Ch108 War and Casualties
Well...Strap yourselves in.
[Narrator's POV]
Cat Noir squeezes Ladybug's hand as they cautiously walk toward the centre of the city.
"It's a ghost town..." Ladybug says. "Everyone's evacuated but I don't see this threat the Mayor called in."
"A bomb threat maybe?" Cat Noir replies.
"First things first, I need to check in on the miraculous. Master Fu wouldn't have abandoned them, even if the entire city was ordered to evacuate, and I don't know if he could smuggle them out safely on his own." Ladybug says. "We need to make sure that both he and the miraculous are safe."
"Miraculous!" Cat Noir exclaims. "Maybe your miraculous can tell us what's happening. A lucky charm will tell us exactly where to go and what to do."
"Genius Chatton!" Ladybug kisses Cat Noir's hand before letting go to perform her power move. "Lucky Charm!"
A red and black Hawaiian shirt pops into the air and slowly drifts down into Ladybug's hands, whose face falls at the sight of it. "I must have been thinking too much about the guardian so my miraculous pointed me there. I'm sorry that didn't help much..."
"It's okay, m'lady, but are you sure that's all there is to it?" Cat Noir questions.
Ladybug nods solemnly and tucks the shirt into the yoyo string around her waist. "Well, we might as well go. It is still important."
"Ladybug! Cat Noir!" Queen Bee shouts as she runs toward her teammates, followed by Carapace and Rena Rouge.
"There you are," Ladybug says. "Have any of you seen anything suspicious?"
"No," Queen Bee replies. "My parents ordered the city to be evacuated but even I don't know what's going on."
"We need to split up and search." Rena Rouge says.
"Yeah, you girls go that way and Cat Noir and I will go-" Carapace starts.
"No." Ladybug interrupts. "We aren't splitting up when we don't even know what we're up against."
Queen Bee, Rena Rouge and Carapace all frown in annoyance.
"It's more efficient." Rena presses.
Carapace puts his hands on his hips. "I know you guys like each other or whatever but you and Cat Noir are the two strongest so it makes sense that we have one of you in each search party."
"We're even stronger if we all stay together." Cat Noir says.
"Fine." Queen Bee replies. "Let's all go together to see my parents so that we do know what we're up against."
As Queen Bee leads the way, Cat Noir whispers to Ladybug privately. "What about the guardian of the miraculous?"
"I can't take the others there." Ladybug says quietly. "I need to talk to the Mayor first to see what's happening."
[Marinette's POV]
I feel uneasy but I don't know why. Something is off, but I don't know what it is... I don't like this.
"It's because I'm walking right into a trap and my gut knows it." I mutter, as if subconsciously spilling my inner thoughts.
"What was that?" Cat Noir responds.
"The very first thing we established about Le Paon is that we should be extremely cautious because they could be anywhere...and anyone." I say, my brows furrowed. "How do we know this isn't the enemy luring us in?"
"Because I was with my parents all day and they aren't being mind-controlled by some supervillain." Queen Bee says defensively.
"You were with your parents all day but you don't know why they ordered this evacuation?" I question.
"Well, I was out on patrol when this happened- but, whatever! Don't you think if Le Paon had control of Andre- I mean, daddy.. don't you think Le Paon would use Paris' military to blow us to pieces or something?" Queen Bee justifies.
"That does sound convincing but we've already determined Le Paon to be more cunning than that." Cat Noir says. "Maybe there is a bigger plan at work here."
"Or maybe this is just a false alarm." Rena Rouge replies simply.
"Yeah, you dudes need to, like, chill out and stuff." Carapace says. "Stop attacking the Bourgeois and their Bee baby."
Cat Noir snorts. "What?"
"Y-You know," Carapace says. "Just, go with the flow...bro."
Rena Rouge laughs awkwardly. "I think, uh, Shelly here is scared."
"Totally!" Queen Bee says overdramatically with a flick of her hand.
"As if you aren't all a little weird about this situation!" Carapace replies.
"Don't worry, I know we're all on edge but that just means our instincts are prepared." Cat Noir says supportively. "We're here now so we can find some closure, whether it be good or bad for us. Be ready team!"
My eyes scan the city hall sceptically as I slowly follow my teammates inside. It seems to take us forever to scale the large marble staircase up to the Mayor's office. My heart beats harder and harder with every step I take; it feels as though it might burst through my chest by the time we approach the double doors at the top. Queen Bee, Rena Rouge and Carapace all step aside at once.
