This is definitely one of the most boring party Kabir had ever attended. Sunny disappeared the moment Arjun arrived and Vishal was too busy taking care of the guests to bother with him. Furthermore, because of his 'angry young man' image, everyone else was too afraid to interact with him.
Kabir sat by the bar and watched people dance as he took a sip out of his orange juice. Pathetic. He couldn't even drink alcohol. He pulled out his phone and contemplated texting Raina. But what if Raina was having a good time? Kabir decided against it and put his phone back into his pocket.
Suddenly, he spotted Sunny and Arjun walking towards him. As much as he hated that stepbrother of his, Kabir would rather tolerate his company than sit there bored out of his wits.
"You look bored," Sunny said as he plunked himself down on the stool next to Kabir. Arjun took the stool next to Sunny.
"And you two look like you're up to something," Kabir stated, matter of factly.
"We are," Sunny boasted.
"Wow," Kabir said, surprised. "You're not even going to deny it?"
Sunny then casted him a sly look.
"Wait a minute," Kabir suddenly realized. "You need my help!"
"Computerji, answer lock kiya jaaye (Mr. Computer lock the answer*)," Sunny joked. "Aur aap ki jawab... sahi hai! (And your answer... is correct!)"
*Amitabh Bachchan's famous line in KBC (Who Wants to be a Millionaire)
Arjun lets out a scoff.
"We don't need your help ok?" Arjun clarified. "We're storming the party downstairs and we're just asking you out of courtesy. Sunny thought it was a fantastic idea to bring back the act from his bachelor party."
"Does Vishal know about it?" Kabir asked.
"More or less," Sunny answered.
"More OR less?" Kabir probed.
"Err..." Sunny sputtered. "L...less."
"That usually means no," Kabir deciphered.
"Nevermind," Sunny sulked. "We get it, Arjun and I will do it ourselves."
"I didn't say that I'm not going to help," Kabir retorted. "In fact, I have a better idea. One that Vishal wouldn't mind doing and we won't end up sounding like textile companies."

After a few more songs, Di and Raina returned to the bar, reuniting with Ayesha and Tara.
"Raina jaanu (Raina my dear)," Di said excitedly. "I'm meant every word that I said about quiting your job. Kya dance, kya kamaal expressions aur kya body! (what a dance, what amazing expressions and what a body) Waah, waah, waah!"
"Thank you," Raina blushed. "But I really like my job."
"But seriously?" Ayesha asked. "Where did you learn to dance like that?"
"Farah Khan se," Raina said with a straight face.
The three women exchanged confused glances. Farah Khan?
"I'm joking," Raina told them. "My mom's a dance teacher in London. I guessed I picked up some things while watching her teach."
"So," Ayesha accused jokingly. "You were lying to us when you said you can't dance?"
"No I didn't," Raina defended. "I don't think I dance well. Despite my mom being a dance teacher, I never took up dancing."
"Well," Tara told Raina. "Now we know you're a fabulous dancer. Isn't she, Di?"
When there was no reply, the three of them realized that Di had suddenly gone missing.
"Di?" Ayesha called out.
However, before another word could be said, the electricity was cut off. The entire club was engulfed in total darkness. Murmurs of 'what happened' begun making its round around the club.
"I don't like this," Ayesha muttered.
"Neither do I," Tara agreed.
Suddenly, a single spot light was shone on where the DJ previously was. There was a man on the middle of the make shift stage but no one could make out his face as his back was facing everyone.
"Tara," the man said. "This one's for you."
That sounded like... Vishal?
O Chandralekha
Jab jab tujhko dekha
Aaye aisi feeling
First time tujhko dekha
The man turned around. It really was Vishal. Suddenly, Arjun and Sunny appeared next to Vishal, each on one side.
Vishal with Arjun and Sunny singing backup:
O Chandralekha
Jab jab tujhko dekha
Aaye aisi feeling
First time tujhko dekha
The lights turned on. Vishal Arjun and Sunny boys took off their coats, swung them into the crowd before jumping off the stage to join other guests from Vishal's bachelor party. The whole club went wild and started cheering as the guys started dancing.
