His last date was actually fun despite how it came to be and what happened afterwards. He hopes he can have more fun on this date.

The drive wasn't too long because in about ten minutes they reached their destination. They got out of the car and almost immediately the cool summer breeze hit their face. He took out his sunglasses and wore them.

Helping Joohyun get out of the car,once again holding her small hands in his own. The sun's crimson rays were falling on them,laminating them with it's warmth. The sunset gold beach with the sand that sinked your feet into it leads them to a beautiful set up.

There were two white chairs and a table in front of them that had a white cloth dropped over it. The table was full with brunch items and a champagne bottle with two tall glasses. The same set up was repeated two times with some distance between them because there were going to be three dates held at the same time.

Ofcourse,the whole camera crew was already there with their own materials. He saw Yoongi-sshi doing some work in his notebook. Probably writing how to put them in more tricky situations. Such a little man with such evil plans.  

“Hey,this is going to be speed dating because we technically are shooting 6 different dates and have to fit that into the 1 hour episode among other things so make it short” Yoongi gave them instructions, they all nodded and walked off to the tables.

Being the gentleman he is,he pulled the chair back for Joohyun and helped her sit. "You are such a gentleman, Taehyung. Thank you"

"Ofcourse,my mother raised me to be a wise man" He responded to her,going to his chair and sitting down.

Grabbing the champagne bottle and opening it with the opener that was sitting on the table. The bottle opened with a pop as the champagne fizz came out. He cheered,making Irene laugh as she grabbed the glass.

Pouring some for him and then he poured it for her. He heard some other pop's from the tables behind them. They were all getting it on. Grabbing the glass,he clicked it with Joohyun.

"To our date" He said and Irene repeated what he said. Both taking a few sips before putting their glasses down

"So,Joohyun, tell me about yourself, your type and what you are looking for,all that" He started the conversation with the most common question.

"OK, for starters, I am 26 years old-"

"You are older than me! I am 24. sorry for interrupting" He apologised when he realised. She laughed at him.

"It's alright,I guess I am,that isn't a problem right?" She asked him before she could spill her life details.

"No ofcourse not. I have dated people older than me before. I am just surprised because you didn't look like you were older than me. You are seriously really beautiful" He meant that wholeheartedly.

"Thank you,Taehyung. You are seriously really handsome as well" She imitated him. " I mean it,when I saw you I felt some kind of attraction to you so that's why I chose you for my first date"

"I can say the same about you" Taehyung answered and he could see she was already being swayed.

"You are charming. Back to Talking about me,I was born and raised in daegu but I live on my own now in Seoul since I'm a fashion designer and the scope of that occupation is better in a bigger city you know"

"Yeah,I get it. I am from Daegu too,this is amazing we have so much in common because I moved for the same reason since i am an advertising manager . I think we will get along super well, Joohyun-sshi…or should I call you Noona?" He suggested.

"No, that makes me feel old. Joohyun is fine. It's good to hear we live in the same city at least because I don't work well with long distances. Now to my type,I don't think I have any to be honest,physically at least. If you are a genuine and nice person who treats me well I am all yours" She said to him and Taehyung smiled to himself. That's easy.

"I guess I am just your type then,Joohyun. Same goes for me,I don't have a type just want a girl who I can have fun with and if I am not reading this wrong I think we have a connection and I want to get to know you more" He grabbed her hands and squeezed it as some sort of assurance.

She greeted him back with a nod. She was into him. This is so great. Just when he was about to start another conversation the buzzer came to ruin his moment.

"Joohyun,please choose the next person for your date now" The robot said. She hesitated for a second as she looked at Taehyung.

"They really are making you do this in front of me" Taehyung said as she giggled. Mouthing a 'I know'.

"Um, I would like to go on a date with Jeon Jeongguk next" She said into the buzzer. A sound came from the buzzer that felt like her response got submitted.

"Jeon Jeongguk will be there with you in a few minutes. Taehyung,please head to your next date with Luna" The robotic voice almost shocked him when it called out his name.

"I wasn't expecting that. Looks like we both have a second date. See you back in the villa,Joohyun" He kissed her on the cheeks,bidding goodbyes.

"You too,See you later~" She said,hiding the obvious blush on her cheeks.

He wanted to punch the air in excitement because their short date went so well. Joohyun is a really nice girl and she is really similar to him in so many ways. She isn't pushy and seems to be interested in him genuinely. Taehyung knows he isn't here to find love, that's ridiculous but if something between him and Joohyun forms…he won't be opposed to it. She's just his type,a girl he would actually date outside this place.

He sauntered towards the next tabel. Jimin was still sitting and laughing with her, they clicked so well because ever since Luna showed up,Jimin hasn't stopped smiling. He wants to win the game but if Jimin wants to pursue her,he will definitely stand aside.