"Ladybug, Cat Noir." Bee starts.
"You're our leaders." Rena says.
"You go in first." Carapace finishes.
Queen Bee nods. "We've got your backs."
I feel...weird. My body is all heavy and stiff, like it doesn't want to move. Cat Noir has no problem though, he steps up straight away. After realising my hesitation, he smiles reassuringly.
"My Lady..." Cat Noir takes my hand and kisses it before gently tugging it to guide me ahead. "It is ladies first after all, bugaboo, but don't worry...I'll follow you anywhere."
Against all odds, I manage to smile and breathe deeply. Chatton...you are so soothing, even in a situation like this.
My hand slips from Cat Noir's palm and extends to the door, which glides open at my touch, and as it effortlessly gives way to reveal Audrey Bourgeois sitting in the Mayor's seat I begin to suspect that my visit was more than expected...That it was welcomed.
I clench my fists to compose myself and approach her strongly. "You think you can sit in a seat that's not yours and play with a city you don't own? What's your game, Audrey? Why have you ordered Paris to be evacuated?"
Audrey's eyes flicker up to mine and I instantly feel a cold chill creep down my spine. Why does this silly woman suddenly seem so terrifying? Her gaze is so...empty. But at the same time it's like I'm getting pulled in. How can just a look be so constricting and suffocating? So...bone-chillingly petrifying.
I can hear the sweaty leather of Cat Noir's gloves griping and grinding on the metal of his staff. It sounds like he's fidgeting nervously, like he doesn't want to have to use his weapon. He's definitely feeling tense, probably for Chloe's sake. I'm surprised she isn't speaking up herself. Why is her mother here and where is the Mayor...
"Please tell me this is just one of your stupid ploys," Cat Noir says. "You want to clean out all the clothing stores without traffic? You want Chloe and Adrien to have the city to themselves for a private date? What is it this time Audrey?"
Without breaking her eye contact once, even by so much as a blink, Audrey leans forward to place her elbows on the desk and rests her chin on her hands.
"I'm clearing a battlefield for you," She says seriously. "Just in case things go awry."
"Things?" I repeat.
Audrey's stony expression finally cracks as she smirks in amusement. "I prefer everything to be clean and calculated. I don't like when things get messy...Hence why I held your friends by gunpoint without blowing their heads off. You should be thanking me instead of asking stupid questions. I'm quite compassionate for a villain."
Cat Noir's breath hitches, shocked by Audrey's revelation. I, on the other hand, instinctively arm myself within a split second. I don't care who this woman is, or was. Just now she admitted to being our enemy. Le Paon...To think such a criminal mastermind had me believing she was the biggest idiot in Paris. Although we always knew she was pure evil.
As I slip my yoyo from around my waist and spin it round, the red and black Hawaiian shirt I had conjured earlier falls to the floor, drawing my attention. Master Fu should be safe with Le Paon cornered here-but wait...Why is she cornered here?
"I knew it all along," Rena Rouge says. "It makes perfect sense. Le Paon showed up at the same time you did, Audrey Bourgeois."
Audrey Bourgeois... Why is it Audrey?
"Alright, alright," Audrey raises her hands in surrender. "You got me so lower your weapons already."
Why isn't she transformed? Where is Le Paon?
My mind races frantically as Cat Noir puts away his staff and holds his hand out to Audrey. Finally, my thoughts settle, and so does my gaze. My eyes drop down to the Hawaiian shirt once more, widening in terror.
"Hand over your miraculous." Cat Noir demands.
"It's not here!" I exclaim shrilly.
As soon as I do so, multiple voices shout over the top of me-
"Twin Tails!"
"Bee Hive!"
"Ultimate Shield!"
The buzzing of thousands of tiny wings grows louder and louder. Rena Rouge's clones split off and surround us, each apparition appearing more sinister than the last. A bright green dome closes around everything, sealing in the swarm of bees that had invaded the room. The last thing I see before my vision is enveloped by the yellow insects is Audrey grabbing Cat Noir's hand and twisting it behind his back. With his free hand he manages to grab his staff and hurl it at Carapace's magic shield, screaming at the top of his lungs as it shatters.
"Run Ladybug!"
