The cocktail party thankfully went very smoothly. They didn't have to worry about new contestants coming in or surprise dumping as that's the greatest fear in this place.

Another thing, the most important thing that Taehyung came to terms with is, even though Jeongguk is indeed really handsome and amazing and really charming and a great kiss- ok he is getting off track. Even though he's nice, he can't be getting too close to him because he's his biggest competition right now.

He can't risk his game just because of some pretty boy. Though keep your friends close and enemies closer. So he will get close with him but only in front of cameras. He is being fake but He doesn't care. The main purpose of coming here is to win, Love and friendships can wait.

He also has to keep tabs on everyone else and their relationship so when it comes to elimination,he knows which couple is the biggest threat to him.

Though he definitely doesn't need to worry about Jimin and Nabi because only a day inside this place and Nabi is already all over Jeongguk on the day beds. Jeongguk who is trying to get that sunlight is being interrupted by Nabi who is sitting on the edge of the daybed with her hands caressing Jeongguk's legs.

Taehyung takes his water bottle and decides he's going to pay them a visit. Making his way towards the daybed and going to the opposite side,lying right next to Jeongguk.

"What's up guys?" Taehyung asked them,taking a sip from his bottle. Nabi glanced at him and smiled.

"Me and Jeongguk were talking about how beautiful the view is,don't you think so?" Nabi pointed towards the great view they could see from the daybed.

"Yeah I can see that,it really is pretty relaxing here. Hey Nabi, would you mind grabbing me some sunscreen from my room?" Taehyung told her.

Making it a bit obvious. Jeongguk chuckled,looking at Taehyung and then back to Nabi who didn't ask another question and went to do what he asked.

"So…do you like her?" Taehyung questioned Jeongguk,getting straight to the point.

Jeongguk turned towards Taehyung,making eye contact with him as he pushed his hair back with his fingers. "Who? Nabi? Yeah she's hot.."

"You don't sound sincere,come on, tell me what's up? We kissed yesterday,we have gotten close. I'm pretty sure I can ask you this" He tried to break the ice between them.

"Ofcourse,I do consider us to be somewhat close. Nabi…she's pretty hot obviously but like…I don't wanna step on anybody's toes, she's coupled up with Jimin and he really likes her so I don't know"

"Jeongguk, you have to step on someone's toes either way. Also I don't think anyone would mind too much if you take their girl right now because we are still too new to all this. This is literally the second day here so yeah go for who you want" Taehyung assured him, trying to be his wingman.

he saw how Jeongguk's gaze went down from his eyes to his lips. He saw the hesitant look on his face before he spoke. "You think so? no one would mind?"

"Yeah ofcourse not. If you are worried about Nabi…she already is showing a lot of interest in you so yeah go for it,man" He patted Jeongguk's shoulder. From the corner of his eyes he saw Nabi coming back with a sunscreen bottle in her hands.

"Thanks for this,hyung. I can call you Hyung right?" Jeongguk asked with a charming smile on his face. Taehyung nodded. "ofcourse now, act normal she's coming back" 

Nabi came back and stood next to the bed,noticing the sudden silence between the two boys. She rolled her eyes because she's not dumb they were definitely talking about her.

Instead of sitting next to Jeongguk she walked over to Taehyung's side. "Do you want me to put it on your back?" She asked.

"You would be such a sweetheart to do so,let me turn-" Taehyung was cut off by the buzzer. He almost cursed because that scared him "Great,What is it now?" Nabi asked,seeming just as annoyed as Him.

"Dear Contestants, Jeongguk would now choose 2 people to take on a date to help him choose who he wants to couple tonight. Jeongguk,please choose now and get ready to get out of the villa" The robotic voice came through the speaker with another alert.

Other contestants started to cheer for Jeongguk who just smiled and sighed.  He looked over at Nabi who was looking at him in anticipation. "Nabi,do you want to go on a date with me?" He asked in front of everyone.

"Ofcourse!!!" She answered enthusiastically. The bottle from her hand was snatched by Bora. Where did she come from?

"Have fun on your date,guess I will have to do this for my partner now" She smiled but it was so obviously fake.

The other girl didn't respond,instead she was taken away by Yeri and Jia to the dressing room so they could help her get ready for the date. Even Jeongguk had walked off inside to wear something else too because he is not going to go on a date in just beach shorts.

The older boy just laid down on his back. "Come on Princess,Help me out" He spoke to Bora. Who happily straddled his back. Sitting on his back as she took the sunscreen out of the bottle and smeared it on her hands.

Putting her hands to work and spreading it on Taehyung's back,She made sure to grab his shoulders and give them a little push, Massaging them softly yet a bit harsh. Groans left Taehyung's mouth. She was quite good at this.

