Bucky's POV

That was the best travel of my life! I was at Hawaii and I was with my boyfriend, sorry fiancee, Steve.

When he proposed I was the happiest person in the Universe.

That day we were going to tell my mum about the wedding.

I invited Steve at dinner as an excuse to be alone with him and my mum.

When I told Carol about Steve and I she almost cried and she admitted that she knew about Steve's plan.

Tell my mum about Steve and I's wedding was probably the hardest thing I have ever done.

-Here mum, this is from the Hawaii- I said giving her a little bag with a few sand inside.

-Oh my God you remembered!- she said crying and she hugged me.

-And... Something else happened in the Hawaii too- I said.

I showed her my hand with Steve's ring on it.

-Whaaaat?! Oh I am so happy! My son is going to get married!- she said crying and kissed me and then Steve.

-So you accept this?- I asked.

-You are happy, this is all I want. And Steve is a good guy, he is perfect for you- she said smiling.

Carol's POV

I was on the sofa, kissing Peggy, when my phone rang, saying that I had a new message.

-Ughhh- I complained.

-Ignore it- Peggy said kissing me again.
-I can't, it can be the director who wants more of my photos for the exhibition- I said.

-True- she said and I took my phone.
There were two messages: the first one was from Bucky.

From: B.B.
Hey Carol! Steve and I are planning our wedding and... Would you like to be our photographer?

To: B.B.
It will be an honor! Of course I will! I am so happy for you guys :)

And the second message was from Nat, again.

From: Nat
Hey Carol... You won't probably read this but Wanda woke up and she is in an hospital here in New York. I would love you to meet her. Please.

-Who is that?- Peggy asked.

-Nat's fiancee has woken up- I said.

-Oh thank God! That is a great news!- she said.

-Yes... She is in an hospital here in New York and she wants me to meet her. I don't know what to do...- I said.

-Go, we'll see tonight like we planned- she said smiling.

I smiled and kissed her, leaving.

When I arrived at the hospital Nat was at the front door, waiting for me and she led me to Wanda's room, where there was another man.

-Wanda- Nat called her -This is Carol. Carol, these are Wanda and her brother Pietro-.

-Nice to meet you- I said.

-Wow you are exactly like Nat described you- Wanda said -Nice to meet you too-.

-I leave you girls alone- Pietro said and left.

-So... I am happy to see that you are alive- I said.

-I riskes a lot- she said smiling -But I am here now-.

Nat took her hand smiling and I could see how in love they were.

I was happy for Nat and Wanda, I really was.

Then why did that hurt so much?
