"Congratulations Girl" Jethro said and pulled me into a warm hug.

You can guess what just happened! I won the case.

"This calls for a celebration mannn" Jacinta remarked

My phone beeped and it was Phil Calling

"There's a meeting today, Endeavor to be there" Chief said and walked inside the office building.

"yes sir " I replied and watched him leave.

I stood for a while checking my cell phone before finally going in.

"I believe E. R Estates in Kwara is in need of these amenities. I also talked about building a clinic there, but nobody said anything. Mr Anidubge, what do you think?

"Philip! The last voice called bringing me out of my thoughts.

"yes, sorry go on. I'm here"

"He asked you a question Philip, Where's your mind? Chief asked

"I'm sorry Chief, I just got distracted" I replied "Please Mr Collins, what was that again?

"I was asking what your opinion was in this matter. E.R Estates in Kwara State needing a Clinic and few other Amenities"

"Okay. So in our next meeting, I'll be showing us the Maps and all I have come up with. Until then, please all hands should be on the desk"

A short applause followed his statement and the meeting ended.
I walked back to my office and after gulping a bottle of cold water from my fridge, I sat down and checked my phone that vibrated.

I kept smiling at the images with thoughts of her legs wrapped around my waist filling my head.

I turned the phone and handed it to him.

He stared at the screen and I watched him smile. I was sure he didn't recognize it was Felicia from our childhood days. If he did, it would be cool but I'd rather prefer he didn't.
I'm being so keen on not wanting our past to come at us.

He was expected to get shocked because none of us had a serious love life, we just had our way with the ladies and move on.

FELICIA'S POV

Trust me, this outing is everything!
I wasn't sure of exactly where he'd take us, so I asked for a clue to know how I would dress. All he said was 'cool, free' and so I made use of those words very well.
My hair was tied up into a pony tail, with a very light makeup and my edges done.
I wore a blue jean trouser and a crop top, my type of Clothes.

Cool and free.

We arrived and he turned off his ignition and we came out of the car.

I was this sure I'd have never realized somewhere this beautiful was in Abuja.

"same thing I said when I first saw you" he said pecking me.

We got closer and with each turns, I smiled happily

"do you like fairground rides? He asked

"of courseeee" common let's get on the Ferris wheel" I screamed holding his hands, and dragging him along.

Two hours gone but it didn't feel like it. We had a ride on the rollercoaster, and I couldn't help but scream like a sixteen years old.

"I'm glad you're happy" he smiled

"jeez, my eyes are still turning" I said holding his dress

"you'll be fine. Hungry?

"for some ice cream, yess" I chuckled

We took our Ice cream and Pizza into one of the large marquees.

"Here" I said feeding him a spoon from my ice cream

"uhmmm, I'll still choose Chocolate anyway" he said licking his lips.

"ewww, Spent my entire teenage days trying to make you see life in Vanilla" I laughed

"so what are you spending your youthful days doing? He asked smirking

"Dont be a pervert! I fired

"blablablabla" I replied putting my fingers in my ear so as not to hear him blab.

"You're being a baby, stoppp" I laughed

I raised my brow looking at the man who was no longer being unserious.

He gave a nod

"I want to officially make you mine. My girl, and of course, My wife"

I swallowed the lump that formed in my throat and stared blankly. I looked at his eyes, and all shades of sincerity was what was staring right back at me.

Don't let them go unpunished

Princess's shaky voice kept ringing in my head.

I got home and after taking my bath and changing into my pyjamas, I sat in front of my laptop with my hands wedging my face.

I went to the folder where I had recovered pictures of Princess, approximately 278 pictures. I took a deep breath and used my to hands to scratch my hair in sudden frustration. I picked up my cell phone and called Jacinta.

"oh my Gooooooood, you don't mean it" she screamed

"I wouldn't call you if I didn't"

"I'm so happy for you, oh my Girl. This is so sweet"

"Jaycee can you come over to my place?

"Like now???

"This is 9pm. Uhmm, okay give me thirty minutes, I'll just get some files and clothes I'll sleep over"

"Thank you" I replied and hung up.

I waited still on my chair, eye fixed on the screen of my laptop. I wasn't sure how many pictures I had looked at, but I was definitely over 200.

"Why didn't you lock the door? Could've been anyone else" Jacinta said on arrival.

"I left it cause I called you" I replied still seated.

"So what's up, where's the drink or something? She asked looking around

"No drinks" I replied and turned around

"what's happening with you? You don't even look happy"

"There's nothing to be happy about"

"Philip just proposed. Jeez, the man you love just proposed" she blurted
