Taehyung's evening was quite uneventful if he says so himself. Because the first buzzer of the day and Seulgi was going on a date with a boy of her choice. He wasn't sure if she would choose him even though they did talk about going on a date last night but he has no idea how serious they were.

As expected, Taehyung wasn't chosen by her for the date. Instead she chose the boy who he didn't want her to choose. Obviously it was no other than Jeon Jeongguk himself. The guy seriously has so many charms to him because almost every girl fancies him.

He tried to not be upset about the date, it's just a silly date and Jeongguk loves him. He has nothing to worry about. Though he won't lie, the whole situation with Sooyoung and Jeongguk did make him a little insecure at times.

How fast she was able to sweep Jeongguk away from him truly shook him. He fears that might happen again and he really doesn't want it to happen, that's the worst thing he had to go through in this Villa. So only positive vibes for now.

The date was being held on a yacht, They had settled on a dining system there. Both Seulgi and Jeongguk were understandably surprised by how fancy this date was.

Though it wasn't Jeongguk's first time on a yacht, it was definitely his first time on a date on a yacht. They both sat down and started slowly converse into small talk as they took sips of the expensive wine sitting on the table.

Seulgi was actually fun to be out with. She showed interest in him so just to not be a dickhead, he took mutual interest in her. Whenever she would go on a rant, Jeongguk wasn't able to help but think about Taehyung instead.

Jeongguk loves him so much that he wants to always be with him. He wishes it was him he was on a date with instead of this girl who was wasting her energy on him. Jeongguk replied in between, showing that he's still listening. Throwing a few jokes here and there to make her laugh and make this date a bit more interesting.

Thankfully the food came and he didn't have to talk for a while. Going back to small conversations. The overall date was pretty nice, she was a great girl but he had zero interest. Maybe if he wasn't thinking about Taehyung the whole time he would have been able to enjoy it more.

They did spend awfully a lot of time together and the destination to the sea was quite far away.  So by the time they got back to the Villa it was already night. His only wish is to go inside and hug Taehyung.  Jeongguk  missed him so much. Gosh, he's getting so clingy.

Instead they were asked to head to confessionals first and talk about their date individually, he let Seulgi go in first because he is a gentleman and he also heard her say very nice things about him as he waited outside.

Returning the favor when they asked him about the date and his opinion on Seulgi. He tried to confuse the audience by saying how he had more fun with her than he did with Sooyoung because why not? He gave something to people to talk about.

Leaving the Confessionals shortly after, However when they entered the back side, Jeongguk wasn't able to hug Taehyung because he knew it would look strange to hug him out of nowhere, He will wait until they are alone together.

The girls took Seulgi to their side so Jeongguk was also made to go and sit with the boys so they could discuss his date. He sat down in the middle of Jaewon and Taehyung. Leaning towards Taehyung to have him close to him.

They started to ask him questions on how the date was. Did he like her? Did he like her more than Sooyoung? and all those questions. He answered vaguely, not giving out too much but he replied in a positive manner and giving Seulgi the credit she deserves for carrying their date on her back.

He also might have slipped how this was refreshing and it was nice to go on a date with someone new. It was a dig against Sooyoung but Jeongguk was worried for a second because he doesn't want Taehyung to think he's talking about him.

Though the guy was expressionless and wasn't too interested in knowing anything more, Jeongguk took it as a good sign.

The conversation died down and they all went to grab dinner, the night was passing by fast and they got hungry. Having dinner together, Jeongguk even put some of his meat pieces on Taehyung's plate. Making the older man give him a heart-stopping smile.

These small moments mean the world to him. He feels greedy asking for more but he gets humbled real quick.

"Hey Taehyung, can we talk?" Joohyun who suddenly came towards them asked.

"Sure." Taehyung was going to grab his dishes but Jeongguk told him to just go and he will handle it.

Taehyung thanked him before following Joohyun inside the Villa. He sighed in disappointment. There he goes again, leaving him all alone. He isn't complaining, he just finds something off about those two together.

He also wasn't the only one feeling off about this situation, Taehyung was too. He followed Joohyun inside but she didn't take him to the lounge or bedroom where you would usually want to talk but in some unfamiliar hallways inside this big villa.

They stopped in this one hallway on the west wing, this hallway had a dead room with no rooms and only one camera in the corner. No one probably comes here, he's confused why he is here?

"turn off your microphone." Joohyun told him, grabbing hers from her back and turning it off.