Di then appears from behind the boys and joined in their act.
Vishal with Di, Arjun and Sunny singing backup:
Aye maari tune aisi entry
Hil gayi poori country
Mere dil pe dent
Permanent pad gaye nazrein jo mili (Arjun: Woohoo!)
Hadh se bhi zyada cute tu
Mere karmo ka fruit tu
Koi hai gagan mein to
Aiven jahan se aa kar tu giri
Mere charche darbadar hai
Bas tu hi bekhabar hai
Main cheekha chillaya
Tune mudke na dekha
Vishal:
Mud mud ke na dekha
Suddenly, Vishal did a run and knee slide across the dance floor over to Tara.
Vishal with Di, Arjun and Sunny singing backup:
O Chandralekha
Jab jab tujhko dekha
Aaye aisi feeling
First time tujhko dekha
The rest of them then followed Vishal's lead and ran towards Tara.
O Chandralekha
Jab jab tujhko dekha
Aaye aisi feeling
First time tujhko dekha
Vishal took Tara's hand, Arjun took Di's and Sunny took Ayesha's while Kabir, who appeared out of no where, tried to take Raina's. Raina shook her head in refusal. Kabir faked a puppy dog face but didn't force her. As the boys led the girls onto the dance floor, Kabir and Raina hung behind at the bar to watch them dance and cheered them on.
Tara, Di and Ayesha:
I don't care, if you love me
You know you don't deserve me
You do your thing, I'll do my thing
Cause you ain't coming with me.
Mujhe na kar tu follow, flying solo
I don't need nobody
Iss raat ka maza lo
Jaane do na bro
I am not your honey
Vishal singing with everyone except Raina as backup: (Kabir is singing at the bar)
Ho tere nakhre hash tag (background: #desi)
Lagte hain hash tag (background: #sexy)
Ladke tere aage pieche gir jaate hain (Arjun: Woohoo)
Chehra tera laga, (background: accha)
Ik look pe mar mita, (background: accha)
Kya bolun khwab tere
Kahan lekar jaate hain
Kab se tujhpe nazar hai
Tu mere naino ki sugar hai
Par bhaav na diya
Kabhi mujhe ik bhi paise ka
Vishal:
Mujhe ik bhi paise ka (Sunny: Aau!)
Suddenly, in the spur of the moment, Kabir jumped on top of the bar table and started singing.
Kabir singing with everyone except Raina as backup:
O Chandralekha
The three couples on the dance floor turned around and looked at Kabir in shock. He hasn't sung in such a long time and that too, in public... With a smile plastered across his face...? What's going on?
Jab jab tujhko dekha
Aaye aisi feeling
O first time tujhko dekha
Kabir jumped off then ran over to join the rest of them.
Vishal and Kabir singing with all except Raina as backup:
O Chandralekha
Jab jab tujhko dekha
Aaye aisi feeling (Kabir : Ke kaise feeling)
First time tujhko dekha
The whole gang then made their way to the bar and started dancing. Kabir tried to make Raina dance but she laughed it off. Instead, she picked up her bottle of water and took a sip out of it. When the liquid touched her tongue, she realized something was wrong. Despite that, she swallowed it. A weird sensation tingle down her throat. It felt weird... It felt like she was drinking...
"Kabir!" Raina shouted and Kabir sped off, laughing. "I'll kill you!"
The girls realized what had happened and doubled over in laughter. Raina started chasing after Kabir who had already managed to put half a club worth of distance between them. The girls were right, Kabir doesn't played fair. When Raina was distracted, Kabir must have managed to slip alcohol into Raina's drink.
The whole club roared out in excitement as Raina tried to chase Kabir throughout the whole club. She was in heels for goodness sake! Couldn't Kabir cut her some slack?
Kabir ran a whole round around the club with Raina trailing behind. Finally he managed to make his way back to the bar where everyone was. Kabir then hid behind Di, using her as a human shield to defend himself from Raina's wrath.
