Yoon Min gasped at the sight in front of her, her hands automatically reached her shocked mouth. A ball of flare came out of nowhere and was going right towards Seokjin who was unprepared for anything.

Well, that's what the two guardians thought.

All happened within a second. The ball was about to be shot at Seokjin but he already defended himself by aiming an Ice Shooter and shot right at it. The ball of flare got froze in place and was destroyed in pieces.

Beomgyu, seeing Seokjin protecting himself, he looked at the direction where it came from. He wished he didn't look.

More than ten small spaceships were flying towards their ship, guns loaded also devils working under Ozul Vex. Each spaceship was owned by a devil. It was a clear attack out of the bule.

"They weren't supposed to know!" Yoon Min yelled in fear.

She took a hold of the handle again and began rotating it towards herself in the fastest way she can. The only thing that was in her head was to bring Seokjin inside their ship. She kept rotating it so fastly that he was being dragged towards their ship quickly. Beomgyu on the other hand, took two Ice Shooters in his hands and opened up a window beside the door. He aimed at those maniacs and just shot. Knowing shooting powerful ice flares won't fully kill them, they could at least be stopped for some time.

But the devils seemed to be prepared.

They shot a sharp edge of glass which pierced through the air and cut the tether that was holding Seokjin in a swift second. The tether got cut, causing Yoon Min to feel the handle easy and light to rotate all on a sudden. She looked back at him and gasped in shock again.

"Beomgyu!"

He didn't pay attention to her as he was busy shooting.

"CHOI BEOMGYU!"

He took a glace at her then back to Seokjin. His jaw dropped in shock too.

Seokjin on the other hand suddenly saw his tether being cut. He was now on his own, floating in the dangerous space without any control of anything. He had no time to react or get shock. It felt like he was gonna die Finally.

"No!" Yoon Min let go of the handle and took the suit again from the floor. She acted very quickly, wore the suit again, preparing herself to go out.

She looked at Beomgyu and rambled, "Beomgyu! I'll go get him. You make sure to stop those ships at any cost!"

Before he could stop her or say something, she slid open the glass door, wearing her safety helmet and jumped. With another tether tied to her waist belt, she now began floating towards her crew mate as fast as she can.

The devils began shooting at them without any delay. Hundreds of fire balls were shot at them. Thanks to intelligent Beomgyu, he wasn't giving a single devil a chance to fire at all. He was blocking their smallships and saucers with the ice shooters, gritting his teeth tightly, fearing even if one fire ball was missed by his eyes, his crew mate and the girl he liked will die in front of him.

On the other hand, Seokjin was clueless of things going around him. His vision became blurry and noises didn't sound through his ears. He felt like he was turning into blind and deaf both. All he knew was his right hand was holding the wand tightly. The remaining organs were slowing turning numb. The tethar being cut made him too shocked. Too shocked that he was unable to keep himself straight. He closed his eyes out of fear, biting his lips and regretting for coming here. He had no idea two people were trying their best to save him.

"Seonbae!"

"Seonbae!!"

"Kim Seok Jin!!"

"Aish, Jin Seonbae! Come to your senses!"

A sudden ping sound rang in his ears and he opened his eyes randomly. Seokjin's mouth parted away in utter surprise, seeing his junior guardian almost in front of him. She was waving both her hands and gesturing him to hold her arm. Seokjin became aware of the situation and immediately grabbed her arm. Yoon Min held him tightly and pulled him towards her.

Beomgyu saw them close to each other so he with great efforts held the handle by his left hand and began rotating it, while keeping his right hand busy shooting the devils. He was the one doing all the hardest works. Gritting his teeth, shouting in exhaustion and pain time to time was a scene Yoon Min will never get to see. The veins in his arms were popping up, sweats dropping down from his forehead as he never stopped both his hands.

Meanwhile, Yoon Min and Seok Jin were both being dragged towards their ship holding on to each other. Some of the devils came out of their ships and marched towards them like hungry zombies. So Yoon Min pulled out her ice shooter and shot at them without any knowledge if she was shooting rightly or wrongly.

