You know what's the difference between a mistake and a sin? A mistake is unintentional, unknown. It could be corrected, so that you don't repeat it. A mistake might lead to guilt so it could be forgiven. But, a sin, it's intentional and known. If a sinner can do it once, he can do it twice too, and thrice, again and again. It doesn't bring guilt but a pleasure, a sadistic pleasure. A sin is, thus, unforgivable.

"Your deeds are gradually paying you off."

"Your sins are unforgivable."

"You'll pay for your Sins."

"You'll pay for what you did."

"You killed him. He will kill you."

"He will kill you."

The nightmare broke, and he woke up with such alacrity that the bed shook under his weight and the jerk. He felt hot and cold at the same time, sweating and shivering profusely, despite the air conditioner in the room. Every damn light was on in the room and yet he felt darkness engulfing his being.

He was so scared these days that he let the lights switched on all the time, day or night do not matter.

As if he wasn't enough to make his life unbearable and full of chaos that now the weird man he met today was haunting him too.

He was going to take the girl on the back seat of his black Volvo XC90, completely ignorant of the driver in the first seat, when the car went out of control and it's nose banged into the trees on the left side of the road.

He parted from the girl and cursed and shouted at the driver at such recklessness.

The car's tire was punctured, the driver told him, not looking at the almost naked bodies of him and the girl on his lap, whose even name was unknown to him, actually, to them.

The cars ahead of him and the ones following him stopped and his bodyguards stepped out to surround his car when he ordered them to.

"Sir, you can use any other car to go to the mansion. The tire might take time." One of the guards suggested, but he roared indignantly. No way in hell was he going to use a car used by his servants. He was the owner, afterall.

His mood was spoiled, so he had to make it better. He looked at the girl and chewed her lips in order to forget the unpleasantness of the last few days.

It was near about fifteen minutes or so later that someone thumped and broke the window glass of the car.

They were startled out of their wits as the stooping old man looked at them- at him with his one eye whereas the other was completely white. His dirt filled, curly, grey hairs sticking on his forehead due to dirt and sweat and falling over his eyes, a few entering his mouth. His once white coloured but now pale yellow dhoti and kurta made him look more than disgusting.

The tree branch he was holding as a support, he hurled at Tej with full force. Despite the bodyguards trying their best, the old man seemed to be more powerful than the heavily built men.

"Achhe karmon ka phal bhale na mile, bure karmon ki saza zaroor milti hai." (Good deeds might not pay off, the bad deeds are definitely punished.)

"Your deeds are gradually paying you off."

"Your sins are unforgivable."

"You'll pay for your Sins."

"You'll pay for what you did."

"You killed him. He will kill you."

"He will kill you."

The bodyguards, somehow managed to drag the old man away from the car, but not before he managed to throw the tree branch he uses as a support while walking at Tej's face, injuring his forehead. The wound the old man gave him didn't hurt as much as his words scared him.

Will he kill him?

He pushed the stupid girl away who dared to tell him to ignore that man and tried to ride him.

He jumped up in fear when the window opened and closed again and again due to the thunderstorm. He got up, hesitantly, and walked with baby steps to the window to close it.

As he tried to grab the handle on the window, it flew open again and he let out a squeak in fear, panting for breath. He put his hand out of the window to grab the handle, but a burnt hand grabbed his wrist, leading to a tirade of screams and shouts. The grip was so tight that he felt his arm might come out of his shoulder blade.

His throat ached as his voice turned hoarse from so much shouting and screaming. He was getting more and more exhausted with the amount of hard work he was doing to free himself.

And the next moment he found himself on the floor, his back hurting like hell due to the fall and the door opened at the same time. His guards pulled him up but he fell down as his legs refused to support his weight.

"D- don't... leave- leave me alone. S- stay h- here."

Tej said from the bed when he saw his guards leaving the room. He just couldn't get himself to sleep alone, in this room.

Mentally cursing the mad man, the the guards settled themselves on the couch and kept cursing him mentally until he slept, still muttering incoherent, illogical words.

It was not until two days that Tej recovered from fever, and two days more to get the courage to go to the media conference he had asked his men to organise.

Tej's POV

Failure! I've always been a failure in the eyes of my father, my mother. I was never considered to be good enough to handle this business empire. Why ? Just because I wanted to fuck every girl I could see? That's absurd.