“Come on,Chim. I don't want to ruin your date but times up” He patted his back. Jimin sighed and got up. “Well then see you back in the villa,Luna. Have fun but not too much” He waved at the girl and gave Taehyung a big smile before walking away.

Sitting down in the seat Jimin was in,He realised he didn't eat anything on his little date and from the dishes in front of him,it looked like Jimin and Luna didn't either.

He saw the waffles drenched in the chocolate sauce with bananas on top. He locked his lips. "How about we both dig into this and you can tell me about you?" He suggested it to Luna and she immediately agreed. He's not the only one hungry.

They both stabbed their forks into the waffles. Eating it a little and the flavours just bursting into his mouth. He felt like remy from ratatouille when he ate the cheese with strawberry.

"So I am 24 years old and as you noticed I'm not fully Korean. My father was Japanese and I have lived almost my whole life in Osaka,Japan but then I moved to Seoul because I have been very into k-culture and I actually wanted to be an idol" She said as she took another bite of the waffles.

"Oh? an Idol? Did you audition for any companies?" Taehyung asked and she nodded.

"Yes but most of them rejected me and the one that accepted me weren't well known so it was a risk because I don't even know if going to this company will promise me a stable career so I just didn't and started to take modeling gigs and gained a huge following in instagram so I decided to make that my career and its working really good for me"  She shrugged,she was proud of herself and he was happy for her.

"That's amazing,I am an advertising and promotion manager. It pays well and that's all that matters. How many followers do you have?"

"About 4 million now,I think" She said and Taehyung almost gasped. "Holy shit,that's a big ass number,I am having a date with a celebrity?"

"I am not at that level yet, don't worry" She chuckled and Taehyung laughed with her. She had a nice smile.

"So why did you choose me?"

"You are very close to my type, Handsome,tall and have a great sense of humor" Luna explained to Taehyung.

"What about Jimin? me and him are pretty different yet we both had a date with you and judging from whatever I have seen you two have been getting along too well" Taehyung asked her and she just smiled,looking down at her lap.

She started to explain why she chose Jimin and how much fun they had in the little amount of time they had together on this date and She sounded so interested in him,Taehyung felt like a third wheel for just sitting here and listening to her but he is still happy for them.

He also kind of zoned out while listening to ramble because his eyes fell on Jeongguk who walked past them to go to the table next to them where Joohyun was sitting.

He saw them hug each other and sit down in the seat he was sitting at. He didn't even realise he was staring too much until Jeongguk glanced at their table and their eyes once again met.

He just can't explain what it is but whenever their eyes meet it seems like everything stills for a whole seconds, minutes stop racing and the whole world suddenly is revolving around them. This tension they have between them every time they are alone or even just looking at each other seems to be getting too much.

It's distracting,so distracting. He can't seem to focus on his strategy for what he is here for. Whenever Jeongguk is around he seems to lose focus.

Immediately snapping his focus back to Luna and giving a mhm as a response to indicate he's still listening. He looked on the other side to see who Jiyeon is on a date with after Sangwoo. He saw Jaewon already sitting there and getting it on with her.

So all of the boys got picked by the three new girls. He knows the girls back home are fuming. He wouldn't mind some drama.

"....and Yeah,He's really fun to be around. I saw you and Joohyun unnie too,you seemed ecstatic together. What's up there?" Luna asked him a question and he was glad that he didn't have to look for Jeongguk.

"I quite like her,I know this is weird to say when I'm on a date with another girl but I think we are both not that interested as we are in the one we are talking about" Taehyung trailed waiting for her response before he talks.

"Yeah,I don't want to close my options so early into this experience but I do want to focus on Jimin and see where that takes so it would be nice if we can be friends" Luna shared with him.

"You read my mind. I too want to focus on Joohyun, we have so much in common and she's also one of the most beautiful women I have ever seen" Taehyung complimented Joohyun and he meant it. It's funny he was complimenting another woman on his date. But it's love Roulette baby everything happens here.

"I agree,when I walked in with her I felt threatened not gonna lie but I'm glad we are not interested in the same guy at the moment" She told him and Taehyung chuckled. That would have been a delight to see.

The buzzer finally rang at the right time for the first time because he didn't know what to say to her.

"Dear Contestants, Please get ready to leave and go back to the Villa,as the dates has come to an end"

He stood up from the seat and helped Luna get up too. Linking their arms together as they made their way back to the cars.

When they walked back into the Villa,the sun was setting. Despite how short the dates,they spent a lot of time outside. Going through the hallways to the pool side where usually everyone is. They saw all the girls and Jimin and Sangwoo run towards them,Cheering them on.

He could see Bora glare specifically on His and Luna's arms that were linked together. Though almost immediately they were separated as the group divided into two. The girls took the new girls towards the fire pit and the boys went towards the couches on the side of this place.