I sling round my yoyo in one hand and the Hawaiian shirt in the other to wade my way through the storm of bees. My skin is searing. Every inch of it that is left exposed by my suit is being stung by bees. I can hardly see through the mass of insects and the tears blurring my eyes. But I can't stop. I won't stop. My teammates, my friends...Adrien. All of them taken. It's agonising to leave them behind, I feel as though my heart is tearing apart, but I have to save Master Fu and the miraculous from Le Paon like my lucky charm tried to tell me to beforehand.
The voices of Rena Rouge and her clones echoes from every corner of the room like a cruel haunting as they scurry around looking for me.
"Ladybug, don't leave us!"
"We're your friends!"
"What kind of a hero are you?"
"You're killing us! We'll die!"
"Don't you dare run! Where are you, Ladybug? DON'T YOU DARE RUN AWAY FROM ME!"
I manage to stumble to the edge of the room and feel the wall as I shuffle along it in search of the door but instead my fingers touch the cool surface of glass. All of a sudden, I feel a rush of wind swoosh by me. I whip my head aside to the direction of the flying object-Carapace's shield. It whirls round and returns the way it came and I hear Carapace's fingers clamping down on it not too far from me. He's throwing blindly hoping to hit me it seems...why don't I give him a hint.
"Marco!" I holler.
I quickly dodge to the side as Carapace swings his shield in the direction of my voice. The glass window shatters beside me and I wait for Carapace's shield to fly back inside before leaping out through the open frame. The wind feels so refreshing against the burning bee stings on my face. I barely make a landing before my disguise dissolves away and the Hawaiian shirt in my hand poofs into pink dust. Tikki whimpers and falls into my hands. I quickly rest her into my purse and bolt from the scene, sprinting as hard as I can through the city.
How could I be so blind? How long has my team been infiltrated by Le Paon? How will I be able to fight them all... Paris is overrun by the enemy. Everyone is gone. My teammates are against me. Even my guardian might have fallen. I am running without any plan and without even my own power, but what matters is that I am still able to run. To fight.
"Marinette, what are you doing?" Tikki says weakly. "I'm too tired, you have to stop."
"If anything it'll be safer to travel as Marinette. Le Paon isn't looking for me." I reply. "There's no time to stop, Tiki. We have a war to win."
.
[Narrator's POV]
Marinette pins her back to the old, brick wall of Master Fu's residence and slowly leans to the side to peek through a window. To her horror, she sees a slender woman with short blue hair and red eyes so bright against her dark blue skin that they appear to be glowing. Her long, sleek dress flows lightly like feathers and fans out into a rainbow of colours. The movement of these colours, lapsing and swaying, it's almost...hypnotising. Marinette blinks from her daze when Le Paon flicks out a feathered fan and flutters it toward-
"Master Fu!" Marinette gasps quietly.
.A sparkling wind blows from Le Paon's fanning and washes over Master Fu. Le Paon smiles and speaks out, her voice cool and cold.
"Fetch me the Miraculous spell book."
"The spellbook? Does she not know there are other miraculous here?" Marinette whispers. "Whatever she's up to, I have to stop her."
"Marinette I'm not done!" Tiki chokes urgently as she scoffs cookies.
Marinette takes a deep breath. "I'm sorry Tiki, it's too dangerous to bring you into the fight anyway. Le Paon already has Cat Noir's miraculous, I can't let her get mine."
"What? But-But taking on five miraculous oppositions by yourself is dangerous too!" Tiki says.
"If I've learnt anything from you, it's that I am Ladybug. With or without these earrings." Marinette removes her earrings and hands them to Tiki. "Standby, and if anything happens to me then give your power to someone else. I know you'll make the right decision."
Tiki sniffs sadly, shaking with fear as she take the earrings from Marinette. "B-Be safe...please."
Marinette smiles and nods strongly. "I will."
As Tiki disappears into the darkness of an alleyway, Marinette reaches up to touch her bare ears. She feels exposed and vulnerable but it eases her to know that Tiki is safe. All of a sudden, Marinette hears a creaking door and the clocking of heels on concrete. She quickly shifts round the corner before Le Paon emerges from the building. Mere seconds later, Rena Rouge, Carapace and Queen Bee approach, dragging Cat Noir along with them. Marinette gasps sharply and clamps a hand over her mouth and nose to muffle her breathing.