I had ambitions. I also wanted to sit on the chair of The CEO of the company, to see people pushing each other for my interviews, to get whatever I wanted done just by listening to my name. But no, Mr. Prithviraj Singh Oberoi had to fuck the matters up by giving the reins of this business in Shivaay's hands.

"Why, Mr. Prithvi, why? Had you not insulted me by denying my right, you wouldn't have to pay such a big price."

POV ends

He smirked looking at the crowd infront of him. The large conference room bustled with media persons and the cameras flashed his way to capture a glimpse of him. Just like he always wanted!

"Welcome everyone. You all must be wondering what's the purpose of this conference. As you all know that my business empire, The Oberoi Industries, is already the number one business empire of India and third in the list of the most successful business empires of Asia, I'm going to collaborate with A&M empire which is on the second position in India. This collaboration will take both the companies on a different level of success."

"We're going to sign the deal today, right here infront of you all."

There was gossip all around the place. Ofcourse, as media persons, they were doing their jobs by being there and asking questions about the deal. But it was no reason for them to not be disgusted by the man infront of them.

Tej Singh Oberoi’s disgusting ways of living were not hidden from the world. When Prithviraj Singh Oberoi had handed over the business to his Grandson instead of his son, no one had really been surprised because a man like Tej Singh Oberoi was no good at anything but at getting laid.

Over the years, the young Oberoi, Shivaay, had proved that his grandfather was right in choosing him as the CEO. He had excelled in business and ruthlessly left every other businessman behind. And here, this man was shameless enough to call his son's hard work as his own.

Perhaps, they had to stay contented with this man's bragging about his business as a 'breaking news'. Wrong.

It was an hour or so later that the assistant of the CEO of A&M Empire arrived with the papers to be signed. Finally they could leave the place that seemed nothing but wastage of their time. They were here, waiting just to see them sign on a few papers whereas they could've been somewhere else and capturing some useful information or an even bigger 'breaking news'.

Their angels in heaven had probably heard their grumbling because Tej shouted just as he was going to sign the papers.

He threw the papers as far from himself as possible with his shaky hands, screaming at the top of his lungs.

"He'll kill me!"

He'll kill me! He's following me, he has written in the papers. He'll kill me!"

Those were his words when he was trying to hide behind his guards who were trying to calm him down.

"What the hell are you saying, Mr. Oberoi? Is it any kind of a joke ? We're here to sign the deal, not to hear this nonsense of yours."

"I'm not joking. He's- he's here. He's back. He wants to kill me!"

Tej screamed the same words like a maniac as no one was ready to listen to him. The papers of the deal were filled with blood, with his message for him, that he'll kill him soon. When Mr. Dinakar, his to-be business partner's assistant picked up the papers from the floor and came back to him, there was nothing. The papers had nothing but the clauses related to the deal.

"No! Believe me, he's here. He's following me everywhere, to kill me. He wants to kill me. Why don't you all trust me?"

He shouted at everyone when no one believed him. His illogical outburst led to tirade of question thrown by the media that he was getting frustrated with.

"Who'll kill you, Mr. Oberoi?"

"What's written in the papers?"

"What are you talking about? Is it any kind of a stunt for staying in the limelight?"

"Why would anyone kill you?"

"Because I've killed them. I've killed my father. I've killed him. I've killed his wife. He wants revenge. He wants revenge."

He had sunk onto the floor being tired and dejected of shouting and despite that, being ignored. The last question by a girl broke his already worn out patience and he blurted out whatever came to his mouth. The loud gasps all around him didn't matter as he fell unconscious.

When he opened his eyes he was back in his room in Oberoi Mansion, he was there again. He jumped out of his bed, and ran towards the door, but he blocked his way.

"Enough, Tej, I've played for a long time now. I'm fed up with this hide and seek, revenge game. Lets just get it over and done with."

"W-what- are you t-talking a-about? L-let me go."

He didn't answer but stepped forward to stab Tej in his stomach but Tej fell on his feet.

"No, Tej, you had destroyed my family. You killed the person who was like my own father. You killed Prithvi sir, you killed me. And then you raped my wife, Tej. You'll pay for this. You'll have to die. These are your sins that have followed you and you're going to get punished. Your sins are unpardonable, you deserve to be punished. You, deserve to die, Tej. You deserve to die!"

