eyes but this time it was of happiness. She is not believing it, she thinks all it's a dream.

Dadi came towards them and cares mukti's head. Manik get up and stand aside.

Dadi: Muku bacha why didn't you tell us. Don't you trust us???

Mukti:. no DJ it's not like that, i trust you guys more than anyone it's just that I was scared of bhai's reaction also I don't know if abhimanyu likes me or not....

Boy's mother: How can someone not like a sweet girl like you hmm???

Manish and Swarna thakkar parents of Abhimanyu thakkar. Both lives in London. Manish is the owner of Thakkar Industries. Loves his wife who loves him equally. Swarna is a sweet beautiful, classy lady who helps her husband in business. Both are very down to earth person with modern thinking.

(I know you guys are confuse that how can mukti didn't know abhimanyu's parents because they both live out of country and visit very rarely to India.)

Dadi: Let's complete the roka first then we'll talk okk....

Virika put chunri on mukti's head and gave gifts to her.

Then Ranika and dadi came and do tilak of Abhimanyu and gave gifts to him.

Nandini again sings while dancing and at the end of the song alya and navya also joins her and the trio did the signature step of badhai ho badhai.

After the dance got completed everyone was now settled in living. Pandit ji was doing some calculation for wedding date.

Pandit ji: There horoscope is very good and matched. This marriage will bring happiness in their life.

Both the families are happy hearing this. They were happy that there horoscope matched, not that they are old fashioned but dadi is a traditional lady and she believe to stay rooted to traditions where they are needed.

Dadi: What about the dates???

Pandit ji: There is two auspicious day.
One is after 1 month and the other one is after 6 month. And for engagement after one week.

Neyonika thank pandit Ji and give him is dakshina and told him that they will let him know the date soon.
Pandit Ji left after giving blessing to mukti and abhimanyu. After he left everyone looked at Mukti and Abhimanyu then swarna spoke.

Swarna: You both say your decision will be the final one.....

Neyonika: We will do engagement after one week then if you guys want some time we will do marriage after 6 months.....

Both mukti and abhimanyu sees towards eachother then thinking for a moment both agreed to marry after 1 month.

Both the mothers squealed in joy and seeing them this much excited everyone chuckled.

Raj: Ok so it's decided we will do marriage after 1 month. And engagement next week.