"You are really good at this,I never asked your Occupation. What do you do?" He asked her. She giggled while answering. " I am an Air hostess"

"Oh really? that's so cool. No wonder you are this good at servicing"

"Thank you,What about you?" She applied pressure to his back,making Taehyung groan once again.

"I am an advertising and promotion manager. It's a boring job but it pays all my bills so it works for me" He responded to her with his muffled voice because his face was buried in the pillow.

"I don't even know what that requires you to do but you are right as long as the bills are getting paid who cares. Though I have another question to ask you which is unrelated to all this" Bora was finally getting to what she came here for.

"Taehyung,if you keep groaning like that others are going to think you are having sex" Another voice came,he lifted his head to the side to see Jimin laying down on the other daybed next to them.

He chuckled in response. "Sorry bro,she's just too good" Taehyung said,Jimin put his sunglasses back on and turned the other way.

"Go ahead with your question"

"Do you by any chance…like Nabi? It's early days and it's alright if you do so,I don't want to waste my time if you don't like me" She went straight to the point.

"Woah woah where is this coming from?" He asked her,as he stopped her from applying the sunscreen.

Sitting now and facing bora who was avoiding eye contact. "It's just I saw you and nabi talk here and then she was going to do this for you if Jeongguk didn't call her for a date and this is really intimate if you ask me so I was just wondering" She pointed at the sunscreen when she talked about this.

"Bora,I don't like Nabi. She's an attractive girl don't get me wrong but you are more my type" He grabbed her hands and squeezed them to assure her. He can't believe he has to assure someone 2 day's in. He is in for a ride.

"Oh,good. That's great to hear actually,sorry for doubting you"

"Ofcourse not I get it. We all came here for Love and you should ask all the questions if it makes you trust me" He kissed her on the cheek and she shyly looked away. "Now I'm going to lay down,Wanna lay down next to me?" Taehyung asked,patting the space next to her.

She nodded vigorously. Both of them lay down on the daybed,with Bora's head on Taehyung's chest who closed his eyes. He might take a nap because he has nothing to do on this fine evening.

Or so he thought because less than ten minutes later the buzzer rang again. This buzzer is going to be the next thing he hates the most next to his alarm bell. "Oh for fucks sake" he muttered under his breath.

"Kim Taehyung, Jeongguk has chosen you for his second date. Please get ready to leave the villa" The robotic voice came and it single handedly shocked everyone here.

Including Taehyung who sat up with his eyes widened. he pointed towards himself unbelievably.

"Did I hallucinate that robot lady calling my name or did it happen for real?" Taehyung asked The others around him. Looking at Bora who was very confused.

"I think they did call your name. I didn't know that was possible,I mean I got nothing against you guys but like two guys on a date is a first here definitely" Jaewon tried not to sound homophobic and Taehyung agrees with him.

It Is indeed the first time this took place in the history of Love Roulette. Jimin laughed and smacked Taehyung's back playfully. "Well come on let's get you ready for a date, Taehyungie" Grabbing him by his arm and dragging him inside the villa so he can get changed.

He is done wearing something more approachable,he is ready to head out with his date. Jimin and Sangwoo, who helped him pick an outfit, give him a hug before he heads out. “Have fun on your date,Taehyung-ah” Sangwoo said to him.

“Yes,I can't wait to hear the details when you come back,this is all so amusing to me” Jimin patted his shoulder before pushing him out of the door to get out of the villa for his date. He waved at the boys as he was finally out of the gate.

His eyes fell on Jeongguk who was waiting for him,with his back leaning against the wall with his hands inside his cargo pants pocket,with his white shirt that hugged his body so perfectly,emphasizing his muscles. Taehyung gulped because he is human and he has eyes and God, Jeongguk is so nice to look at.

He locked his hands behind his back,walking to the younger boy who finally acknowledged his existence. His eyes immediately moved up and down Taehyung’s body. Checking him out shamelessly as he grabbed Taehyung by his arm and hugged him.

“You look amazing! This red button up compliments your honey skin a lot” He complimented Taehyung,who smiled into the hug. Pulling away with a smile.

“Thank You,you looked like a heart throb when i walked out of the Villa. Seriously,today is full of surprises” Taehyung gave the compliment back,following with a chuckle. “Thank you,shall we go then? This car will drive us to the park where we are supposedly having a picnic” He offered his hand to Taehyung.

Taking his hands in his own and leading the way to the car. He even opened the car door for Taehyung. What a gentleman indeed. Getting inside as Jeongguk got in from the other side. The driver started to drive them to their location.