All taking a seat and getting comfortable in this place. Facing each other and somehow Jeongguk ended up sitting right next to Taehyung. He could feel their legs bumping into each other.

"So How were the dates? Taehyung you start since you scored two dates,that's most out of all of us" Jaewon started the conversation.

"They were great actually. I went on a date with Joohyun and Luna. Both gorgeous girls and so nice. Though I have to say Joohyun…phew wow" Taehyung leaned back into the couch with arms spread out and a huge grin on his face.

The other boys ooh-ed him and laughed. Jimin hit his shoulder multiple times playfully. Glancing at Jeongguk who showed no type of reaction.

"She is so hot,I don't even blame you. Not going to lie, I was upset when she didn't choose me" Jaewon said, shrugging it off.

"Yeah,I think I am going to go for her. She's my type. Luna was great too but I think our Jiminie here likes her more than me" He hugged his best friend from the side. Jimin wiggled out of his embrace.

"What can I say? She's so funny and she actually listens to me unlike certain someone. She was so interested in what I have to say and she's exactly what I am looking for here. Not closing my options but I will definitely be getting to know her more" Jimin told the boys and they nodded along with him.

"I am happy for you,man. You deserve this after the whole fiasco with Nabi" Sangwoo gave him a pat on his back.

"Thanks man. You two tell us about Jiyeon,how was she? any interest in her?" Jimin asked Sangwoo and Jaewon what they thought about the third girl.

"She's really easy going,like our chat went so smoothly,she's a cheeky one but I don't know I still like Yeri more and I wasn't feeling her enough so yeah. I just like Yeri a lot so it would take a lot to make my head turn" Jaewon answered and for the first time,Taehyung didn't see him as this douchebag.

He always felt a bit iffy about him and yeri as Yeri is so much more genuine than him but what he just said right now might change his mind on him even after everything.

"My experience was a little different but kind of the same. I had so much chemistry with her than anyone else if I'm being honest but I also really like Jia…so I think I would have to talk to Jia about this" Sangwoo head has been a bit tilted towards Jiyeon it seems.

"Yeah man, You should definitely tell Jia before someone else does because then it would get messy. It's not like you guys are dating or anything so tell her you want to get to know Jiyeon too" Taehyung advised him as Sangwoo thanked him.

"What about you,Muscle boy? you have been really quiet,did the date with Joohyun not go well?" Jimin leaned forward,asking Jeongguk who was poking his cheek with his tongue.

He sat forward and put his hands on Taehyung's thigh which kinda took Taehyung by surprise but he didn't say anything.

"Yeah,it was nice. She's nice but I didn't felt any connection between us and we somehow just end up talking about Taehyung, so I think you should approach her more" He answered,easily diverting the attention back to Taehyung as the boys started to tease him again.

But it was weird,he doesn't know but he feels like Jeongguk isn't telling him something. Before he could even ask he saw some of the girls coming towards. Jeongguk got up and approached Bora.

"Hey,can we talk?" Jeongguk asked Bora. Who stopped for a second and glanced at Taehyung and back at Jeongguk.

"Can we do this later? I need to talk to Taehyung" Bora said to him,not caring about what Jeongguk had to say and Taehyung almost gasped at that.

"Seriously? your partner just went on a date with another girl and you want to know what Taehyung is doing?" Jeongguk snapped at her. She remained silent knowing speaking more would just make him mad. So he scoffed at her and walked away in anger.

Everyone saw this happened and didn't say anything as some of the girls took their partners to the other side to ask the famous question. 'How was the date?' and if you say anything wrong you are in danger.

Bora,on the other hand, was sitting next to Taehyung,going to ask him this question instead of the person she is coupled up with.

"Are you really not going to go after him? He looked angry" Taehyung said to her and she just shrugged.

"I will talk to him later when he's ready to not lash at me. I was with the girls and they seemed to talk really highly of you. How was your date? Do you like them? specifically Joohyun Unnie?" She bombarded him with questions.

"Bora,you have no right to ask me these questions. We are not coupled up anymore. I don't owe you anything. You should be asking these questions to Jeongguk not me" He told her to see where her priorities are because they definitely weren't with Jeongguk.

"I don't like Jeongguk!"

"and I don't like you" He said it in the heat of the moment because it might just have come off as mean. her facial expressions changed drastically as her whole face fell.

"I am sorry but We got separated two days after knowing each other so you can't blame me for losing feelings and for your satisfaction. Yes I am into one of the new girls and I will be getting to know them because technically I am single and not coupled up with anyone. So focus on your couple and leave me alone,Bora" He closed their chapter.

Getting up from the place and walking away from Bora because they both don't have anything to say to each other at this point. 

His heels somehow took him inside the Villa,trying to look for Jeongguk because Jeongguk has been looking upset and angry the whole day and it seems like no one is there for him. Despite everything happening between them,he wants to push that behind them and start it over.