"Why? What are we doing here?" He turned him off but he still had questions.

"I wanted to talk about something important and it can't be in front of cameras. Though there is one here but it has no voice feature installed. Don't ask me how I know, it's a long story." She sat down on the floor with her back next to the wall,tapping on the floor to signal him to sit too.

"I'm going to start from the top. The day we 'broke up' because of Jin, I only coupled up with him because I didn't want to hurt you." Joohyun started but she was already losing.

"That makes no sense."

"Because I'm not done yet. I never liked Jin romantically, We had sexual chemistry and that's about it to that. You were truly the one I always liked more but I think along the way I realized my feelings for you weren't romantic at all. Whenever we kissed, I didn't feel sparks, no offense you are a nice kisser but I wasn't feeling it. So I tried to scare you away by saying I liked you earlier but instead you were so respectful about it, it made me feel worse." Joohyun claimed, her head looking down at her lap.

"So I realized I have to choose another guy if I don't want you to fall for me. We were getting really close in those days and I got scared and just started throwing myself at Jin so you will get over me. I'm sorry if you liked me that way or were hurt by my actions, those were never my intentions." She said to him as she made eye contact with him.

"Don't apologize,I will be honest with you too. I feel the same way as you do, I too along the way realized my feelings for you were never romantic but more of friendly. Though I did feel really upset by Jin's situation because you betrayed my trust but hearing your reasoning you did that to save me heart break. So I'm ready to move past that too, I forgive you." He put his arms around shoulder and rubbed them with a grin on both of their faces.

"Thank you for forgiving me. It's good to know we both never liked each other more than friends because what we had was 100% real. Though that's not why I'm here."

"There's more?"

"Yeah so um, me and Seojun aren't on good terms right now. We fought and I don't think we are compatible as a couple, I am not feeling him. So I am about to suggest something crazy please hear me out before asking."

"I'm scared, what is it?" Taehyung asked her, looking at with a nervous expression.

"So I was thinking we should fake date."

"Have you gone insane? Are you giving up on love?"

"Yes, I have and I'm genuine about that feeling. I don't think Love Roulette has what I want so I'm giving up. I am pretty sure you have given up on love too considering how your strongest relationship was with me and we both know how that turned out." Joohyun did make valid points.

If only he could tell her, he did not give up and he did find love here,just not in a woman. So he decided to play along to see how it goes.

"That's very unfortunate for us but right I guess. I have kinda given up."

"Yeah, me too but I don't want to go home just yet. I want to go to the finale, Taehyung, I really do. My career is in shambles and this show can potentially give me publicity and help me come out of slump. I need this push."

"I understand all that but how will this benefit me?"

"Taehyung, Do you want to go home or go to the finals?"

"Well finals definitely."

"Then fake date with me. See the big picture Taehyung, You said the audience saved you, you are popular and I'm linked with you a lot so I'm sure my popularity is in the same place. If we get together, we would be an unstoppable force. Because we don't only have fans on our side but our story of 'fated lovers always find their way back to each other' would get us to the end of this game. I'm damn confident we can win, if not, being in the top 4 will be super amazing too."

She truly had her way with the words because she was slowly convincing Taehyung. They now have the same aim, though she doesn't know why he wants to win but who cares? That's not important right now.

The plan she's talking about does sound promising. His popularity aside, their dynamic would bring so much views and clout to them. They were in love once and another man made them have that very public messy so called break up, Time apart they realized they truly only loved each other. Everyone would eat this up.

Joohyun is right, If they play their cards right they can definitely win. He is kind of in shock how good this is all for him. This was what he was hoping for all along and now this who he wanted all along is the one begging him to join on this fake dating journey with her.

Finally his luck is coming in handy and he would stupid to turn away from such deal so he decide to shake hands with Joohyun.

"I am in, Let's do this, Fake girlfriend!!"

Taehyung grabbed Jeongguk's arm, pulling him inside the storage room. Pecking his lips before he made him sit down on the floor next to him.

"I missed you so so much." Taehyung said to the boy who felt the same.

"not more than me, I was going crazy without you. Seeing you again puts my heart at ease." Jeongguk replied and he was so smooth with it.

"You are cheesy but I'm glad. Though I have something important to talk about."

"What?"

"We should talk about us, You know now that I'm staying and I really don't want to give up" Taehyung told Jeongguk, his head on Jeongguk's shoulders.

"Are we going to break up again?" Jeongguk joked around but even as a joke that hurts.

