Manik's Pov:

To what extent can u love someone?

Is there any way to measure our love?

I would never know... Coz every time this question arises in my head, I realise how much my Love for Nandini has grown since the last time I thought about it.

And at this moment lying beside her side I don't think that my love for her has any boundaries.... It grows on and on in free space and she makes it grow.

I notice the light seeping into the room as a new day fills up the world, while mine still sleeps peacefully in my arms, her lips brushing the skin right above my heart.

Even after having a long day and an equally tiring party, last night seemed to have filled me up with as much energy as possible. All I can remember is her sharp nails digging into my skin as she moaned my name in between the kisses. Her eyes looking straight into mine in wonder, as she travelled deep into my soul. And that one moment where the two of us met each other in a way that would stay with us forever and ever, with her soft whisper in my ears saying those three words that could make me do just everything for her.

She told me that last night was the one when she left all the hardships of her life behind, only to start the better chapter with me, including only her happy memories. And with that she slept in my arms, after giving all of herself to me, clinging onto me the entire night with her right hand placed right above my heart, like she always does.

My heart responding just the way it always did these days. Beating well just for her, just to show its love to her. I didn't bat my eyes even once as the night passed away giving way to this new day, my eyes stayed still at her. Admiring this angel that someone above sent for just for me. Admiring each and every little detail about her. Showering her with kisses that never seemed enough to portray my feelings towards her.

Placing a last peck on her lips, I slowly laid her on my side, wrapping her carefully with the duvet before getting out of bed. I freshened up in the other room, not willing to disturb her before moving out to the kitchen. Preparing her favorite sandwiches along with a cup usual coffee, I made sure to check everything a couple of times before getting her breakfast in bed.

Setting the tray on a side, I lay back down on my side, caressing her face as she nuzzled further into my hand. I moved closer kissing her forehead softly, but couldn't stop myself from trailing kisses all through her face, and as always my girl was too oblivious in her sleep to know that. I kissed her lips, wrapping my arm around her waist as I pulled her closer, kissing her with all my might.

It wasn't long before I felt her twitch and she started kissing me back. One of her hands moving into my hair, pulling me closer, while the other rested over my heart.

I kissed me hard, keeping her face close as I felt her smile into the kiss. She broke the kiss with a breathless giggle, resting her lips on my chin.

Nandini: Trying out new ways to wake me up??

I chuckled at her words kissing her forehead again as I pulled back just a bit to look at her smiling face.
Manik: I guess this way works the best and it has more than one benefit.

She blushed at it, her smile broadening as I jerked her closer again. This action seemed to have awakened her properly as she yelped before clutching the bedsheet on her chest as she moved out of my arms.

Nandini: Manik...

I hid my smile at her flustered face as I asked,
Manik: What?

Nandini: I m naked... Stay away!

Manik: U surely weren't saying that to me last night when I stripped u naked Mrs. Malhotra.
I teased her only for her to smack a pillow on my face making me laugh out loud.

Manik: Ohk Ohk relax! I won't tease u. Now come on I made u some breakfast in bed, I m sure u don't prefer ur sandwiches cold.

Nandini glanced at the tray kept on the bedside table as a soft smile came onto her face. She moved closer to me, placing a swift kiss on my cheek and jumped off the bed with the bedsheets.
Nandini: I'll be back in a minute!

Before I could open my mouth to respond, I heard the bathroom door slam shut. A smile came onto my face at her shyness as I got the breakfast on the couch and waited for her to get back.

Hardly 5 minutes later, she opened up the door and walked out wearing nothing but a casual T-shirt of mine. A cough came out of me as she walked closer and rolled her eyes.
Nandini: Don't get excited... I had nothing else in the washroom.

I held her hand, pulling her closer and onto my lap as I wrapped my arms around her.
Manik: U can wear anything u want and still u'll find me equally excited my love.

Nandini: So cliche Manik...
She said shaking her head still smiling as she turned towards our breakfast.

Nandini: Thank u for this... I didn't even realise when u woke up and left the bed.

Manik: I never fell asleep in the first place. So I thought why not make u something to eat. I m sure u must be famished.

Nandini's eyes broadened at my first line as a deep blush came onto her face, though she didn't ask me anything about it. She picked up the coffee from the tray and took a sip before sighing in content as she rested her head over my shoulder. I caressed her arm, cajoling her with warmth before she took another sip and them passed on the cup to me.

We sat in silence, enjoying each other's proximity as I watched her eat her favorite sandwiches. As we finished eating, Nandini leaned back onto me again, closing her eyes with a small smile on her face.

Manik: Nandini??

Nandini: Hmn...

Manik: I love u!

She opened up her eyes, smiling broadly at my simple confesssion before replying back to me,
Nandini: I love u too Manik...

Manik: Are u feeling alright?
I asked her in concern when she nodded in reply,
Nandini: Perfect..

Manik: Sore?

Nandini: A little... But its nothing that a bath can't fix. Relax! Now come on, we should get ready or we'll be late for work.

Manik: We aren't going in today, we'll spend a day in. I already called up Cabir.

Nandini smiled at me before raising up her brows,
Nandini: But what are we going to do the entire day??

Manik: Well, I can think of quite a few interesting stuff...
I told her as I caressed her thigh watching her turn red within seconds. As I got up from the couch with her in my arms as nandini clinged to my neck laughing.

Nandini woke up from her short nap after their very active morning routine, she looked at her side and saw Manik finally asleep. To let him rest for sometime, she decided not to wake him up as she freshened up for the day. Going on with a few of household chores, she soon prepared lunch for the two of them.

Later, sitting in the library room of their house, she was lost in the book that she was reading when she felt a warm hard around her shoulders as she was pulled back making her rest her back on a hard chest.

A smile came up on her face as Manik rested his face on her neck inhaling in her hair,
Manik: U r hiding here in the library and I was looking for u everywhere.

Nandini: Why?? Missing me already?
Nandini teased him as he chuckled kissing her cheek.

Manik: Yes!

Nandini kept her book aside as she turned around in his arms, her eyes glittering in amusement.
Nandini: U can't seem to stop kissing me, can u haan?

Manik: What can a man do when his wife makes it so addictive for him?

Nandini: Hmn... Addictive haan?

Manik: Absolutely... U know kinda obsessed!

Nandini threw her head back laughing at him while Manik smiled at her.
Nandini: What will the world say Manik... U r supposed to have a Rockstar image, not an obsession of ur wife.

Manik: Well who cares about the world!
Manik said with a shrug as Nandini rolled her eyes at him.

Nandini: Come on... It's time for lunch.  I was waiting for u to wake up.

They got up from there and had their lunch soon after which Dhruv called up Manik as Fab5 had to attend some meetings before they left for the tour in 2 days.

Manik frowned at it as he sighed,
Manik: Is it necessary buddy? We weren't really planning on getting out today.

Dhruv: Manik u know it-

Nandini: Chill Dhruv he'll be there... He is just being a lazy ass today.
Nandini said making Manik glare at her while dhruv chuckled from the other end.

Dhruv: Ohk... See u soon!

Manik disconnected the call before turning towards Nandini.
Manik: Why can't I get a day at home?

Nandini: U surely can, but not today love!
