The following days after, Yoon Min slept for so many days without waking up even for a second. She was almost in Heaven. No mission, no task, no pressure, no danger, no Ozul Vex. She could sleep for years if that was even possible. Being tired after everything, it was acceptable for her condition. Sleeping, eating, having fun with her friends gave her energy to get on her feet again. She began working as a guardian after she was better and healed completely.

Currently, she was in the cafeteria with her friends and chatting with them. Boy, she didn't know they missed her so much. And she did too.

"Koushi seems to be very busy with the party. She hardly spends time with me." Yian glared at her best friend.

Koushi put her glasses down and replied, "Look, this is the very first time Princess Aereum offered me to organise the whole party. And I am More than honored. I need to focus on this. Party is my life~"

Yian scoffed slightly before slurping down her smoothie.

"Okay, I need to decide the theme. What should it be?"

Sung Rin added her choice, "I like Fire and Ice theme! You know, men can wear red or orange while the women can wear white or sky blue. Snowflakes, flames will be added everywhere. Also--"

Before she could add more, Koushi put her finger on her lip, "Not interesting."

"Go with Black and White." Myeong Jo isn't always interested in these stuffs but she still gave a tiny opinion.

"We are not having a wedding here, Min."

Finally, Yoon Min put her drink down and said, "How about Under The Night Sky Theme? Cloth drapes in blue, purple and silver. Large poly cared sparkling moons, blue and silver sparkling stars, moon faces, and moon screens, twinkle star cloth, large rooftop doorway, twinkling lights, mirror balls...It's related to our universe after all."

Koushi stared at her for a moment before raising her thumbs up, "You are a genius!"

"Men can wear Black or Dark Blue. And us, women can wear either Purple or White Silver. Good?"

The other three nodded with a smile.

"Are we gonna add disco music? I am up for it" Yian raised her arm.

"We will have all kinds of music. Leave that to me."

"And dance?"

"I decided we will start with the chosen guardians first. They will pick a partner and dance first. After then, the others may join." Koushi really was an expert.

Yoon Min made a surprising objection, "W-what? I don't know how to d-dance."

The other 4 girls glared at her for a long time, giving her the creepiest shivers ever. Ooops...

"Song Yoon Min, I am working my butt off on this party. And I will not tolerate it if you dance on the floor like a babbling baboon." Koushi threw her fist on the table.

"Hey, it's not my fault!" she defended.

"Come on, who can't dance? Well yeah, some do dance like monkeys. But I doubt you are like them." Sung Rin put her arm around her friend's shoulder.

She replied, "Thanks, Sung Rin. Surely you know about dancing since you have a romantic boyfriend to practice with."

"Actually, I broke up with Taehyung..."

Yoon Min was the only one who gasped in surprise. The others remained calm as if they knew it from the start. Sung Rin smiled embarrassedly and lowered her head.

"Why am I the last one to know about this? What happened?" Yoon Min asked, offended she had no idea about their breakup.

Sung Rin then began explaining, "W-well, there wasn't much to say. He kinda didn't like me fan-girling Jungkook so...I shouted at him and things turned upside down and the next thing I know, I broke up."

Yoon Min was quiet some time. Then she mumbled, "You broke up because of a silly reason?"

"Yeah...but we are still friends."

Sung Rin tried to cover her breakup topic so she changed it to another, "Speaking of which, Myeong Jo and Jimin are finally getting along!"

Yoon Min again gasped in surprise as she turned to her left to look at her other friend. "Really? Why don't I know about it!"

"You were out of the universe more than two weeks, Yoon Min. You are bound not to know." Yian added.

Myeong Jo suddenly being the centre of the topic had no idea how to react. So she kept her eyes glued on the book as if she didn't hear them at all.

"Stop reading and tell me what happened!" Yoon Min slapped her arm.

Hissing at her for a few seconds, she then said monotonously, "He was begging me a lot so I thought to give him a chance. He is not bad, to be honest."

"As if we don't know that."

Yoon Min suddenly remembered an important matter among their girly talks. She slapped her own forehead for forgetting about it. Some things shouldn't be forgotten at all.

She asked her friends after looking around to check if that person is here or not, "Hey guys, can I ask you something?"

"What?"

She sighed because she definitely knew she won't be hearing anything good.

"Do you know anything about Jin Seonbae's past?"

Koushi was the first one to react, "Oh yes, I heard about it. Man, that Ozul literally annouced it to the whole space!"

Myeong Jo then answered, putting her book down, "If you are talking about his past then, no. No one knows about it. But I do know a story behind it."

The other 4 girls scooted closer to the round table and kept their ears fixed on her side.

