When they got back to the Villa,they were taken to the confessionals. Which is a separate room where they sit down and talk about what happened today. They are given a list of questions that they have to answer. It's like a behind the scene type of beat and you can talk shit about anyone here and no one would know except the public watching the show.

Jeongguk went in first and when he came out he looked a bit moody. Taehyung didn't ask or say anything and just made his way inside the room. Taking a seat on the single sofa. He has been here only once before and that was yesterday before they went to bed.

The lady gave him the sheet of what he needs to talk about,his gaze went upon it and he chuckled at last one.

He just sighed and gave the sheet back. Straightening his back and putting on his charming smile,making eye contact with the camera. He saw the red light in the corner of the camera.

"When the Robot lady called out my name through the speakers, I was looking around like some ghost called my name. For a second I even questioned if there was a girl named Taehyung that I didn't know of" He laughed at his own conclusion. Brushing his hair away.

"Either way,it still made me happy as a part of LGBTQ+ community to know that I have a chance to find love not only with girls but with boys too. It made me feel accepted so I really want to thank Love Roulette for making me feel accepted" He made sure to butter them up as much as he can. Seeing the satisfactory smile from the woman confirmed that he was doing great.

"My date with Jeongguk was actually really nice. We got along really well and he is so handsome and funny honestly. He has such a way with his words though I do think there was…um ah…something lacking" He doesn't know why he is hesitating,maybe because he is not a good liar.

As far as he knew he truly enjoyed the date. The food was amazing and so was the location and most important of all,being there with Jeongguk was quite nice. It felt great,the getting to know each other and the compatible game they played that almost made Taehyung hard on live television.

It makes him a bit upset because if they were given a chance,Taehyung thinks he and Jeongguk would have had a better chance at winning this. He is thinking strategically again but he can't help it,he knows Jeongguk would have gone along and according to the director,the public already liked them a lot.

Too bad they are being forced to say they are better as friends as both boys would have been open to the idea of knowing each other more…though both for different reasons. It was good while it lasted,Taehyung now needs to focus on being the gentleman and the nice guy to gain audience trust. He can play the wingman of Jeongguk because he needs to take advantage of how popular their duo is.

He has got this shit in his palms.

"So yeah, I think we are better off as friends. There was just not the spark you feel with someone you have a crush on. I hope Jeongguk takes it well when I tell this to him" He made a sad face. Manipulating the audience into thinking they both aren't in on this.

"And that would be it. Thank you, Taehyung, you can go now. Please find Yeri for me and send him here" The woman told him. Taehyung nodded as he walked out of the confessional room.

He goes back outside where everyone is dressed up for the night and just chatting in separate places. His eyes fell to the fire pit where all the girls were sitting with Nabi just going on about something with a smile on her face. She's probably telling the girls about her date. He was walking towards them when he bumped into Bora.

“Oh,sorry,hey where are you coming from?” He asked bora.

“Inside,in the lounge. Came outside because girls called me,you heading there too?” She asked him back. Taehyung nodded so they both started to go towards the firepit as the girls' voices were a bit more clearer now. Nabi was obviously dominating the conversations.

"And yeah he was like telling me how beautiful I am and he even kissed me on the cheek like…wow" Nabi explained,making other girls giggle and cheer her on.

He kinda wanted to laugh but he is going to keep that in. Taehyung fake coughed when he reached them as Bora joined them,All the girls went silent ofcourse. Pointing at Yeri. "Yeri,They are calling you in confessionals"

She stared at him for a second,smiling and nodded. Putting the drink in her hands aside,getting up to get out of there. "OK you girls can continue,sorry for interrupting" Taehyung apologised with a sweet smile on his face and he saw how quick their expressions changed telling him it's alright.

Not making it more awkward for himself he turned around and walked towards the bean bags near the pool where Jimin and Sangwoo were sitting. He wonders where Jeongguk and Jaewon are.

The boys saw him approaching and their faces lit up in excitement. Started hooting for him meanwhile he crashed into the spare bean bag. "Our boy is back from his date! Come on, tell us how was it?" Sangwoo asked him.

"It was really nice actually. We went to this beautiful park and had an amazing picnic there. The sandwiches they had made for us were to DIE for,seriously"

"And how was Jeongguk? did you..feel anything?" Jimin wasn't going to beat around the Bush with this one.

"He was charming,really nice. We had a great conversation,we do get along very well but.." he trailed.