"No! never again. I want to win the game but no desire to win is bigger than the love I have for you. Losing you again will...hurt me a lot so I can't have that. This is why I want us to talk, to come to a middle ground about this situation."

"OK, So you want us to be together and you also want to continue with your strategy. I don't care about that, I only care about us. Treat me right and I wouldn't give a fuck what you are doing to win this game." Jeongguk was pretty open minded about this.

"That's great but we still need boundaries. I promise I won't neglect you and prioritize us over anything, I love you too much to not have you by my side. For both of us to stay here we need the girls, so with the girls no more than Pecking and that is also if it's really  necessary otherwise no. I don't want to see you make out with other girls and I would do the same too. We already have meals together and meet like 2 times a day in this nasty room, we can also have subtle touches throughout the day. Don't want people to get too suspicious of us."

"Yeah, that sounds good. You really thought this through ha? You want me that bad?"

"You know the answer to that. Sorry though, because of me you have to hide yourself and I really don't want you to feel like you're back in the closet so please if you can't handle it just tell me. If you want to leave, tell me I wouldn't try to hold you back because that's the least I can do for you after this huge favor." Taehyung apologized to him, A pout on his face that Jeongguk kissed away.

"Hey, I am still here at my own free will. Sure it does get hard sometimes but you make it all worth it, darling. Don't feel too bad, I would never leave you again. Besides we don't have a lot of weeks left in this Villa, I was able to stay for so long I can stay a bit more." Jeongguk shared with Taehyung, hugging him to tell him he would always stay.

Taehyung was truly grateful to be with a man as amazing as Jeongguk. He truly hit a jackpot with this one because even with all his exes he never felt the way he's feeling right now. This is the happiest he has been for awhile.

He figured he should also share his conversation with Joohyun he had earlier because that's the best case scenario for him at this moment and he had agreed to it. It's better if Jeongguk knows too.

"Another thing, I talked with Joohyun and she proposed a really nice plan for her and me."

"Plan?"

"Yes, she said she wants to choose me on the next recoupling!"

"What? Does she still like you?" Jeongguk had so many questions.

"That's where the best part comes. She wants us to go on a fake date. She told me things aren't working out with her and Seojun and she considers me her best friend so I'm the best candidate for this fake dating plan." Taehyung told him and Jeongguk was amazed.

"That is great but what is in it for her? I can't see how this is beneficial for her."

"Jeongguk, please be serious. She's like me, she wants to win too. She wants to stay here and she believes we both can make it to the top four at least. I am going to be honest I was planning to hit on Seulgi because she's my last chance but Joohyun just changed everything for me. Isn't this such great news? I wouldn't even have to kiss her or worry about making her and me work. We just have to pretend we are in love with each other."

"That is truly nice, I can't believe that worked out for you so well. You and Joohyun being together will definitely make viewers go crazy. I also wouldn't have to see my man kissing another woman because she's in the same boat as you. Wow, that's good." Jeongguk was happy for Taehyung, things were finally working out.

"I know. I think you should do something about Sooyoung too. Both of you are like acquaintances now."

"Yeah because you are on my mind 24/7, I don't even have time to talk to her." Jeongguk said, making Taehyung giggle.

"I love that. Survive with her as much as you can. How was your date with Seulgi though? She's super into you." Taehyung tried not to be jealous about it.

"She was alright. Nothing compares to you, I think you don't give me enough credit. I think too much about you and you were the only thing on my mind on our date. She's a nice girl, very straightforward, a little touchy but yeah I pretended to be into her too just to make our date look interesting." Jeongguk confessed to Taehyung.

"Look who is thinking strategy now, I'm a bad influence on you, Gukkie. But great, I want to be the only thing you think about. " Taehyung got on Jeongguk's lap, grabbing his arms and putting them around his own waist.

"Trust me, there's no one else but you who clouds my mind with such sinful thoughts I wouldn't share with anyone." Jeongguk looked up at the guy who was giving him sex eyes right.

Grabbing Jeongguk by his chin and smashing their lips together into a kiss. Jeongguk immediately kissed him back, making their lips move against each other. Taehyung put his arms around Jeongguk's neck and pulled him closer to himself.

Kissing alone can turn him on so much, It is truly so insane to him how much this guy has an effect on him. Grinding his hips on Jeongguk's lap, his mind filled with lust and nothing else.

Things did eventually end up escalating but nothing too much to write home about. Just a little kissing, touching and pleasuring each other with hands. It was truly a night to remember.