"It was a long time ago. Senior Guardian Jin was just like us then. Not exactly a newbie but maybe he was a guardian for 9-10 months then. So back then, he didn't save a human."

Sung Rin interrupted, "Didn't?"

"Surprising, right? He intentionally didn't save a woman."

"Guardians cannot save every human. And it is completely alright. But Kim Seok Jin literally didn't save a woman."

"Why?" Yoon Min questioned.

Myeong Jo continued, "That's the point. We don't know about that! Princess Aereum was very mad that time. We got to know that he was punished by her severely. More like, we knew she gave him the worst penalty but what we didn't know was what was it."

Yian raised her head, "So you are saying that Jin Seonbae received a punishment from the Princess because he intentionally didn't save a human?"

"Yes. And I'm guessing making him recall his past was the punishment." Myeong Jo nodded.

"Some say, he looked dreadful for months. He was a living zombie. His friends tried helping him, consoling him but no use. Everyone was curious about his penalty. Now we know what it was."

Their table fell into silence as all of them became sad hearing about their senior's past. He was always so happy and confident. Who knew he had gone through a time worse than death?

"But it isn't fair. He was still young. No guardians should know their pasts until they are fully ready. Senior Guardian Jin must have been devastated." Sung Rin was sympathetic.

Myeong Jo replied to her, "This was his punishment, making him remember his life. This is the worst, merciless punishment any guardian could get for not saving a human intentionally."

Yoon Min didn't know what she should say or feel. Surely Seokjin wasn't treated fairly. It was a wonder how he had been managing to live every day afterwards. And he smiled, laughed, studied, taught as if nothing ever happened to him. Is he that strong? And how can Princess Aereum do this to him? She literally destroyed him.

"Miss~"

Ella came inside the cafeteria and called Yoon Min with her sweet voice.

That day, Ella said she had already gone out of the castle with the others. So basically, Yoon Min overreacted.

"Yes, Ella?" she looked at her.

"Princess Aereum has called you in her office."

Yian gasped and covered her mouth in surprise. She elbowed her friend with a teasing look, "Someone's gonna get a wish come true~"

"Oh shut up, Lee Yian." Yoon Min glared at her before getting up from her chair. She then followed Ella to the office.

Yoon Min just reached the long hallway. She was walking her way towards there when she saw the office door at the end being opened and Seokjin came out. Woah, he was called too.

"Jin Seonbae!" she greeted him with a wide smile.

He smiled back and both of them stopped for a minute to talk.

"I'm guessing she called you for your wish?"

He nodded shyly as he rubbed the back of his neck.

"What did you ask for?" Yoon Min being the adorable one asked with a grin.

Seeing her being nosy, he tapped her forehead with his index finger before saying, "Secret."

Seokjin walked pass her while she kept herself busy in rubbng her forehead.

Smiling to herself, she then knocked on the door three times. Upon getting the permission, she entered gently and closed the door.

"Ah, Guardian Song Yoon Min. Are you doing well?" Princess Aereum asked her quite friendly. Secretary Baekhyun was standing beside her.

Yoon Min nodded, "Yes, Princess. I am fine now."

"You already must know why I called you here. Guardian Beomgyu and Senior Guardian Jin has asked for their wishes. Now it is your time. Tell me, is there anything you want?"

She smiled shyly as opportunities like this come once in a while. She was lucky to be someone who got a chance like this. Putting her arms behind her back waist, she hesitated before saying,

"I suddenly don't know what I should wish for."

Princess Aereum chuckled at her comment and said, "You can wish for anything, Guardian."

After thinking for some time, Yoon Min finally came up with something. Half of her mind told her not to ask for it while the other half urged her to give it a try. Deep inside, she knew it was wrong but she couldn't help her curiosity no matter what.

"There's no chance if I wish to know about my l-life, right?"

Princess Aereum was taken aback hearing her. She was wearing a modest smile but it vanished slowly. Baekhyun widened his eyes and he dropped his jaw unintentionally. How can someone ask for this?!

"Guardian Song Yoon Min, I'm afraid you are forbidden to learn about your past until time lets you." The Princess answered wisely.

Yoon Min smiled sadly as she expected it beforehand. Yet the little hope in her shattered piece by piece. "I understand."

"You can ask for anything else except for this." Aereum knew she was disappointed so she tried to lighten her.

Yoon Min then said, her voice was low, "If you allow me, I would like to keep this grateful chance for later."

The princess thought for some time. She already turned down one wish of hers so basically, it would be unthoughtful to say no to this one. And she found Yoon Min clever too. Who knows she might need this wish for later?

"As you wish, Song Yoon Min."

She smiled and bowed at them with gratitude. Then she came out of the office room with a disappointed, broken heart unlike the other two who were brightening up in happiness for getting their wishes come true.
