One week later.

"

Okay,this is getting weird each day. What is going on between the two of you?" Cassie threw down her napkin and crossed her arms over her chest, all the while staring at Ella,who was sitting across from her picking her food, and William,who sat at the right end of the table glaring at his plate as if the thing was filled with worms instead of spaghetti.

"Nothing." They said simultaneously, before turning to glare at each other across the table.

"Mom,why are they staring at each other that way?" Bell pointed at Ella and William with his fork.

"Nothing sweetie." Ella smiled at him. "Ana,do you still want more sauce?"

Ana shook her dark head,from the high chair she was placed in and scooped up spaghetti from her plate with her plastic fork. The whole thing ended on her body.

Ella and William got to her at the same time, reached for her but jumped back when their hands brushed each other.

They have been careful around each other as if they were explosives waiting to happen,ever since what happened back in the gym. Ella ignored him and do not speak to him,unless it was truly necessary, while William glared at her every chance he gets.

"Don't worry,I would take care of her." Ella waved him away and reached for her,but William brushed her hands away.

"No,you go and sit. I would take care of her after all she is my niece." He shot back.

Ella placed her hands on her hips to glare at him. "In case you knocked your head and it slipped out of it,I am her mother's best friend,so I am her Aunt too."

"That's what you are to this family."

"You should have thought of that before accusing me of trying to seduce you." Ella said before she could stop herself." You kissed me first. Why did you even kiss me in the first place when you know that I disgust you?"

"I don't know okay?" He shouted. "I never meant for it to happen."

"But it did." Ella dropped her arms to her side with a sigh. "This cook thing is not working out well. I think that I should just quit."

William huffed and crossed his arms. "I think so too." His phone began to ring so he had to excuse his self to answer it.

Ella turned to see that everyone was staring at them in surprise. It took her few minutes to realise the reason why. But before they could recover from their shock,she ran out of the dining room and upstairs into her room.

Coming to work here was a mistake.

Which is why she is going back home today.

By the time William got back from work that evening,everyone was sitting in the parlour watching TV. He greeted them and was surprised when he got no response from none of them.

He shrugged. He went to the kitchen to make himself some coffee, half expecting to see Ella in the kitchen,he was surprised when he saw Ace in the kitchen instead.

"Welcome sir." Ace grinned at him. "Do you want coffee?"

"Yes,please." He tried not to let her see that he was befuddled at Ella's sudden absence.

"Here sir." She handed the coffee to him.

William raised the cup to his lips and spat it out almost immediately.  "What is this? House Insulant? "

Ace beamed at him. "Ella told me that too,when she tasted my coffee."

"Speaking of Ella,where is she?"

Ace smile died. "You don't know?"

"Know what?"

"She left this morning just after you left for work." She pretended to be wiping the counter. "She said she quit."

William felt his blood run cold. "She what? She can't just quit like that. Didn't any of you think of stopping her?"

"No. Kaden and the others even wished her goodbyes."

William clenched and unclenched his hands in anger. She was a coward. Why did she leave because of such a trivial matter?

He would not go after her. If she wants to quit,then that's her problem not his.

"Okay,thank you." He turned and walk out of the kitchen.

"The attraction is there,but they are doing their best to avoid each other." Ansela said from where she was sitting. "They are more difficult than the two of you."

"Than the two of us you say." Kaden glared at her.

"Yes." She smiled at him. "But seriously,what do you think we should do about it? I called you here to help me not play couple."

Cassie rubbed her arms in thought. "I have been thinking about it for days now and I finally arrived at a conclusion."

"What's that?"

By the time she finished telling them,the three of them were nodding and smiling with approval.

"You're right." Kaden smiled at his wife. "You are smart as always."

"As you are."

Ansela rolled her eyes. "Oh,please. Take this gag worthy thing to your room. Bell,Ana do you want some ice creams?"

"Yes."

"Yes."

Come with me then."

Kaden waited until they were out of sight before pulling his wife into his laps and kissing her senseless.
