Who Dared to Kill The Godfather

Suddenly, Mateo's voice pierced the heavy air, brimming with concern and worry. "Where is your Uncle? Where is Uncle Felipe?" The lines of worry etched deeply on their faces, a frown creasing their brows.

The absence of their uncle cast a shadow of fear. Had the ruthless enemy snuffed out his life as well?

Suddenly, a knock sounded on the door and Ana-Maria, their aunt, entered. Her eyes were swollen, and the sight broke their hearts.

This woman had taken care of Alejandro since he was twelve. She was his father's younger sister and had no children to date.

Mateo was a few months older than Alejandro and was brought into the Mendoza Villa when he was only fourteen. He was an orphan with marks and wounds, a starving child who wanted a place to belong.

He had seen his first murder around that age and the killer was about to shoot him too. He thought his life was about to end, but a gunshot saved his life.

The woman standing in front of them now had been the one to shoot the man, saving him. She brought Mateo to the Villa and, since then, she took care of him and Alejandro like they were her sons.

Similarly, Diego, the man whose life had been tragically cut short, had assumed the role of a father figure to Mateo.

Alejandro only wanted to behead his father's killer. However, Mateo's vengeance burned with a different intensity.

He sought to prolong the torment, to extract every ounce of suffering from the killer until he fell to his knees, praying for their death.

"Felipe is still with the Blue Bird organization in Mexico. He will be back after a few days. I couldn't tell him the news. I can't believe my older brother is no more," she almost fell to the ground and Mateo hurried to keep her from falling.

"We will punish his killer," Mateo assured her, but she shook her head.

"That wouldn't bring him back, would it? Your father is lying cold at the hospital, and we still don't know why Carlos did that."

Another knock echoed through the room, and Natalia, her face stern and resolute, entered. She bowed respectfully to them, her presence carrying an air of authority and hidden secrets.

She was one of the retired assassins who was hiding away from her previous organization.

"I just got back from the hospital and Padrino is still alive. He's in a coma but still alive," Natalia's voice carried an almost robotic tone as she delivered the news.

A collective frown etched itself on everyone's face, a mixture of relief and concern intermingling.

"I had given the news to everyone that he was dead, including Felipe, your husband. We still haven't found the spy in this Villa. I was hoping to kill two birds with one stone. This news should only remain between these four walls. Your father is under intense watch, but we wouldn't want our enemies to know." Natalia explained, her words laden with a sense of caution.

"My husband isn't part of our enemies. He's a part of this familia!" Ana-Maria defended, but Natalia only glared at her.

"Fine! If that proves anything, I won't tell him," she assured them, and they all breathed a sigh of relief, happy he was alive.

"I knew that old man was too strong to be killed. A mere gunshot wouldn't be enough to end him," Alejandro murmured, and Mateo chuckled.

Just a few minutes ago, they were trembling with fear and rage.

"Oh, no. I got the gun wound," Natalia unzipped her leather jacket and showed them her bandaged abdomen. "Your father got the arrow wound." She continued while zipping her jacket.

"Arrow?" Alejandro's words escaped his mouth, his mind racing to grasp the significance of this revelation.

Mateo only eyed the woman suspiciously.

"I only know of two organizations that use arrows to kill. The Silent Quivers; either the male silent quiver or the female silent quiver. When I left, I heard rumors of a new assassin who matched my skill, and she was from the Morales Villa. My guess is she goes by the name Sofia Morales, the only daughter and child of Carlos Morales.

This fight could be between The Silent Quivers and me or someone hired them to eliminate your father," Natalia explained, her words causing the room to descend into a contemplative silence.

"Whether she was sent to target you or my father, I want that woman brought here. We'll leave you to torture her and find the truth.

If her father was involved in this, we'd kill her along with him, but if her father wasn't, we'd still kill her for shooting that arrow at my dad," Alejandro declared, a fierce annoyance burning in his eyes.

Natalia nodded in agreement, a subtle smirk playing at the corner of her lips, signaling her readiness to take action.

"But for now, Mateo, order the boys to fill the gallons in the warehouse with Kerosene. We are burning one of his clubhouses down. We must send him a warning. If he tries anything else while Papa is still in a coma, we'll burn his villa down," Alejandro concluded, his eyes burning red as he talked about the fire.