Cat Noir looks around frantically, knowing that Ladybug was headed for this exact location, but thankfully she is nowhere in sight. Blazing with bravery, he faces Le Paon and addresses her loudly.
"What are your plans, Peacock?"
Le Paon flicks through the miraculous spellbook leisurely. "My plan is quite genius. I doubt Hawkmoth even knew of it. But why should I indulge you with my knowledge?"
Cat Noir huffs. "Hawkmoth's whole motive was the ultimate power, you aren't special."
Le Paon smirks. "I'm taking it much farther than that, Cat. Don't you know that the spells in this book upgrade miraculous powers? The power over creation and destruction by itself might allow one to control all energy and matter within this space, taking and giving and manipulating what is already here, but with a simple enchantment I will have the power to do more than rearrange. I will have the power to completely redesign time and space. I won't have to concern myself with the balance of the universe or paying for what I take. Afterall, if the total matter in this world remains at a constant then why not just create a new world with a new constant?"
"What, like...change our world and everything in it? Everything we've come to know, the people we've come to love...erased and rewritten?" Cat Noir says shakily. "That's horrible. What could possibly be worth sacrificing all of the feelings and experiences and memories created in this timeline? W-What are you-are you just going to reprogram everyone's minds so that they worship you or something? You want to rule a world that's not even real? Is that it?!" Cat Noir thrashes around angrily, struggling against the grip of his teammates. "What's wrong with you?! You think you have the right to decide the fate of others?! I won't let you take my life! I won't let you take hers!"
Tears well up in Marinette's eyes. What will happen to all her relationships after Le Peon is done? Are there people she won't meet? Friends she won't make? Will she and Adrien have never fallen in love? Will she never have known Tiki? Never have grown as Ladybug?
"Alright, I've entertained you long enough." Le Paon flutters her fan at Cat Noir.
Marinette impulsively lunges forward, screaming out. "Stop!"
Le Paon falters in shock. She and all of the heroes under her control speak in unison, "What are you doing here?" Unfortunately, Cat Noir also speaks with them. He is a part of her horde now...
Marinette curls her fingers into tight fists. "What you're doing is wrong and I won't let you get away with it."
"I don't want to hurt you but if I must then I will not hesitate," Le Paon says threateningly. "I can always rebuild you."
"Then I wouldn't be me!" Marinette shouts in distress. "Every single tiny thing that has happened in this reality is what built me. You can't just mess with that however you please!"
Le Paon shifts back as Marinette storms toward her. "Don't overestimate yourself, you can't take me head on. Just be on your way and I promise to leave you alone. I can easily make everything exactly the same-even better than that! Mind your own business and I will make your life better than it ever was. The life you have always dreamed of. I can give you anything you want."
"I want your miraculous!" Marinette hisses before charging at Le Paon.
Queen Bee lunges at Marinette and Carapace hurls his shield, which Marinette uses as a step, leaping up and pushing off of the metal disc to flip over Queen Bee and dodge her attack. As soon as Marinette lands, Rena Rouge is there to throw a fist but Marinette grabs her by the arm and swings her through the air, sending her crashing into Carapace's shield on its return.
"You can't take us all at once!" Carapace and Queen Bee shout as they both run at Marinette. "You're outnumbered!"
Marinette jumps up at the last second and smashes her two attackers' heads together, leaving them sprawled on the ground. "But you're outmatched," she says coolly.
There is a window of opportunity whilst three of Marinette's opponents are down and she takes it, heading straight for Le Paon, because it appears the master mind cannot fight physically but rather uses her skilled minions. Fear flashes in Le Paon's eyes as Marinette makes a swift swipe and her fingers become just centimeters away from the peacock miraculous, but at the last second Cat Noir grabs Marinette's wrist and twists it.
"AAHARRGGH!" Marinette cries out in pain. "C-Cat-- Cat Noir! Let go! P-Please, Chat, snap out of it!"
Queen Bee, Rena Rouge and Carapace have recovered and surrounded Cat Noir's capture. Even if Marinette escapes his hold, there is a group of people ready to pounce on her.
Le Paon slowly steps up to Marinette. "You're awfully strong for a normal schoolgirl..." She says skeptically, and moves aside Marinette's hair to check her ears but they are bare. "Hm. No earrings...no use then."
"Cataclysm!"
