"Alexis! Alexis! Wake up!"

Alexis quickly sat up and opened her eyes to the burning lights.
She dubbed her eyes.
"What? What's going on?"

Moriah smiled.
"Come on, sleepy head! We have plans today?"
Moriah walked away and entered the bus kitchen.
Alexis got up, yawned and rubbed her eyes again.
"What plans?"

Joel appeared behind her and kissed her forehead.
"We are going to have family time!"

Alexis sat down at the tiny table, Moriah served her bacon and eggs.
Alexis quickly said grace and took a bite of her food.
"Why?"

Moriah stopped flipping the eggs, and Joel looked up from his newspaper.
Moriah trued to act normal.
"Because we haven't had time together."

"Oh." Alexis ate her food again. Joel and Moriah sighed in relief. Alexis finished and headed to the bathroom to get ready.

Joel looked at Moriah, as she sat down with her plate.
She looked down at it, biting her lip because it hurt her heart not telling Alexis the truth.

Joel let his hand fall on top of Moriah's hand. Moriah looked up and looked into Joel's eyes. She smiled and felt a bit better.

Alexis left the bathroom and appeared in the hallway.

She was ready for today.

"The mall?!"
Joel yelled in the car as they parked in the mall's parking lot.

Moriah was driving, so she tapped on the stirring wheel with her fingers, excited.
Alexis's smile grew even bigger and she squealed, "Yay!"
Joel just groaned and opened the door to get out.

Alexis and Moriah speed walked to the main entrance.
Joel dragged himself to catch up, he wasn't that excited to go shopping.

"Come on, dad!"
Alexis yelled as she got into the escalator.
Joel dragged his foot on a step and groaned.

This was going to be a long day!

"Finally! Something fun!"
Joel said as he, Moriah, and Alexis walked onto the food court.

Moriah rolled her eyes, but still smiled.
"Your lucky your handsome."
Joel grinned.
"I know."
Moriah playfully hit Joel's arm, and Joel laughed.

Alexis walked over to some tables and sat down.
"Wow, I'm exhausted."
Joel smirked.
"Oh, it must have been the shopping. I don't know how women do it."
Joel lowered his voice and his accent stood out.
"The world may never know."

Alexis and Moriah laughed. They were having a good day so far.

They headed and stood in line and ordered their food.

"Hey, pass the popcorn."

Joel whispered at Alexis. She just kept her eyes on the screen and passed it to Joel, taking a hand full herself.
Moriah had tissues and wiped her tears.

They were watching "God's Not Dead 2."

Joel stuffed popcorn in his face, and Alexis reached to get some.
Joel quickly moved the bag.
"No junk food, that's bad."

He ate some, and Alexis glared at him.
"I paid for that."
Joel kept looking at the movie.
"And I'm eating that."
Alexis took the bag and quickly ate some. Joel whispered.
"Hey! Those are mine!"
Alexis kept them away.
"Not anymore!"

They were interrupted by the shushing from the people behind and infront of them.
Moriah glared at Joel and Alexis.

Joel and Alexis gave a nervous smile at the same time. Then Joel pointed at Alexis.
"She started it."
Alexis looked at Joel, her mouth wide open.
"No I didn't! You started it!"

Moriah interuppted with shushing. She whispered.
"I don't care who started it! I'm finishing it!"
She snatched the popcorn away and ate it all by herself.
Joel and Alexis looked at her, their mouths open.
They yelled-whispered at the same time.
"Hey."

Moriah handed them an empty bucket of popcorn. She smirked and whispered back.
"Told you I would finish it."
She stuck her tongue out and watched the movie.

Joel and Alexis looked at each other, gave up, and looked back at the movie.

"Well, here we are!"

Joel said as he parked on the side of the road.

It was about eight at night, and lights began to turn on.

Alexis looked out the backseat window, her eyes sparkled.
"The fair?!"

Joel proudly smiled.
"Yes, the fair."
Alexis squealed.
"YAY!"

Moriah and Joel covered their ears and laughed at Alexis's reaction.
They opened their doors and headed to the ticket stand.

And let's just say, the night was pretty crazy.

Joel got lost in the house of mirrors, Moriah was stuck at the top of the ferris wheel, and Alexis ate alot before getting on the tornado.
Let's just say, Joel finally found out where his Reeses were.

Joel carried a sleeping Alexis in his arms, placing her gently in her bed.

He smiled.
Moriah touched his shoulder.
He turned around and held both her hands.
Moriah kissed his cheek.

"If this was our last moment together, I'm glad I can spend it with you two."

They kissed.
