Huikuan arrived at Xiao's home at 6:03 p.m. Xiao Zhan was already waiting for him at the gate. When Huikuan rung the bell, he hurriedly opened the gate and pulled him inside.

"Hello Gege!! How are you?" Xiao Zhan greeted

"Hello Zhan!! I am fine. How are you?" Huikuan asked with a smile.

"I am fine." Xiao Zhan replied with a smile.

"By the way, you are 3 minutes late Kuan gege." Xiao Zhan said with a pout.

"I'm sorry, I was stuck in the traffic." Kuan replied nervously.

"It's okay, just be on time at the wedding ceremony." Xiao Zhan said teasingly.

As they were going inside they met with Mr. Xiao. He was going outside but surprised seeing Kuan at this hour.

"Greetings Uncle" Kuan said and bowed a little.

"Greetings son, Everything okay?" Mr. Xiao asked surprisingly.

"Yes Uncle" Kuan replied and Mr. Xiao nodded his head. After that both became silent.
Xiao Zhan saw the little interaction.

"Are you going to make hin stand outside? Ask him to come inside." Xiao Zhan whispered to Mr. Xiao's ear.

"Oh yes yes yes, please come in dear." Mr. Xiao said lovingly and gestured them to move inside.

"What?" Mr. Xiao asked noticing Zhan's expression.

"Weren't you going anywhere?" Zhan asked smilingly.

"How can I go anywhere now?" Mr. Xiao said.

Mrs. Xiao called Mr. Xiao in a corner.

"If you were going to invite him, you could have at least informed me about it so I would have prepared accordingly.
The drawing room is a mess. It hasn't even dusted properly." Mrs. Xiao said worriedly.

"I haven't invited him. I already told you." Mr. Xiao said irritadely.

"Then who invited him?" Mrs. Xiao asked.

"How would I know?" Mr. Xiao was saying when Xiao Zhan came to them.

"Shh!! I invited him. What are you doing?" Xiao Zhan irritadely asked.

"Why?" Mr. Xiao asked.

"What's the harm in meeting him once, what could possible happen? We can sit and have a little chat." Xiao Zhan said while noticing Mr. Xiao's expression.

"Now go sit with him in the drawing room and talk and you go and prepare tea and snacks and I'll go and bring Cheng ge." Xiao Zhan said excitedly and left.

"You go ahead." Mrs. Xiao said.

"Yes, I am going" Mr. Xiao said.

Xiao Zhan entered in his room and found Cheng sitting on bed thinking something deeply.

"Why are you always sitting so depressed at home?" Xiao Zhan asked annoyingly.

"Come on!! Let's go downstairs, put on some decent clothes." Xiao Zhan said and went to the cupboard and started checking clothes.

"Why?" Zhou Cheng asked surprisingly.

"Is this fine? Wear this, okay?" Xiao Zhan said while showing a blue shirt to Zhou Cheng.

"Dad is calling you downstairs. Kuan gege is here. Wear this, okay?
Hurry up, get up, what are you doing? Wear this, Alright." Xiao Zhan said.

Huikuan and Mr. Xiao were sitted in the drawing room.

"How is your business coming along dear? Mr. Xiao said lovingly.

"It's going well uncle." Kuan replied with a smile.

"Is Tong(Huikuan's dad) doing fine?" Mr. Xiao asked smilingly.

"Yes, what about you?" Huikuan asked back.

"I am alright" Mr. Xiao answered.

From the door Xiao Zhan peeped and made a sound a sound 'shhshiiii'

Mr. Xiao turned to the direction of the sound and found Zhan standing there with a wide grin.

"I'll be right back." Mr. Xiao said to Huikuan.

"What's the matter son?" Mr. Xiao wispers.

"What are you doing?" Xiao Zhan wispers back.

"I am sitting with Huikuan." Mr. Xiao wispers.

"Okay fine but now you can leave." Xiao Zhan wispers.

"I should go back then?" Mr. Xiao wispers and gestured to move towards drawing room.

"What?" Xiao Zhan asked.

"You mean I should go back and sit with Kuan?" Mr. Xiao asked.

"NO, go somewhere else. Just don't sit over with him. Go and check on mom." Xiao Zhan said hurriedly.

"What do you mean son? What are you talking about?" Mr. Xiao asked annoyingly.

"Cheng ge is coming dad. He won't be able to talk in front of you, he'll be uncomfortable. Try to understand." Xiao Zhan said trying to understand his Dad.

"I have told you before this is not a right thing to do." Mr. Xiao said strictly.