"Kabir," Di said as she struggled to get out of Kabir's grip. "Chodo! (Let go!) Kabir! Let go!"
While he was using Di as a human shield, Raina managed to catch up with him.
"Kabir," Raina scolded. "Let her go."
"Nahi (No)," Kabir answered. "You'll kill me."
"Don't be such a scaredy-cat, Kabir!" Raina taunted as she reached sideways to grab hold of Kabir. Instead of grabbing him, Kabir moved Di in between the both of them. Di squealed.
"Sorry but main aapne jaan ko bohot pyaar karta hoon (I love my life a lot)," he retorted.
Raina ignored his statement and made another quick swipe at him. This time, instead of using Di as a shield again, Kabir decided to grabbed hold of Raina's wrists. They then engaged in some form of air arm wrestling as Raina tried to tug and wriggle her wrists free. Kabir, on the other hand, had the added advantage of being stronger. He just smiled as he watched her struggle.
Suddenly, Raina tripped over Kabir's foot and lost her footing. Because Kabir had been holding onto her, he too, was dragged along. Kabir threw his arms around Raina to protect her from the fall.
"Ow!" Kabir yelped as he hit the floor. "Are you OK?"
"I'm fine," Raina replied as she tried to untangle herself from Kabir. However, Kabir's arms were still around her so she was trapped. "Can you let me go now?"
"I'm trying," he replied. Both his arms were pinned under both his and Raina's weight, making it hard to move. "Can someone help?"
Instead of helping them, the rest of the group were stood there snickering at the drama that unfolded before them. After a few more attempts, Kabir managed to free one of his arm. He then used that arm as support and hovered above Raina, their faces inches away from each other. "You know, you look different from this angle? I kind of like it."
The rest of the group broke out in laughter.
"Shut up and get off me," Raina retorted, feeling embarrassed. Kabir immediately pushed himself to a sitting position and yanked his other arm free.
"Sorry," he murmured as he stood up. He then offered Raina a hand and help her to her feet.
"It's ok," she replied.
"Are you OK?" Tara asked them after the laughter had died down.
"Yeah," Raina and Kabir replied in unison.
"We warned you about Kabir didn't we?" Di told Raina.
Raina lets out a weak smile.
"What did Kabir do?" Arjun asked, clearly confused.
"Kabir and Raina made a bet," Ayesha explained. "They were supposed to stay away from alcohol tonight. The loser, in this case, Raina, has to do a forfeit."
"Rainaji," Sunny joked. "I wish you all the best. I'll pray for you."
"But he cheated," Raina exclaimed. "He mixed alcohol in my water."
"Vodka to be exact," Kabir answered. "And there were no rules about sabotaging or slipping things into your opponent's drinks."
Raina opened her mouth to say something in her defense but decided against it. Kabir was right, they didn't set any rules. Darn it!
"So," Kabir continued, rubbing his victory in Raina's face. "Ready for your forfeit?"
Raina gave Kabir an annoyed glare.
"Fine," she replied, begrudgingly. "What's my forfeit?"
Kabir thought for a while but nothing surfaced.
"I'll tell you when I think of one," he answered.
An chorus of 'aww's resonated around the bar area.
"Nothing too hard," Raina pleaded. "Please?"
"I can't promise that," Kabir replied. "But I can promise you that it's entirely safe."
"Yeah right," Arjun muttered. "Good luck with your forfeit."
Kabir shot Arjun a look that shut him up.
"So," Kabir announced. "Since Raina has lost the bet and the game over, I'm going to get myself a drink to celebrate."
"No!" Ayesha, Sunny and Raina shouted at the same time.
Kabir jumped back slightly in shock.
"Fine," he said. "I won't. There's no need to shout."
"Good," Ayesha told Kabir.

A/N: So, I decided to throw in a bit of movie cliche in it. What do you think of it? Thoda zyada (A bit too much), right? And about the song scene, what do you think about it? It's my first time writing one. Any suggestions on how to make it better? Because there will be more of it in the upcoming chapters... Or should I turn them into video form and leave the text for story parts? Please let me know...
Till the next chapter...