Jeongguk looked around and sighed when finally looking at Taehyung. "Now that there are no cameras in this car,I have something to tell you"

"...What? You are scaring me" He responded a bit taken by the change in younger demeanor.

"So Director Min came to me once Nabi and my date was over and he told me to choose you for the next date" Jeongguk told him truthfully and Taehyung doesn't know why there's a small corner inside Taehyung that felt…disappointed.

"Oh wow,are you serious? and here I thought you had a crush on me" Taehyung joked around,definitely not liking this. Jeongguk forced a chuckle. "Are they really using us to queerbait the audience? That's a new low for them but we can't do anything about it. Can we?"

Taehyung doesn't know how he feels about his sexuality being used as a tool to queerbait the audience but…unfortunately and he feels like shit even thinking like this but this does give him more screen time…

"Unfortunately no. He said something about how when our kiss went viral and had a really good response from the major audience, they wanted to use that to pull more views" He explained it to Taehyung,who scoffed at that.

"And how long are they going to make us be 'interested' in each other? or do they think we would actually…develop feelings for eachother" He said it like it was impossible for that to happen. It didn't seem realistic if you ask Taehyung.

"Don't worry,Yoongi-sshi made it clear that by the end of this date we make it clear we are good as bros rather than lovers so he can get the fans who are rooting for us off his back" He explained it a bit more to the other boy.

"That's insane but good for us I guess. I mean Falling for a boy was probably not your plan coming into the love island,right?" He asked Jeongguk who looked straight into his eyes.

"I won't be opposed to it." He said it so confidently,Taehyung envied him. He has never been this confident with his real self. "But you are right, Us falling for eachother is kinda crazy"

"...Right yeah. Thanks for telling me though, they would have probably kept me in the dark if it wasn't for you"

"Ofcourse, I had to tell you. What if you actually fell for me" Jeongguk said jokingly, he rolled his eyes.

"You give yourself too much credit"

"Well I am quite charming,aren't I?" He shrugged with a smirk plastered on his face. He just chuckled and looked away to look outside the window.

The view was indeed nice, Bali was a really beautiful place,so much greenery,pleasant weather and water as blue as the sky it shined like it was filled with pearls. It did give him a bit of peace from the roller coaster of the conversation he just had and their date hadn't even started yet.

Thankfully, Just a few minutes later they arrived at the Park they were supposed to have their picnic on. The driver led them to the area where the whole set up was. Walking through the park with these big trees shadowing over them as leaves fell down because the wind rustled the trees.

The bushes alongside the pavement filled with beautiful and multicolored flowers. The air was so fresh it made breathing feel like privilege. 

Soon they reached the location and it was near the lake. They saw the whole filming crew already there,with their cameras and other equipment. The Cameras had already started rolling as it shot them walking toward the set up.

The picnic cloth was spread out with Just the perfect display of the food. There was a basket filled with sandwiches, A board full of fruits,Cupcakes in this beautiful tray and grape wine along with two glasses. It felt like it came right out of Pinterest.

"The view is so amazing." Jeongguk spoke up,Taehyung nodded,sitting down next to Jeongguk on the cloth. "It truly is and oh my god look at all this food it looks so good"

"You look like a child who is in Disneyland," Jeongguk joked around with him.

"What can I say? I'm a big foodie,Let's help ourselves shall we? Let me hand you a sandwich" He took out the sandwiches from the basket and gave one to Jeongguk and took one for himself.

He bit into it and all the flavors burst into his mouth. The sandwich was so tasty. The perfect balance of veggies and chicken with this sweet and spicy sauce inside. It truly was a great sandwich. He moaned accidentally because of how good it was.

Getting a strange look from Jeongguk but when he took a bite he understood the moan. They tried to eat quickly because cameras were rolling and they needed to talk.

"So Jeongguk, I am already shocked I'm sitting here with you on a date and we don't know anything about each other so tell me something about yourself, your family or anyone you love" Taehyung tried to start a conversation.

He put the sandwich down and grabbed the wine bottle while thinking of his answer. "Well there is not much about me if I am being honest. Uh, I have been raised by my father because my mother died when she gave birth to my baby sister. I have a lot of my father's qualities in me because of that,workaholic being one of them,Though they all live in Busan, I just moved to Seoul for work and stuff" Jeongguk shared a little something about himself. Pouring him and Taehyung some wine.

"Busan,makes sense. I noticed the dialect. Didn't you say you work under your father? How do you work under him despite being cities away?" He asked him another question while taking a sip from the wine.

"Well we have many branches in other cities,the main branch obviously in Busan and I'm managing the Seoul one."

"Holy shit, branches? You must be rich rich" Taehyung chuckled at that.

"We are…comfortable." He said jokingly.