"Okay, you can scold me later. But right now go please go." Xiao Zhan said pleadingly.

Xiao Zhan went to drawing room and sat beside Huikuan.

"You have no idea how difficult it was for me to get rid of Dad." Xiao Zhan said heaving a sigh.

"Remember this favor of mine I have done for you guys. Hey look Kuan ge, Cheng ge is coming." Xiao Zhan said excitedly.

"Hello" Huikuan said and stand from the sofa.

"Hello!! Please have a seat." Zhou Cheng said.

"Yeah!! So how are you?" Huikuan asked smilingly.

"I am fine. What about you?" Zhou Cheng asked back.

"I am good." Huikuan answered with a sweet smile.

Then there was silent filled in the room. None of them was saying anything. Xiao Zhan was turning his from Zhou Cheng to Huikuan and watching them in disbelief as both of them were with their gaze down staring the floor.

"Wow!! I didn't know our carpets are so pretty that both of you are continuously staring at them." Xiao Zhan said with a mocking tone.

"Listen both of you, please talk to each other. Don't ruin my plan okay? I am leaving now thank you." Xiao Zhan said and left.

Once again silence filled in the room. Both of them were sitting silently. Then Huikuan looked at Zhou Cheng. He cleared his throat.

"I know meeting like this is awkward but since I have the opportunity I will let you know a bit about myself.

I'm a very simple person. In the modern world I would be considered a very boring person. I don't have many friends and I prefer staying at home after work. I don't have many activities to do.

I'm a straight forward person and I'm very emotional about my relationships. But I can assure you one thing that you would nit have any problem in my house and I would only have one expectation from you.." Huikuan said while looking at Zhou Cheng.

"That you would give me respect. That's all." Huikuan completed but Zhou Cheng remained silent.

"I should go now." Huikuan said and was about to stand up when Xiao Zhan came and sat beside him.

"Are you guys done talking?" Xiao Zhan asked Huikuan.
Huikuan smiled and nodded his head.

Then Xiao Zhan turned to Zhou Cheng and asked Huikuan " Did he even say anything?"

Huikuan just smiled.

[Well!! Huikuan didn't gave Zhou Cheng a chance to talk🙄]

"Well!! Kuan ge, you have to come to my college on Monday." Xiao Zhan said.

"Why?" Huikuan asked.

"I have a performance but mom and Dad isn't coming. So you have to attend it with Cheng ge." Xiao Zhan said smilingly.

"No" Huikuan and Zhou Cheng said in unison.

"Why?" Xiao Zhan asked with a pout.

Huikuan chuckled on Xiao Zhan's cuteness.

"Sorry Zhan but I have some work on Monday, so I can't come." Huikuan said.

"Okay" Xiao Zhan sadly whispered.

"Ahh!! Don't be sad I'll visit you in the evening." Huikuan said with a smile.

"Okay" Xiao Zhan beamed a smile.

Then Xiao Zhan turned to Zhou Cheng.

"And what's with you? Why you can't come?" Xiao Zhan asked Zhou Cheng.

"Umm.. I have some work to do." Zhou Cheng said.

"No one loves me. Every one have their work. No one have time for me." Xiao Zhan said dramatically.

"Zhan, stop your drama." Zhou Cheng said and rolled his eyes.

Huikuan chuckled on the interaction of the brothers.

Meanwhile Mr. Xiao and Mrs. Xiao were in their bedroom.

"This boy has really gone too far this time. Is this a way you invite someone to your home? This was a very bad thing done by Zhan." Mr. Xiao said in a strict tone.

"Only he had the guts to do this. Although, there was nothing wrong with what he did." Mrs. Xiao tried to support Xiao Zhan.

"If this isn't wrong then what is it?" Mr. Xiao asked loudly.

"Keep your voice down, what's the matter with you?
You also be glad they didn't meet outside secretly. They could have done that too, couldn't they?" Mrs. Xiao tried to reasoned.

"Besides that, they(Huikuan and Zhou Cheng) are getting married soon, its important for them to talkto each other and understand each other.
And there's nothing wrong in doing this inside your own home." Mrs. Xiao continued.

"Well!! They could have given us importance and told us what their plan is" Mr. Xiao tried to argue.

"So that you would refuse.
Maybe that's why they didn't tell us." Mrs. Xiao replied.

Well!! That's gift no. 3 and next one is Confession but till now I didn't start writing it and tomorrow my friends have arranged a party for me so I won't be able to write it. But I'll update it in this week.

And I was thinking to drop one or two stories on hold for sometime. Then I could focus on another stories and end then soon. What do you think?
