MADELINE POV

"I am going to miss you kids so much." Grace was on the verge of tears.

"It's going to be ok Grace, go and have fun with Ian. You two deserve this vacation."

I knew how hard Ian and Grace had been working in the company lately so a vacation wouldn't hurt.

"I agree with Madeline, you two go and have fun. Don't worry about us we will be just fine." Grayson hugged his parents one last time.

It was cute to see him act so sweet and caring. Whenever it came down to his parents, it was like he was a completely different person.

"Oh, I almost forgot." I grabbed an envelope from my bag and handed it to Grace.

"This is for my mother. If you could send this to her address like you always do I would greatly appreciate it."

Grace never told me where my mother lived. She had said that my mother wanted to keep it a secret from me for the time being. Apparently she was constantly moving so there was no need for me to bother figuring out where she lived.

"Of course Maddie, I will make sure your mother receives this." She smiled at me.

I hugged Ian and soon the lovely couple left for their romantic getaway.

Before I knew it Grayson was already gone and Lisa was waiting outside for me.

"Where are Grace and Ian going?"

"They're going on a trip to Europe for their anniversary."

"Wow that's so cute!"

"I know right, if only we could find ourselves a nice guy to take us on a romantic getaway."

"I agree, but it would still be cool to have a girls trip."

"Now that's more like it and well, more likely to happen. Although..."

"Omg! Did you meet someone?"

"Well kinda!"

"Wait where?"

"It was yesterday at the bookstore I work at. He was a customer looking for a cookbook for his mom. I mean how cute is that!"

"Aww he sounds like a sweetheart. But is he hot?"

"Of course he is Lisa, if not I wouldn't be talking to you about him."

"Well how does he look? Describe him to me."

"He's tall and very well built. His smile is so mesmerizing it makes your heart melt."

"Wow girl you really are smitten. I need to meet this guy."

I really liked this guy but sadly I didn't even know his name. I was probably never going to see him again.

We finally arrived at school and headed inside.

"I almost forgot to ask, would it be ok if I stayed over at your house today? Just for tonight. It's just that Grayson asked me to get out of the house for the day so that he can get comfortable with Annabelle. If you know what I mean."

"Gross! Well in that case girl you can stay in my house for as long as you want."

I was glad I would be able to stay with Lisa tonight. We hadn't had a sleepover in the longest time and I really missed that. A cute romantic comedy or a horror film was a must with lots of popcorn and snacks. Then we would spend some time talking about the hottest boys in school and finally fall asleep after a food coma.

We walked to our English class and sat down on our desks.

I grabbed my notebook for notes and saw Grayson walk in with his girlfriend. We made eye contact and I immediately looked away. I was still thinking about yesterday and how much of an asshole he was.

Everyone sat in their seats and the teacher finally walked in. People began to talk as soon as we saw a mysterious male walk in.

"Good morning everyone! We have a new student in our class who has just come from Boston. Make sure to make him feel welcome."

This guy was the hottie I met yesterday at the bookstore.

"Hello everyone my name is Dylan, nice to meet you all."

So the hotties name was Dylan. Even his name was attractive.

"Let's find you a seat, how about you sit over there next to Madeline. Madeline, raise your hand so Dylan knows who you are."

My heart was beating so fast. The new guy was going to sit next to me! I raised my hand and waved at him. As he came closer he waved back.

The class went as usual. I occasionally caught Dylan staring at me which made me happy.

A soon as class was over I began to talk to the hottie next to me.

"So your name is Dylan?"

"Yes, and yours is Madeline right?"

He gave me that same sweet smile from yesterday.

"I am glad I know at least one person at this school."

"Well if you need any help with getting to your other classes then let me know. I can also show you around the school if you would like."

"I would really appreciate that."

"What's your next class?"

He grabbed his school schedule from his bag and began to read the name of the teacher and the class.

"I have calculus with Mr. Porter in room 317."

"Oh that's great! My physics class is just next door, so we can go together."

I looked back to find Lisa and gave her the "ok" cue to come over. It was a thing that Lisa and I did. We gave each other space whenever we talked to a guy we were crushing on. Although it happened more with Lisa than I, for some reason it seemed like every guy I liked ran away from me.

As we walked upstairs to our next class I introduced Lisa to Dylan.

"This is my best friend Lisa. Lisa this is Dylan, a guy I met at my workplace yesterday."

"Nice to meet you." They shook hands.

"Well you aren't much of a stranger to me. Maddie told me all about you this morning."

I looked over at Lisa with a WTF are you doing face! Lisa simply laughed it off and continued to embarrass me.

Luckily we arrived in front of room 317.

"Well we won't bother you any longer. See you during break."

"I'll see you Maddie." He said with a smile before heading inside.

Lisa and I walked inside our physics class and sat next to each other.