"No. No. I didn't rape her. I- I know I killed my father. B-but I didn't want to kill you. I had to do it because you had seen me killing him, what should I have done? You would've sent me to jail? I had no enmity with you and your wife."

Tej joined his hands and cried as he stabbed him in his shoulder.

"So you want to say my wife committed suicide? I left my wife and daughter for another woman? That's what you want to say?"

He was angry beyond words and Tej didn't know how to save himself.

"Y-yes I admit I- I got her killed by bribing your brother and his wife. But that was your fault. You shouldn't have sent the video recording of me killing my father to her. You dragged her into this. I would've given her shelter after your death but she threatened me. She ran away from my clutches but thank god my men with the help of your brother and his wife caught her and managed to kill her. They proved it to be suicide and since you went missing, they said that the suicide was because of you."

"You stained my name, Tej. You destroyed my family. You snatched my life and my happiness from me. And I'll let you go? Why should I let you go?"

He shouted.

"Why the hell don't you understand? I didn't want to go to jail. What else should I've done? You had to preach honesty and loyalty. You were not ready to listen to me. I offered you all the money you could get but you- I couldn't afford to spend my life in jail after being so close to my goal."

"What if you couldn't go to jail years ago, Tej. You'll have to go now."

A pale faced Tej was dumbstruck as Shivaay, Om and khanna barged into the room followed by policemen. This was his worst nightmare coming true.

Years of wait and patience had gone waste. So many struggles to get what he wanted and he lost everything in moments.

"What you did to my Dadu I want to kill you. But I can't. I can't let his soul be disappointed in me. I don't want to colour my hands with your dirty blood."

The extra low, calm voice of Shivaay was the bearer of frustration, agony, pain and sorrow. Om patted his shoulder to calm him down. The thing that their grandfather would've been with them if Tej hadn't killed him mercilessly, was making their pain even more unbearable.

The shouts of the ugly monster went unheard as the police dragged him away.

Shivaay looked at the man infront of him who would finally get justice.

Tej had always been a monster, a cruel person to everyone other than himself. He not only wronged his own father, but also destroyed this man's whole life.

Shivaay looked at him, now trying to hold his tears that he finally got justice for his beloved wife.

"She must be very happy today, watching you from up there."

Om said to him and he smiled and nodded, tears still blinding his vision of both the brothers.

Their efforts finally paid off. The huge drama from loosing their property to Tej to bribing Tej's security persons and from the typical insane old man telling future to the enactment of an avenging soul, everything paid off.

Tej was finally out of their lives forever. He was no more there to eclipse their lives. In an hour or so, he will get the good news of him being out of their lives for once and for all.

Shivaay couldn't be happier. He is still moaning the death of his grandfather at the hands of that cruel monster, but he had atleast managed to get justice for him.

No, he's not talking about the punishment court would give Tej. He was talking about his death that would engulf him in a few minutes. He might get a call any moment now.

This mansion, this house, that his grandfather built not only with brick and concrete but with his sweat and blood and not to forget, with love. This mansion didn't look like home today. Because that monster's touch, the smell of his deeds was still lingering in the air.

He went to the storeroom, followed by Om. The huge portrait of his beloved grandfather that once adorned the wall beside the temple in the hall, was lying in a corner. He picked it up, brought out of the storeroom to get it cleaned and then hung it where it belonged.

He never knew why he was so restless since his Dadu's death until two months ago. Two months ago did he get to know that his Dadu didn't due to a natural death. His soul must have been devoid of peace and so he was restless too. His Dadu never had a cardiac arrest but he was murdered. A father who brought his son to the world was killed by the same son by choking him to death. How painful it must have been for his Dadu when that monster was stopping him from breathing by pushing the pillow on his nose.

He still wished he was there to save his old friend, his Dadu, his father and his mentor. He had not only lost his grandfather but he had lost his God, the one who was the light in his dark life.

Lighting the diya infront of the portrait, he stood there, watching the calmness in his Dadu's face. The same calmness he could feel within himself today.

I realised one more thing today, I can't write vulgar sexual scenes even if I want to.

And any guesses who 'HE' is?
