It was a cold, foggy, windy, and rainy morning in December, the month of celebrating the past year with your friends, the month of spending time with family, the month of enjoying time with relatives, the month of recollecting on the past, the month of unwrapping presents, the month of kindness, the month of a ton of things. 

At least, that's what Blocky thought.

Blocky was a jerk to some people, like Golf Ball, as she could be very annoying and selfish at times, or Match, who was more obsessed with her image than her attitude, which made her the target of several of Blocky's pranks.

Blocky could also be very considerate and kind to other people, like Pen, who he considering one of his best friends, Eraser, who he, also, considered to be one of his best friends, and, last but not least, Snowball, his best friend.

Blocky and Snowball spent a lot of time together doing several things. Sometimes they would just sit and chat, sometimes they would prepare pranks, other times they would be playing video games or watching a movie.

Even though the two of them were best friends, they thought differently, like every living, breathing thing that can think. For example, Snowball liked to exercise...a lot, probably to impress his friends or boost his ego. Blocky, on the other hand, already had some strength and he was just fine without exercising.

Another example is that Blocky was insanely social, spending almost every second of every day speaking to someone somewhere when he was awake and ready to enjoy the day. However, Snowball, on the other hand, was antisocial, and only preferred talking to his best friends and close friends, speaking to others only when necessary.

Blocky could be antisocial if he wanted to though.

Pen and Eraser would spend a lot of time together doing a variety of things depending on the day. Sometimes they would sit and talk to each other for hours on end, laughing and (sometimes) sobbing on each other, sometimes they would help with Blocky's pranks or mess with GB, other times they would play video games or watch a movie.

Even though the two of them were best friends, they thought differently, like every living, breathing thing that can think. For example, Pen loved writing...a lot, probably trying to start a writing career or probably just to write about his feelings. Eraser, on the other hand, did not like writing, but, if he wanted to or was asked to, could.

Another example is that Pen preferred to be nice to people, kind of like Leafy, considering that, if he needed help, he could easily turn to someone and ask for help without having to deal with any issues, unless that person is Golf Ball, as Golf Ball is the person his friends make fun of the most, sometimes getting him involved. Even though Pen has apologized to her repeatedly, without Golf Ball or anyone else asking, she still holds a small grudge.

Eraser didn't care that much about being nice, only being nice to those he considering cool or friendly, which means that Match, Pencil, Golf Ball, and Flower were the main people who hated him. Eraser wasn't misogynistic, it's just a coincidence that all four of them are female.

Eraser could be nice if he wanted to though.

These four people, even though they thought differently and sometimes argued with each other, they were still best friends with one another, even after a full decade of shenanigans, even though Blocky left for a year to compete on BFB-post spilt while the others went to compete on TPOT, even though Snowball hung out with them less during BFB-pre split. Even with all of this, they're best friends.

Which is why Blocky and Snowball found out pretty quickly that Eraser had a crush on Pen and Pen had a massive crush on Eraser. Eraser told Blocky while Pen told Snowball, not knowing of the other's crush.

Blocky and Snowball started getting ideas, wondering how they could get the two to date. They would be in the wrong to do this is they had a crush on each other for only a short while, but both of them knew that Pen has had a crush on Eraser for at least 3 years, while Eraser has had a crush on Pen for at least 1.

These four people, even though they thought differently and sometimes argued with each other, they were still best friends with one another, even after a full decade of shenanigans, even though Blocky left for a year, even though Snowball hung out with them less during some periods of time. Somehow, they remained to stay best friends throughout all of this.

Which is why Pen and Eraser found out pretty quickly that Blocky had a massive crush on Snowball and Snowball had a crush on Blocky. Blocky had told Eraser and Snowball told Pen, considering that Eraser had told Blocky his secret and Pen told Snowball his. They had no idea of the other's crush.

Pen and Eraser started getting ideas, wondering how they could force the two into a relationship, which would be wrong to do if they only started developing a crush on each other, but both of them knew that Blocky has had his crush on Snowball for at least 2 years, while Snowball has had his crush on Blocky for about 1 and a half.

Blocky and Snowball decided to force the two lovebirds on a blind date, hoping that it would get the two to start the relationship, hoping that the two had forgotten that they had told Blocky/Snowball their crush.

Pen and Eraser decided to reveal Blocky's/Snowball's diary to Snowball/Blocky, hoping that it would be the start of a beautiful relationship, hoping that the two had forgotten that they had told Pen/Eraser who their crush was.

Both sides needed to hope that the other had bad memories. Pen had remembered, in fact, the exact date, time, location, everything when he told Snowball his crush. Eraser, however, hadn't remembered the conversation, considering he had so much fun in that year and a half. Blocky and Snowball, considering they each had interesting experiences during the years, forget about the conversation.

Pen only remembered the date considering he wrote it down in Diary 278, which he had kept isolated from the others, considering that was the first one he got...rather sexual, but he wasn't about to let Blocky, Snowball, and/or (especially) Eraser, who was the target of almost all of those sexual related stuff.

Eraser and Pen decided to go into Blocky's room when he was away, finding what they were looking for almost immediately, considering Blocky had kept it under his bed, which, considering Blocky's expert finding skills, was a stupid decision to make. Maybe he wanted it to be found. Maybe he wanted Eraser and Pen to find it. Maybe he wanted Snowball to find it.

Maybe.

Eraser and Pen then went to Snowball's room when he was away, finding what they were looking for in a couple of minutes. Snowball had obviously not wanted anyone (especially Blocky) to find the diary.

Snowball had hidden it in his closet in a corner, which was hard to spot considering the closet was entirely brown in color. Snowball had, somehow, made a smarter decision than Blocky, which, although it wasn't a first, was a rarity.

Maybe Snowball wanted to forget about his feelings. Maybe Snowball wanted Blocky to find it, considering Blocky would've easily spotted it in the corner. Maybe Snowball was planning on destroying it, but had forgotten, considering Snowball didn't exactly have the best memory or eyesight.

Eraser and Pen were ready to start their planning, not knowing that Blocky and Snowball were also preparing on how they would set up their dinner date. 

While Eraser and Pen were away, earlier in the morning, Blocky grabbed Pen's diary. He grabbed the one that was separated from the rest, curious on why it was separated. Blocky also grabbed Diary 160 and 306, surprised that Pen had over 500 diaries.

Blocky also grabbed Eraser's diary, considering Snowball had trouble finding it. The diary was hidden in a random box on the floor, which was filled with DVDs from the 2000's and 2010's. Blocky was curious on why the diary was labeled, "Diary 11/13/19". Could there be more?

Maybe Eraser got rid of the other ones. Maybe the other diaries are hiding somewhere. Maybe Eraser hid the diaries in plain sight. 

Maybe Pen wanted Eraser to find his diary bins. Maybe Pen was hoping that Eraser would investigate the bins labeled "DO NOT OPEN PLS". Maybe Pen was just stupid and didn't think anyone would open it.

Maybe.

Eventually, the two teams retreated to their rooms, not knowing of the other's plans, and fell asleep. Eraser in Pen's room and Blocky in Snowball's room, as both rooms either had king beds, considering Eraser and Blocky didn't want multiple people sleeping on their bed, considering that they thought they would never be in a relationship.

After 10 minutes of struggling, Eraser and Pen fell asleep. After 1 hour of goofing off and struggling, Blocky fell asleep. Snowball decided to stay up for an extra hour before falling asleep. He fell asleep at exactly 11:59:59PM.
