"You're missing out"

"I knooow, I'll be there by lunch"

He smiles at the response and speaks up.

"See you soon"

When he hanged up, Aiden smirked at him.

"You miss your boyfriend already?"

Luis scoffs and stuffs his phone in his front pocket. It was mid afternoon and everyone was talking a walk around the block with their ice creams in hand.

"You have been showing off all day i was feeling lonely"

Aiden nods in understanding, sometimes being in front of a couple showing PDA while your partner is busy at work could spark a little jealousy.

"So, you and Jaxon, how long have you been dating?"

Luis was quick to answer,

"Two weeks. It's a short time I know but what we have is really special"

Aidens nods with a warm smile.

"I can relate. I first met Cayden when we were kids....I had the biggest crush on him and one day he moved away, never gotten over him since"

Luis was a little shocked. Does a love like that really exist?

Just then Cayden ran up to them, he hands Aiden his ice-cream with a smile.

"Here, take mine"

Aiden eyes the ice cream suspiciously.

"What are you planning?"

Cayden giggled.

"Nothing....just take it" he says and runs away, Luis sees Cayden and a few kids peek from the corner looking at Aiden.

"I wouldn't eat that if I were you" he warns. Aiden agrees with a hum. He pokes the ice cream and it deflates, white liquid spilling to the ground.

"What the....what is this?" He asks. Luis was a little shocked too.

"I don't know....is that glue?"

"Attack!"

Before they could even comprehend what was going on, Cayden and the kids come running towards them, white sludge in their hands. They attacked the two men, painting them in white, when they were done they ran away.

Aiden blinked, white sludge running down his face.

"I think i know what it is" Luis says, he had been hit on the shoulder. Aiden wipes his face, the sludge falling on the ground with a splat.

"It's slime, he's so going to be punished"

Jaxon was about to lock up when a woman stopped him. Her dull green eyes held a familiarity he couldn't place.

"Are you closed?" She asks.

"I was about to but....I can wait, come in"

They head inside. The woman sits at the window side table, looking through the menu.

"I'll have the carrot cake and a grande latte"

"Coming right up"

While he was in the kitchen, the woman's voice could be heard as she talked on the phone.

"I tried talking to him....he doesn't want to listen"

"What do you mean I approached the situation wrongly, I'm runnig out of time and he's busy holding grudges!"

"Okay okay fine....I'll stop by the shelter and see from there"

Jaxon frowned and looked back at her, she was still busy on her phone. Could this be Cayden's mother?

He quickly sends Luis a text.

JJ- CAYDEN'S MOTHER IS COMING!

LUIS♡- 😱 I'll make a plan, thanks for the heads up!!

He tucks the phone away and goes returns to her with her order.

"Enjoy" he says, before he could disappear behind the counter, Winona stopped him.

"May I ask you something?"

"Uhh....sure?"

She sighs.

"Okay....I have a son right, he and I don't have the best relationship because I abused him for being different.....so I left him...to give him a better chance at life and now....i want him back"

Jaxon was at a loss for words. He sits down across from her.

"You gave him away so he could have a better chance at life? Then why do you want him back?"

Her green eyes glistened with tears but she blinked them away.

"I want to right my wrongs....before it's too late"

He frowns.

"Are you.....are you sick?"

She sighs and shakes her head. He watches her take a bite of the cake and she smiles.

"It's nice"

Jaxon looked at her. What could she be possibly going through?

Aiden was about to enter the house when Luis held him back.

"Aiden, Cayden's mother is coming here"

"Shit....I can't take him away now, he's enjoying his time here"

Luis nods.

"Take them to the park, I'll deal with her when she comes"

He gives Luis an appreciative nod and he heads inside. Cayden was in the kitchen packing the plates

"Hey babe?"

"Yeah?"

"Let's go to the park"

Cayden smiles and turns to face him.

"Let's go" he says and walks past Aiden. The man pulls Cayden back and pins him against the door frame.

"You were naughty earlier on....do you need to be punished?" He smirks. He sees Cayden's eyes sparkle.

"Maybe....but maybe you should also be punished"

"For what?"

Cayden sucks in his bottom lip, his hands wrap around Aiden's neck, pulling him close.

"Just for fun"

Aiden smirks and plants his lips on Cayden's, they both moan when their tongues reunite. Cayden pulls away and runs his hands down Aiden's torso to his crotch. He smirks and slithers away leaving Aiden there, baffled.

"What the fuck.....Cayden are we still doing that challenge?!"

"Yes!"

He groaned, rubbing his forehead.

"That little tease"

Jaxon smiles as Winona pays up before she left. He watches her through the window as she got into her cherry red Maserati convertible.

Once she drove away, he quickly locks up and heads into his van, he calls Luis.

"Yo!"

"She's on her way!"

"Relax, Aiden took Cayden and the kids to the park"

He released a breath of relief.

"That was close....I'll be there in ten"

"Sure"

He hangs up and focuses on the road but his mind was a little preoccupied with what Winona said back at the cafe.

"Is she really sick?"

Cayden sat on the bench next to Aiden, he lays his head on his shoulder with a sigh.

"I'm tired"

Aiden pats him lightly on the head.

"Rest up, after this we can go home"

He nods and then smiles.

"Rory is getting adopted next week"

"That's great....do you want to adopt a child?"

Cayden sat up in shock.

"Are you saying....."

Aiden shrugged.

"We're old enough so why not, also I love seeing you around kids"

Cayden blushes, sure having a child is ideal but at the same time, he's not sure if it's the right time.

"How about this....we wait a few years then we come back to the idea"

"Okay. One more thing, Luis and Jaxon asked us to be on a cruise with them"

"What about your work?"

"I can take a few days off, its only two weeks"

"Then I'd like to go"

Aiden smiles and pecks him on the lips, a chorus of EW's could be heard from the kids. Aiden laughed while Cayden blushed.

"What's Ew? I'm just showing the person I love some love"

"EW! We hate love!"

Aiden laughed and stands up.

"Ohh yeah? Then I'm the love monster and I'm going to give you all kisses!"

"Run for your lives!!"

Cayden's heart skipped a beat looking at the scene before him. He takes a few pictures and a video. Maybe having a child wouldn't be as bad as he thought.

"Cayden come help me! They have killed the love monster!"

He smiles and tucks his phone into his pocket.

"I, the love monster's wife will avenge my husband and eat all of you kids! Roooar!"

"Ahhh!  Ruuuun!!"