Looking through the bedrooms and even the TV lounge but he was nowhere to be found in this place. He walked to this one hallway where there is nothing but one door that is locked.

He doesn't even know how he ends up here. He walked to the end of the hallway and sighed,what is he even doing at this point? When he was going to walk back,he suddenly felt someone grasp his wrist and pull him inside the room.

He almost screamed but a hand slapped over his mouth so he wouldn't. He immediately wiggled out of the hold of the stranger when he looked back and saw Jeongguk. He took a sigh of relief because he really thought he was going to die.

The room that was always locked and would never open…he was now standing inside it. Though there is nothing important in this room. It's super small,looks like a strange room but without storage as the cupboards around them were empty and there was this one single window that was opened.

Most shocking part of being here is…why Jeongguk? How did he get inside? What is he even doing in this small room? so many questions that needed an answer.

"Jeongguk,oh my god you scared the shit out of me! What are you doing here? I thought this room was locked?" Taehyung said to him as he walked to the window and there was no impressive view,it just showed the side alleyway of the Villa that no one came to.

"Sorry,I saw you linger around and decided to pull you in. This room was locked until I found a key. I think one of the staff members just accidentally threw it right outside this room door and I stumbled upon it. they are pretty fucking stupid for that" Jeongguk voice was much raspier as he was leaning against of the cupboards.

Taehyung's eyes widened when Jeongguk cursed out one of the staff members. "Jeongguk! you can't say that infront if the cameras!" Taehyung said to him which made Jeongguk just chuckle at him.

"Darling,there are no cameras here. Why did you think they locked this place? it's storage anyway. I checked so you can do whatever you want here" all that news and the nickname was what took Taehyung off guard.

For a second, Taehyung felt like he could breathe. Sometimes he does forget that cameras are always on him in this Villa but now that he knows this place is safe he doesn't feel suffocated anymore. He can do anything here with his freewill. The thought made him really happy.

His shoulders relaxed,leaning against the other cupboard too. He and Jeongguk weren't even a foot apart,this place was cramped, like a little storage room it is. He saw Jeongguk taking out a packet of cigarettes out of his pocket. Taking one of them out.

"You smoke?" He asked Taehyung,who shook his head. Jeongguk mumbled something under his breath that Taehyung couldn't catch.

He saw the younger take out his lighter and light up the cigarette. Put the tip into his mouth as he took a few puffs in. This Jeongguk looked so different from the perfect contestant of Love Island,Jeongguk. It felt like they were two different people.

"Do you smoke often?" Taehyung asked him. Jeongguk glanced at him,taking another hit.

"Nah, Just when I'm stressed to the point I feel like I'm going to lose my mind" Jeongguk told Taehyung who gulped at the response.

"Is this because of Bora? I mean what she did was pretty shitty of her but-" Taehyung was immediately cut off by the younger boy.

"I don't give a fuck about her. I never even liked her anyway. She is not the reason I'm smoking right now,hyung" Jeongguk said in a higher tone. The other boy was taken back.

"...Why did you choose her then? If you wanted a time pass then you should have gone for someone else " and not ruin my strategy. He wished he could say that but he can't,it's too early to fuck up.

"You are telling me you like her? I know you don't like her,you don't have to pretend that here I don't judge. She's fucking annoying and we both know it. I only chose her because I had no other choice, other girls were either too into their partners and or just plain boring. Meanwhile I saw right through you,Taehyung. That girl is far from what you are looking for" It felt like Jeongguk could read his mind.

Shivers run down his spine. He didn't like that at all. at how easily Jeongguk could read him. "You are right. I don't like her but I didn't hate her or whatever. I really thought we could work but it's too late now anyway. She is really annoying right now,she was asking me the questions outside that she should be asking you, which is why I thought you were mad because of her"

"I am not mad at her. You are the reason I'm losing my mind Taehyung. I have been feeling like shit because of the incident yesterday,and since today I found out it was Jaewon and not you. You are not even letting me apologise,instead you are just ignoring me for the whole damn day and I don't know why is it affecting me so much" For a second,it sounds like Jeongguk is confessing his undying love for Taehyung.

"Hey,It's whatever okay. You don't have to apologise,you are a bit dense but it's alright I don't care anymore. I hate being stressed out so chill I am not mad or anything at you" He moved closer to Jeongguk and patted his shoulder.

"Still I'm sorry for jumping into conclusions and putting you in the spotlight"

"It's alright,I forgive you"

"God,I don't know why your apology means so much to me,Hyung. It's so weird, I'm so confused right now. Maybe I really want to be your friend," Jeongguk chuckled and Taehyung laughed with him.

"Yeah,maybe…Come on,let's go out we have been here for too long it would be suspicious if both of us are nowhere to be found" He grabbed Jeongguk's hand and dragged him out of the room as Jeongguk threw his cigarette out of the window.
