PHILIP'S POV

I told Kendrick I was going to make it to see the guys today so when I was done with the work at hand, I went to see them.

"So when are we going to meet this your girl" Kendrick asked

"uhmmmm,Soon guys soon" I replied

"Heard she's a hottie" Roger chirped

"Yes Yes,  you heard right" I replied with pride.

"But shey you know say that guy no go fit deliver, you for run this thing your self" Caleb said to Roger who was busy sniffing his cocaine.

"Ouargh Oughr ouarghh" Roger sniffed

"Guy answer me na,  how that parcel go take leave airport" Caleb fired impatiently at Roger.

"Relax,  no be hin first work be this,  Ahh" Roger said

"You have a deal?  I asked

"Yes,  Two hefty parcels to Arizona for a huge sexy amount" Caleb replied respiring smoke and sipping bourbon.

Just then my phone beeped and Felicia's name came on.

"Hey babe" She called

"Baby girl,  What's up? 

"Uhm, I'm driving and I'm close to your office want me to come around?

"Guy,  That Parcel suppose get back up make ee no cast for airport" Caleb said

"Who is that?  And where are you?  She asked

"Guy shh" I said turning to Caleb signaling him I was on a call.

"I'm actually out with my friends, but I could come over if you need me to"

"No, you shouldn't bother. I drove past already"

"so where's my girl heading to?  I asked

"To the market, I ran out of groceries"

"Oh I see"

"yup. I'll call you later,  shouldn't be driving and talking"

"Yes ma'am.  I love you" I said but the call already ended.

"Na she? Caleb asked as soon as I dropped the phone.

"yes na,  you no see the way he dey smile like mumu" Kendrick teased

"Chief's birthday is nextweek, you should bring her along" Caleb suggested

"True o. Chief dun dey old oo" Kendrick exclaimed

"Very soon,  na Will levels" Roger added Insensitively

"Jokes on you,  Abeg make e dey alive to continue him company" Caleb replied

FELICIA'S POV

The day ended with me on my bed with my laptop, my Jotter and my pen.
The call I had with Philip earlier today had filled me with curiosity and so,  I had been on my bed for close to an hour trying to figure out who could have been there.
I haven't met much of his friends because he claimed he's always busy and doesn't have the time to mingle out of his office.

I checked his social media with my fake accounts but none had any vital information. The parcel mentioned could only mean one thing and that was drugs.
I kept  on with my research till I saw a post he was tagged on.

Life na general market,  suspension dey,  people dey also pick two.

"Bloody bastard" I muttered underneath my breathe.

It was a picture of Roger, Caleb, Kendrick and my so called boyfriend.

I wasn't sure of whose voice I heard, it's been eight and almost hundred years ago.
The only thing I was sure of was that these guys have something fishy going on,  and my Boyfriend is aware of whatever business they've got going on.

Something to keep my head on.

PHILIP'S POV

I got home before 8pm, but I was so tired to go check up on my mom so I just went to my room. After running a bath and changing into my night clothes, I sat on my bed.
My phone buzzed and a reminder came on.

Drink a glass of water before bed.

I smiled at Felicia's way of making me cultivate a good habit.

"Phil?  My mother called opening the door, without knocking.

The door opened and I turned to the direction of the door and saw my mom with a tray.  The aroma of the food she was holding filled the air and I could  feel my mouth get wet.

"Here" she said dropping the food on a table.

"You returned late so I decided to bring it here because if I didn't,  you will decide to sleep on an empty stomach"

I smiled at her thoughtfulness.

"Mummy mummy,  thank you. My very own mummy mummy" I praised.

"Hehe, My own son that doesn't want to get married or bring any woman to me. I'll soon go, you know.  So get ready to be sleeping on empty stomach every night"

"ahh mummy" I laughed  "It's not like that na.  Infact, pick a day and I'll bring her home to see you"

She raised her eyebrow

"No I'm not joking ee.  And believe me you,  she's perfect.  You'll definitely love her"

"I hope so my dear, let me see her first" she said standing to her feet.

"That reminds me,  are you still leaving this week?

"yes, by weekend"

"The women church leader has been buzzing my phone since. You won't believe she said if I'm staying this long for just a visit,  then I'll use a year to do Omugwo when my son's wife gives birth" she said gently laughing.

"Hahahaha. Chiefs birthday is next week though" I said.

"I won't be able to attend but I believe you'll send my regards to him.  God will continue to bless him and he'll eat the fruit of his Labour" she prayed

"Amen o" I replied

Mom has been with me in Abuja for almost two months. I asked her to come for a vacation here so I could take care of her and be with her.  It's a good thing to say she has put on weight and she is looking fresher than she was on arrival.