"That's exactly what a rich person would say" He laughed at him,clinking their glass together and taking another sip. "Tell me about yourself" Jeongguk asked.

"Hm, My family isn't as interesting as yours. I am really close with my parents,especially my mom. She's my rock. Both of my parents are middle class people working middle class jobs. I am an only child so they invested in me as much as they could which is why I am as 'comfortable' in your words as I am right now. I am from Daegu though,just like you I moved to Seoul for work purposes. We should definitely hang out once we get out of here" Taehyung said to him,putting the glass down and grabbing some strawberries. "I also love strawberries"

"Good to know" He chuckled,getting some for himself too. "I also have a dog.He's a doberman and I named him Bam. He's like my child actually" Jeongguk shared with Taehyung, whose eyes immediately lit up in mention of the dog.

Putting his hands on Jeongguk's arm. "No way that's so cute. I also have a pomeranian dog,his name is Yeontan. He's literally my spoiled child,we should go on a dog date. I would love to meet bam. Taehyung's eyebrows literally were furrowed and his eyes were sparkling.

Jeongguk can't help but find this expression of the boy cute. "That sounds like a great idea. I would love to meet Yeontan too, he seems like a good boy"

"Not really He's really spoiled by me but he's my only child. Me and my parents have that part in common. But yeah we definitely have to do this" Taehyung was literally threatening Jeongguk at this point.

"OK,Let's play a game to see how compatible we are. I would say two things and at the count of 3 let's see if we choose the same things" Jeongguk gave them something to talk about and Taehyung immediately agreed. "Sounds great,OK start"

"OK let's start simple, Day or night. 1,2,3…Night"

"Day!" Taehyung answered but his face fell because they didn't say the same thing.

"Really, you like Day more? I find nights more comfortable" Jeongguk defended his answer and Taehyung shrugged. "It's whatever, Next one"

"Beach or Mountains, 1,2,3"

"Beach" They both said at the same time and grinned widely.

"Tea or coffee,1,2,3…coffee"

"Tea" Taehyung said once again, clashing. "I hate coffee, it's too bitter for me"

"You have the taste buds of a 5 year old but each to their own i guess, hm how about summer or winter,1,2,3.."

"Winter" Once again they agreed. "If you said summer that would have been a deal breaker honestly"

"You hate it that much?" Jeongguk asked him and Taehyung nodded.

"It's the worst. Can I try to ask now? Can we make this r-rated? sexual chemistry is important too you know" He asked the director who sighed and nodded.

Taehyung's smile was replaced by a smirk moving closer to Jeongguk as their arms were brushing past each other.

"OK Jeongguk. Dominate or be dominated" He said,making Jeongguk chuckle. "We are getting right into it?"

"Hell yeah we are. So 1,2,3…Be dominated"

"Dominate…..interesting" Jeongguk said once he realised their answer. The air had gotten thick around them.

"Very interesting" their eyes were doing all the talking they had to do at this point. "Jeongguk, Shower or kitchen table?" He asked once again.

The younger one laughed,tilting his head and gazed into Taehyung's eyes. "Shower" they both answered at the same time.

"Text or phone call,1,2,3" The fact this was r-rated immediately changed the meanings of these words.

"Phone." They said in unison. "I like to hear my partner's voice,it's just more helpful" and Taehyung couldn't agree more.

"Romantic or kinky,1,2,3"

"Romantic" He loves it when they agree on something. "I love to cherish my partner as much as I can while they are panting underneath me. I dont mind being kinky once in awhile" Jeongguk answered with an innocent smile on his face and Taehyung felt his stomach churn.

"Spit or swallow" Taehyung said immediately and from behind his head,Jeongguk could see the director shaking his head.

"Let's end this date here,shall we?" Jeongguk said,Taehyung burst out laughing and nodded. "You are right this is enough information for the today" It's better because tmore questions and the sexual tension would have gotten unbearable.

"All I got from this date is that we are really compatible when it comes to sex. I don't know what we should do about this information" Jeongguk told him,Offering his hand to Taehyung to get him up.

"I do but I fear we can't do that. Though all jokes aside I really had a lot of fun on this date, I didn't know you were this fun Jeongguk"

"There's a lot you don't know about me"

"Good for me,I have a lot of time to figure you out" Taehyung said to him with an innocent smile and Jeongguk had this sudden urge out of nowhere to kiss him again but then he remembered what the director said and he had to control himself.

If map didn't make sense, to get a better understanding of the Villa structure I would advise you to watch any love island intro. If you don't want to that's alright just to let you know, The firepit,day beds, swimming pool, other sitting areas are all in one place like in the big ass back yard. If you are in daybeds, someone sitting in the fire pit can see you and vice versa from all the other places I mentioned