Marinette draws a sharp breath of fright. Her eyes widen and her pupils shrink. Her heart stops and her blood runs cold. In this split second, her mind races frantically. It's not enough time to struggle against Cat Noir's grip and dodge his attack. Even if it was, any of the other four people around her would grab her and let Cat Noir have at it. Marinette's eyes flick to her side where Le Paon stands over her. The peacock miraculous, the thing controlling her teammates and forcing them to attack, it is within her reach. If she could just grab it everything would cease-- But she is restrained and again she has no time to break free. No matter what Marinette thinks of, it seems there is no way to escape Cat Noir's cataclysm.
So she must embrace it.
As Cat Noir's deathly claws come down upon her, Marinette shoves with all her might. The two tip over into Le Paon and Cat Noir's hand instead grazes her miraculous. The last thing Marinette sees is a blinding blue light before her head hits the ground and she falls unconscious.
Meanwhile, Cat Noir is only just waking up. Darkness fades to blurry colours that come into focus to form shapes. The painful pounding in his head calms as his vision finally clears but when he tries to remember how he got here he is met with another head-splitting throb. So, he gives up on himself and instead looks around. A strike of panic pierces his heart and only sinks deeper the more he sees. His teammates are all groaning and gripping their heads, appearing just as tired and lost as he is, Marinette is stripped of her miraculous and knocked out cold on the concrete, and beside her Nathalie is knelt, weak and trembling, as she mourns over a pile of ash.
"Zara...I've destroyed all that was left of you. I...I'm so sorry. I've failed! I've failed you..."
Cat Noir's shock immediately loses it's hold of him as his attention is turned from Nathalie to the ash beneath her and suddenly, nothing else matters.
"M-Mom...Mom's miraculous? That--That can't be it. It's...gone? No...How?" Cat Noir says shakily, his heart wrenched with sorrow. "Mom, Dad...I promised I'd get it back for you."
"Mom?" Nathalie's sniffling stops as she stares at Cat Noir in horror. "Adrien...?"
Tears spill from Cat Noir's eyes as his miraculous begins beeping away, indicating the use of his cataclysm. "No! No, I promised I-- How could I? No! Mom! I'm so sorry! Mom! Mom, help me! Help! Someone! Please, no!"
Just then, Tikki comes zooming toward Marinette's limp body. "Marinette! Marinette, are you okay? Please wake up!"
All of a sudden, Tikki is snatched up in the claws of Cat Noir. Without any explanation, he takes the earrings from her and almost throws her aside in his hast.
"What's wrong?" Tikki asks worriedly. "What are you doing?"
"Help me," Cat Noir begs desperately. "Please."
Tikki gasps as Cat Noir forces an earring into his unpierced lobe. With the first break of his skin he lets out a cry, then bites down on his bottom lip as he forces the earring through his flesh. Blood drips from the messy, makeshift piercing as he pushes the second earring into his other ear. As soon as the ladybug miraculous becomes completely apart of him, Tiki disappears into the earrings and a glamorous, golden light shines from his being and it's sparkles leave behind a glittering, purple fabric on his skin.
Adrien's eyes glow an electric green, brighter than even Cat Noir's ever were. But anything optical is irrelevant. Right now, he can do more than see what is physically there-- He can sense the very soul of this earth's matter, he can feel every fibre of its being, he can interpret energy, and with these things he can manipulate what is seen physically. With this power he can sway to one of two sides. Creation or Destruction. He can feel them surging within, two opposing forces swirling in harmony like Ying and Yang. Their energy sings their names-- Tikki and Plagg. There are similar concentrations of energy nearby-- Wayzz, Pollen and Trixx...but no others.
"I...I can't sense it," Adrien says. "This isn't enough power."
"Kid, this is the Ultimate Power." Replies Plagg's voice.
"I hear what you're thinking, Adrien, but any more is an overload." Tikki says.
"Help me!" Adrien cries.
The miraculouses are ripped from Queen Bee, Rena Rouge and Carapace, and fly through the air to attach themselves to Adrien. With each one, he feels a jolt in his bones.
Alya and Nino watch in shock as their disguises dissolve away.
"A...Alya...?" Nino reaches out a trembling hand and touches Alya's cheek to make sure this is real. "Alya...Alya!" Nino throws his arms around the love of his life and hugs her tightly than ever before with no intention of ever letting go. "Alya, thank god it was you!"
