Love Shouldn't Hurt

This part of the story may contain spoilers, but it is advised to read it before continuing.

My second published book. Wow!

This book was honestly a sad one to write. I'm not saying that this book is full of sad scenes and breakups, there were happy parts in it. Really. But this was also the first time I cried while writing something. People write to get out of the mental stress in their life. So do I. But this book took a toll on me. I'm not trying to scare you or anything, this book is not a horror story. Its just got topics bigger than all of us. You'd understand it if you read the 2nd chapter of the book

Zara (the protagonist) is a lot like me. I am not gonna elaborate on that, but there are parts among both of us where we couldn't have been more different. I didn't support mostly all or some of her decisions, so writing this book had become a mental struggle. Whatever Zara goes through in this book is similar to something my mom went through. I can never imagine what going through something like that felt. But now that I have written this book I have had a little idea of what sort of pain she may have been in, I honestly salute my mom for that.

Before you continue with this book let me tell you a few things that you have to know. I'm an honest teenager and I took a very grave topic in this book. A topic so grave that I was really young to write and understand. I stood with it anyway and wrote my way through all the heartache and anxiety. I hope I could do the topic justice. The reason I'm not mentioning what the topic is because it's for you to read and find out. But please don't flood me with hate comments just because you didn't like my book. So my advice will be please don't continue with my book if you don't like bittersweet endings.

Facts:

The incidents of this book take place before the epilogues of Need A Friend. And though it is a spinoff, it has absolutely no connection to the original storyline of Need A Friend and can be read a s a standalone.

The story is divided in 3 parts. book one, two and three. all these will be in this book. The story place place in 2019. though in the some chapters there are a few flashbacks from 2011.

First I would like to thank you readers for thinking my book is worth enough to spend time reading it.

Next I'd like to thank my mother for bringing me to planet Earth. Her sacrifices and compromises has brought me wherever I am today, and I can't express in words how her support and bravery has inspired me every day. I love you Mamma.

Third is obviously my stupid friend Marian(aurnee2005) who has literally shaped this book for me. From late night articles to writing tips, she has done it all to make sure my book is what I wanted it to be. (Thank you, you dumbass.)

Love Shouldn't Hurt (LSH) is my second book but without the excitement that Saiyara() had for it, I wouldn't have been able to finish it. She literally texted me every week to know if I was still writing it. Nuha(mush004), you had the job of making aesthetics for me and they turned out marvelous. Without your wise words and great skills of being relatable sister, I don't know what I would have done.

Thanks Areebah (areebahafzal), for, I don't know, being my literal sister from another mother? You were the first person ever to read my drafts and your comments were ❤❤❤

And dear Taza-Ullahu-Mullah Tupa!(TajrianMahabub) Your awesome skill of never replying to my messages on time had absolutely no contribution to this book. But I am still thanking you because your frequent writer's blocks' gave me the strength to finish yet another book.

This acknowledgement is getting big, but I want it to be big.

This is the person who should have been on the acknowledgement of my first book. But, to be honest, she has an even bigger role in this second book. At a time when I was going through too much pressure, you were there for me, Mithila(RatnaDas1). Even though you had problems of your own, you were there. You have been super supporting. Can't thank you enough for the life of me.

Next would be my dear friends Nameera, Anusha and Raida(Raidasara) for I don't know, existing, I guess!? And thanks to my dear readers of Need A Friend: PatienTsN22To1GayatrikothuriAnamwritesHavanah_Reverie and many more!

And last but not the least, my concluding thanks goes to Colleen Hoover (). Your novels gave me a reason to smile and something to look forward to in my ongoing teenage years. Your books are the inspiration behind Love Shouldn't Hurt.

These are all the wonderful achievements and love this book has got. And I've got to admit, it doesn't hurt to watch all this love!

Not Only has LSH won these awards, it has been showered with love from all over the world from readers and critics.

"I love the book cover!...First glance at the title and I already love it! What's so amazing is that it's interesting and brings out questions about the story, and it's also such a fact...First off, wow. The way you started off the chapter with a quote, and then continuing to talk about her mother's death really got me! Both the quote and the first paragraph related to each other, and were both equally deep. I really like the start, and the ending was definitely really good as well!"--Judge, Finale Spirited Awards, hosted by  HouseofSorceries.

"I highly recommend this book. I personally loved reading it. The plot has depth and the storyline is good." - Bailey Hibdon (Bailey_Hibdon), Waterfall Awards.

"It is nice to see a truly flawed main character. i didn't like the character much, but that was part of her appeal. She is abrasive, but it is easy to tell that she isn't actually a bad person. So, overall great character development." -- Duncana (Duncana1003), The Strawberry Milkshake Awards.

"...[It] is such a good book, I enjoyed reading this book, I love this book and love the cover... I'm so glad you wrote this book, I think [this] is a talented book and deserves more views than it already has." -- Olivia (livykittykat), The Blast Choice Awards.

I am honestly thankful to every single person who has picked my book out of the millions that are in wattpad and decided to read it. You all put a smile on my face very time I see your names.
