"There you are, someone just left your office"

Aiden frowned.

"Someone? Did you see their face?" He asks. Nithya shook her head.

"They were wearing a green tracksuit."

They enter Aiden's office and see a large brown envelope. He glances at his friend who shrugged. He sighs.

"Maybe it's a security hazard, I'll call security"

"Wait!....maybe it's a donation"

"Nithya, a strange person left this in my office. I could be a viral bomb"

"Or....it could be money, open it"

"No, I'm calling security. Don't touch it" he says and walked out. Nithya frowned.

"Why is he so difficult!"

Mintues later, Aiden returns with security wearing protective clothing.

"There it is"

"Don't worry sir, we'll burn it to avoid any harm"

"Thanks"

They watch the team put the envelope in red plastic bag and carry it out. Aiden sighed.

"And now we wait for the security footage"

Nithya sighed.

"I think you're overthinking this."

"This is a hospital Nithya, we can never be too careful"

"Thanks for the pie"

"You're welcome....see you tomorrow?"

"I'm not sure....Aiden is trying to keep me busy without a schedule"

"Oh...see you around then"

Cayden offered him a smile.

"Goodluck on the coitus"

Jaxon laughed shaking his head.

"He's too cute for this world"

Outside, Cayden walked back home. Surprisingly their house was just two streets away. His phone started to ring. It was Aiden.

"Hello"

"Hey babe....are you home?"

"I'm on my way there, I just had pie with whipped cream"

"Sounds yummy, let's go together tomorrow"

He smiled and skipped along the sidewalk.

"I'd like that"

"Me too....I'm going to be home at 6, there's a takeout menu on the fridge"

"Okay and Aiden?"

"Yes babe?"

"....I love you"

"I love you too....so much"

He smiles and hangs up. He stuffs the phone in his pocket and crosses the street.

"Welcome back!"

It was Jade again. Cayden smiled at her.

"Thank you"

She smiled.

"Do you want some cocoa? I'm alone in the house so I'm bored"

Cayden shrugged.

"Okay"

They go inside. Cayden was led to the kitchen.

"You know, when Tucker leaves the house all i do is watch tv and cook all day. To think i used to be a nurse"

Cayden took a sip of his cocoa.

"You're doing the best you can. You and your husband are both financially stable, why should the both of you work when another person could take the job to better their lives"

Jade smiled hearing that. She slides a plate of cookies to him.

"Cayden....your mother. Do you know where she is?"

"No and I don't need to"

She nods.

"I understand...i just wanted you to know that when you need someone to talk to instead of Aiden, I'm here"

He nods.

"She burned me with an iron.....I was fourteen, doing the dishes and one glass slipped and fell....she happened to be ironing her clothes so she yelled at me....called me names, when i lashed out at her she slapped me and pressed the iron on my back"

Jade was mortified. How could a mother do that to her own child?

"Cayden....did she....did she abuse you?"

Cayden sighed and stood up.

"I should head back home, I'm uncomfortable"

She watched him walk out, she sighs.

"Winona....what have you done to this child?"

The door opens and he goes inside only to be pulled back out. He gasps as Nithya held her hand on his neck.

"What are you doing ?" He asks, she sneers at him.

"Confronting you, can't you tell? Or are you too slow for that too"

He's pushed back inside making him land on the floor with a thud. He hisses as he landed awkwardly on his wrist.

"Awe poor baby hurt his hand" she mocks.

The door closes and Nithya pulls him by the hair as she crouched down to face him.

"Listen to me and listen well. Aiden doesn't love you. He only feels bad for your condition, you're trapping him. Every day he comes to work exhausted because he feels like his life is going nowhere why? Because of a selfish person like you"

"That's not true! He loves me!" He yells, tears brimming his eyes.

"Oh he does? Then why did he have sex with me? Huh? Tell me"

"He....he had sex with you?"

She smirks.

"He did, he fucked me so good"

She had to be lying! Aiden wouldn't do that.

"If you don't believe me, ask him" she says and walks out.

Cayden was left there on the floor. He felt like his world was crushing down, everyone lied to him, they say they love him but it all ends up in betryal. love was the lie!

He sits on the floor, rocking back and forth as he held his knees.

"It's not true.....it's not true"

Aiden parks the car. He grabs the shopping bag from the back seat and heads to the front door. It was open. He frowns.

"Cayden?" He calls out once he got inside. He flicks the light on and sees Cayden on the floor. Blank expression on his face.

"Cayden....are you okay?" He reaches out a hand only to have it slapped away.

"She came here....what she said.....is it true?"

He kneeled down infront of him.

"Who came here?"

"Your friend....she came here and told me lies about you"

Aiden frowned. Was he talking about Nithya?

"What did she say?"

Cayden shook his head as tears trickled down his face.

"I'm going to ask you one question and answer me honestly"

He nods.

"Okay"

Cayden wipes his tears and looks at Aiden.

"Did you have.....have sex with her?"

His eyes widened. Why would Nithya tell Cayden that!

"Oh my God....so it is true"

"It was be-"

"No! Don't touch me!....I loved you....and....and you betrayed me"

Aiden tried to hold him but Cayden slapped his hands away.

"Cayden you have to listen to me, it was-"

"NO! You're just like her! You both hurt me!"

He...he hurt him? That was the last thing he wanted to do, he wanted to make Cayden happy. A slight ache panged his chest making a tear trickle down his face.

Before he knew it, Cayden had run off into the heavy blizzard. Aiden ran out.

"Cayden!"

"Cayden come back......please"