Tears stream down Alya's cheeks as she buries herself in the arms of her love. There are so many overflowing emotions but more than anything she feels sorrow and yet great relief. "I'm sorry, Nino! I'm so sorry! I-It was an accident and I tried to explain-- I wanted to tell you-- I'm just so glad you know now! No more secrets, ever!"
"Oh god yes, I promise you. I'm so relieved! Alya, I'm so sorry as well. I ruined everything and I just left you-- But it's over now and I'm never leaving you ever again. I love you so much!"
"I love you too, Nino."
"First of all I want to say that I called it even though I never said it out loud," Chloe interrupts. "Second of all I would like to say get a feel of the mood, idiots-- Nathalie is Le Paon, Marinette is dead and Adrien is crazy!"
"I accept the dangers and offer my power to you." Pollen's disembodied voice says within Adrien.
"It's not like we have a choice..." Trixx says dully. "You ever tried to defy the will of the Ultimate Being? He called us here, quit acting all heroic."
"It's about the principle," Pollen snaps. "I admire what is being done."
"I don't...This is highly irresponsible." Wayzz whimpers. "Just please, save Duusu."
"Duusu...is that who I'm searching for?" Adrien speaks, his voice vibrating in a supernatural manner. He concentrates so hard that his brain begins to burn and his head feels as though it will burst. He grits his teeth and tugs on his hair as he attempts to ignore the agony and focus on Duusu's energy. "I...ARGH! I CAN'T--"
Adrien can't sense Duusu but he can sense some others nearby...
"Adrien, no, that could tear you apart!" Tikki says firmly.
"Ooo, hoo hoo~" Trixx chimes with intrigue. "Interesting...You are crazy and I like it!"
"I don't like it!" Wayzz squeaks. "The Master will not appreciate us killing his chosen one!"
"I...I hate agreeing with Trixx. Nothing she finds fun ends well but I-- I want to save Duusu!" Pollen says. "Humans all die anyway, Duusu is a fellow kwami. She is most important!"
"Easy for you to say, Adrien isn't your human! He's mine! He's my holder! My--My friend! None of you have any right to decide this-- To, To take him from me! He's mine! He's mine!" Plagg replies in distress. "Adrien, I forbid you! Please-- Please don't!"
Tears escape from the corners of Adrien's tightly shut eyes and trickle over the creases caused by his strained expression. "I'm sorry..." He whispers before screaming out, "COME TO ME!"
Every other miraculous stored away in Master Fu's secret box forcefully breaks free and zips to Adrien. There is so much power and energy surging through Adrien's body that he is sure he will explode any second. His muscles are searing and his bones feel as though they are splitting, his heart is pounded harder and faster than is surely humanly possibility, his chest and lungs feel crushed, and his head is throbbing as if his skull is squeezing the life out of his brain. He isn't sure if he has screamed so much that he has lost his voice or if his eardrums have bursted, either way can't stop screaming at the top of his lungs despite being unable to hear himself. Perhaps it is because there is so much commotion around him. There are so many microscopic grains of matter, so many molecules, so many souls on earth, so much energy. He can detect it all but he can't make sense of it, he just simply can't contain so much information.
"Calm down, Adrien, calm." Plagg says. "You don't need it all."
"Focus! Focus!" Tikki orders. "Pick one thing and focus on it! Ignore everything else! Ignore it!"
"The sooner you make sense of your thoughts, the sooner you can expel this power that is destroying your body." Wayzz instructs.
"Help him!" Plagg pleads.
All of the kwamis focus their own energy, their many voices chanting. "Duusu...Duusu. Duusu! DUUSU!"
Adrien's eyes shoot open and his body alights with golden flames. "DUUSU!" He roars, his voice booming and echoing.
Nathalie scrambles backwards as The body of pure power steps forward and kneels beside the remains of the peacock miraculous. Though it is faint and dying, Adrien can still sense it. Duusu's lifeforce...
"Expel the power...If it is enough to obliterate me then hopefully it is enough to save her. Creation and Destruction are balanced forces, after all."
Adrien focuses all of his energy on each spec of ash before him, to revitalize them. He focuses on giving all of his power to create a vessel strong enough to harbor a kwami. He focuses on sacrificing everything within him to recreate the peacock miraculous, which can contain what is left of Duusu's life and allow time to heal.
"Give Duusu everything I have, I don't care what's left..."