"OMG he called you Maddie instead of Madeline!"

"I know!" Lisa and I were squealing with excitement.

Maybe I would finally have a chance with a guy. I had never had a boyfriend before so this whole experience was very exciting.

The class started and we got to work.

School was finally over and Lisa, Dylan, and I were heading out of the building.

"I am heading to the car first ok." Lisa whispered in my ear.

I thanked her and continued to walk with Dylan.

"Can I get your phone number? You know just in case I need any more help with school stuff or a book recommendation." He gave me a wink as soon as he finished that sentence.

It made me smile. I liked how he used school as an excuse to get my number but I didn't mind.

We exchanged phone numbers and Dylan and I went our separate ways. I walked towards Lisa's car and got in.

"Wow girl I think that boy likes you!"

My cheeks were red just thinking about it. Did he really like me?

"I can't wait for you two to date! What would be your ship name? How does 'Madylan' sound, wait that sounds weird. How about..."

I began to laugh hysterically making Lisa stop talking and laugh with me.

"That ship name is horrible."

Suddenly we heard a phone ring and I realized it was my phone. I grabbed it and answered it.

"Hello Maddie, I completely forgot to tell you that I left the spare keys to the mansion in Grayson's room. I told him to give you one of the keys but you know how forgetful he is."

I recognize the voice, it was Grace.

"Ok I will go to his room and grab the spare key. But aren't the maids going to be in the house?"

"No, they have the whole month off as a vacation including the chauffeur and chef. I thought it would be good for them to take some time off. That way both you and Grayson can really use this opportunity to spend more time together and get to know each other. I know you don't get along very well but you can use this time to cook meals and go out. You are also more than welcome to use my car to get to school or work."

This all just got even worse. I was really going to be alone with Grayson. I doubt he would want to cook meals or go out and have fun. He was always grumpy whenever I was around.

"Ok I guess we can try that out then."

"I hope you two can get close. I know you got along very well with Jack so maybe you can be that close with Grayson someday. I just want my kids to get along."

I appreciated Grace's attempt at getting us to become closer but I felt it would be impossible.

"The chef is still in the mansion as of now. I told him he could leave as soon as you get home, so no need to worry about trying to get in the house. Well then I will hang up now, we are just about to board the plane."

"Alrighty then, have a safe trip!"

I then hanged up.

"What's wrong?"

"Can you take me to my house? I forgot to grab some of my stuff for this sleepover and Grace just told me to grab the house key."

"Yeah of course, no worries"

We drove to the Lockwood estate and finally arrived outside the mansion.

"I won't take long."

"No worries girl, take your time."

I ran inside the house and ended up bumping into the chef.

"Hello miss Madeline. I have made dinner for both you and Grayson. I will be heading home now."

"Thank you Mr. Philips, have a nice vacation." I said to him before he left.

I walked upstairs and went inside my bedroom. I grabbed my black bag with some of my belongings and then headed over to Grayson's room.

I began to look all over his room for the spare key Grace mentioned to me about. I looked on his desk to see if it was there but I couldn't find it. I went over to his side table and found it there with a note.

I decided to grab one and put it in my pocket. It was then that I heard noises downstairs.

It was probably Grayson and Annabelle. Oh fuck! What do I do? If Grayson saw me here then he would be furious! He would surely make my life a living hell this whole month.

I looked outside the door and realized they were walking up the stairs. I closed the bedroom door and ran inside the closet as fast as I could. I made sure to open and close the sliding door very gently to make little noise. Luckily I was able to hide before Grayson and Annabelle found out I was in the house.

Finally they made it inside the room. I could hear them kissing and making out. It was quite honestly disgusting.

Luckily I had my phone in my pocket so I could text Lisa to help me out.

"Please Grayson, I want you now!" Anabelle sounded desperate for Grayson and I was really hoping he wouldn't give her what she wanted. I didn't really feel like hearing Annabelle getting fucked by my supposed brother.

I needed to do something and fast. There was no way I was gonna stay in this closet all day.

"Oh God yes touch me just like that!" They were really getting down to it.

My poor virgin ears! I could hear Annabelle's loud moans.

I quickly began texting Lisa to come and save me. As I wrote to her and explained the situation things got even steamier with the gross couple in front of me.

"Please, I can't wait any longer!"

It was then that I heard a loud moan come from Annabelle's mouth that I knew they were truly becoming one.

"Oh yes! It feels amazing!" She yelled.

I finally sent the message and quickly covered my ears.

Sadly I could still hear them. I was done! Nope like hell was I going to stay till the end. I was going to run out of there and never come back. Surely Lisa wouldn't mind me staying in her home for a while.

Before I ran out I heard something I was not expecting. Something that would change my life forever.

"I love you Madeline."
