The force from the collision sent a shock wave through the city.

I don't know what made me want to take Hades for myself but after seeing Toni, I was dead certain. This was what it all led up to. The two lovers, the key points in this story, fighting to save the world, Hades and Zoe.

"It was good that you sent the gods away." Hades said as his giant brought his staff and collided it with my giants swords. "It means I can destroy Olympus right after I kill them all again."

It was unexplainable how I controlled this giant form of godly energy. Sometimes I swung my arm and it mirrored the image or I simply thought about the motion and she did it. That was good anyways since I didn't have time to figure out how to handle Nyx's giant.

"I don't think you'll be getting there anytime soon." With the staff being held with one sword, I swiped his chest with the other sending him back. "If anything one would say you are losing this battle."

He jumped back and swung his staff. I jumped back and my left arm caught on a building making a dent. A thought occurred to me. I grabbed the building and tore it from the earth and threw it at Hades. Hades swotted it away like a cricket shot. I rushed him again sending a blade through his shoulder.

"Gah!" Hades stumbled and punched me away, the blade coming out too. "You know, I expected you to be a problem, but I never expected you to fight."

He said while he came at me with his staff again. He swung, I blocked. He swung again, I blocked. I struck, he deflected.

"You didn't think I'd want Jake back, you didn't think I would fight. News flash, Hades, I'm here now." I said as I punched him hard.

He flew, his hands extended trying to grab a building that would help him gain balance but nothing. His arms had gone straight through many buildings before he stopped.

He sat up onto his knees and threw me a smile." It will take half the pain Jake's had to fight me and twice as much of his pain to beat me. I don't even have twice of it, and you will neve-"

He suddenly grasped his neck. His eyes filled with confusion and pain. Then realization dawned his face. He mumbled no's and started coughing and heaving. He slowly shrunk as he doubled over.

I heard footsteps and saw Psyche running to me. She eyed Hades warily.

"What's happening with him?" she asked.

"I don't know. He was talking about how much pain was needed to defeat him and then that happened." I shrugged.

Hades continued to heave and cough and suddenly an entire forearm shot out of his mouth. He straightened in surprise and his eyes widened. The forearm bent and pushed on Hades face. His mouth spilt wider as another arm shot out. Then the arms pushed out a boy covered in saliva.

Jake.

As soon as his legs came out of Hades mouth, a sound came and blasted Hades farther down the street.

Jake stood up and tried wiping some saliva off him. His eyes were their normal warm black, his skin fair and glowing, his teeth were still skew but to me it was a glorious sight. I say all this but what actually happened was me standing, gawking at the sight of my boyfriend.

He was naked for a moment before clothes appeared on. He wore a low opening, long sleeved, grey shirt with jeans. He desperately tried to get the saliva off him before catching my eye.

"Hey", He waved.