Turned out, she killed at least two or three devils.

The devils were retreating slowly, some flying away with their ships, but some still shooting many flares at them.

"Get inside FAST!" Beomgyu yelled at the top of his lungs, unable to do two hard things together.

Seokjin got inside the ship and held Yoon Min by her arms to pull her inside.

That's when, a ball of a dangerously powerful force came from the opposite direction and speeded towards the ship with deadly strength.

Nobody saw it since all of them thought the devils were at another direction.

Seokjin was about to pull Yoon Min inside but that's the second, he saw the ball. His eyes grew all wide and air escaped his lips. He knew it was aimed at her only. He yelled her name once and took the great attempt to pull her whole being inside and shut the door in all one swift move.

But unfortunately, the powerful ball hit right at Yoon Min's head from the back, causing a great earthquake around the space, also causing Seok Jin to let go of her due to the extreme attack.

Yoon Min splited away from them, completely losing her conscious.

The Ice Shooters from Beomgyu's hands eventually fell down as he shouted her name as loud as possible and tears formed his eyes. His throat formed stones as he looked outside of the door, watching her floating away helplessly. He was about to jump out of the ship to rescue her without wearing any protection suit, helmet or any conscience. But he felt himself being pushed back and instead Seokjin jumped again into the space.

Beomgyu looked at the ships going away as the fight was over. He then looked at the opposite side. The thing that surprised him was there was nothing. Nothing at all. Questions grew in his mind. Who shot from that side?

"Choi Beomgyu!"

He was knocked to reality as he shook his thoughts off and looked down to see Seokjin holding an unconscious girl by her waist and holding on the tether. He immediately pulled both of them back inside the ship and shut the door close finally.

He turned to Seokjin who had Yoon Min inside his embrace. He looked back at him and softly said something that made Beomgyu feel the greatest relief he could ever feel.

"She's breathing."

"What do you mean I cannot see her?" Seokjin's deadly stare wasn't something anyone will be fond of.

Beomgyu intentionally closed the door of her room and stood in front of it, blocking him. He raised his eyebrows, "Need to remind what you did back there?"

Seokjin licked his lips in frustration and began arguing, "I couldn't help it, Choi Beomgyu!"

"You let her go when she was attacked! You almost killed her!"

"The attack almost got me as well! I was near to her at that moment, and that powerful ball of something made the whole ship tremble. I didn't want to let her go but she slipped away from my grip due to the shocking shudder!"

Beomgyu raised his voice, "No matter what, you should've sone something! You could've pulled her back inside! You had enough time to do that, Kim Seok Jin! She's been laying on that bed for days and we don't know a damn single thing about her health. She shows mo sign of recovering, No movements. Damn I don't even know if she's dead or alive!"

Seokjin retorded, "Keeping me out of her room is the solution then?"

"No. But it keeps Me in peace that you are not around her."

He couldn't keep his anger and urges inside anymore. Seokjin bursted into raging storm of tears and yelled, "Look, I'm sorry! Okay? I know I did wrong! I should've pulled her back in time when I wasted all time in shock. You cannot keep me away from her like this. I want to see her too!" he eventually fell weak in front of him.

Beomgyu showed no mercy or pity on him. He was beyond worried for Yoon Min who didn't wake up since the last few days. The attack got her pretty bad. It was shot only at her as if she was meant to be killed. He blamed Seokkin for everything. The battle, the fight, the attack all made him loose his mind, as a result, he was being cruel now. He knew even if he was in Seokjin's shoes, he couldn't had saved her due to the lack of time.

But he had to blame someone for her miseries.

"Forgive me, Senior Guardian Seok Jin. But I cannot let you meet her until I think it's right."

Saying heartlessly like that, he went inside Yoon Min's room again after locking the door. Kim Seok Jin had nothing to do. Nothing at all. Except for crying his eyes out and dying to meet the girl who had rescued him and the one he failed to rescue.