Sighing to himself because he knows the cameras are still on and probably recording this conversation so he won't be called a liar because of what he just said in the confessionals. He has to lie here too, saying how he has no chemistry with Jeongguk, when they both know that's not true.

"I felt like our chat just felt more like a conversation with friends, like the connection you feel with someone you like wasn't there,the atmosphere was more friendly. This is what I feel,I don't know about Jeongguk" He lied but he had no other choice.

Jimin's smile dropped,he came closer to Taehyung,dragging his bean bag closer to him and putting his arms around Taehyung. 

"Man,I actually bummed you didn't feel that connection with him because I was rooting for you guys" Jimin shared with him.

"Is that it or were you rooting for them so Nabi and Jeongguk wouldn't happen?" Sangwoo added in and it made Taehyung rethink too.

"Wait yeah I even heard Nabi earlier talking about how happy she was on her date so what's up Jimin?" Taehyung questioned him too. Jimin looked at them both with wide eyes.

Of course that's not the reason. I do like Nabi but if Jeongguk will steal her at the recoupling then so be it. I have known the girl for a day. We are still getting to know each other,I won't stop her from getting to know other people too at the same time. I rooted for you and Jeongguk because you guys look good together and the kiss from yesterday…I don't know it was hot if I'm being honest" Jimin shared his explanation.

From everyone hyping up their kiss, Taehyung wants to look at it from a 3rd person view too because they really looked like they were enjoying it so much that everyone is suddenly shipping them.

"I was just teasing you,Jimin. Maybe in another setting we would have worked but I think I am going to stick to Bora. She's nice and I feel happy with her" Taehyung said to gain some brownie points.

"If you are happy, then that's all that matters bro" Sangwoo said to him,giving him a smile.  Taehyung was going to ask him about him and Jia but the buzzer buzzed before he could even speak. Everyone averted their attention to the speaker,coming out of wherever they were.

“Dear Contestants,Jeongguk will be making his choice right now, Please gather around the firepit” The robotic voice came out.

He saw everyone face fell,mostly the boys because It is Jeongguk’s choice, he can literally steal any of their girls,he has full control and they would be single and would be vulnerable in the villa with possibilities of getting eliminated. They got up from the bean bags and walked to the firepit where the girls were already gathered.

Jaewon and Jeongguk came outside from inside the villa. He went to Yeri and sat next to her,everyone sat next to the girl/boy they were coupled up with because that's one of the rules when recoupling happens.

Jeongguk stayed standing in front of everyone,his hands behind his back,staring into the other contestants eyes,making sure his eyes wandered on everyone and not on one person for too long. Unfortunately he failed when his eyes fell on Taehyung. The older boy gave him an assuring smile and a little thumbs up, Jeongguk couldn't keep his face straight and chuckled.

“So this decision was actually a really hard one because everyone here is so beautiful and unique in their own way. So choosing one is hard but it came to me when I talked with them. They are very attractive and we even had a small chat. I think I saw a connection between us. So I want us to get to know each other better. The person I want to couple up with is…” He trailed.

Seeing everyones expression from his position was funny because for example, Jaewon looks like he is going to shit himself, Jimin looks nervous but he has this smile on his face pretending he is alright, Jia isn't even looking at him she’s too busy looking at her man and Taehyung…he looks beautiful.

“Bora” He finally said his decision and as he expected,everyone was shocked. A lot of gasps were heard.

Personally for Taehyung he was gagged,his mouth wide opened, staring at the younger boy in shock. He can't believe out of all the girls here he chose Bora,the girl he is coupled up with. He wants to scoff. Looking to the side to see Bora's expression, she looks somewhat shocked. Her grip tightened on Taehyung's hand.

He took his hand away from her. She looked at Taehyung and just sighed as she got up and walked to the boy. They hugged and stood beside each other. Waiting for another buzzer to come. Taehyung was the only one mad,he glanced over to Nabi and she was fuming,her expressions were a bit funny.

The buzzer finally buzzed again as the voice came.

“Jeongguk and Bora are now a couple, leaving Taehyung single and in a vulnerable position but he would not be dumped tonight. Good things come to those who wait” The robot voice was making him more mad. He rolled his eyes and he knew everyone noticed that.

He really doesn't care either because he lost his partner he's allowed to overreact.

"Taehyung, can we-" Jeongguk was cut off by Taehyung.

“Whatever” he said to him and stood up first out of everyone, storming off the firepit to go inside. One of his favourite places here is the lounge. They have this big sofa-bed which is so soft and a perfect place if you need a nap.

Throwing his body onto the sofa,he's tired. Today was a long day,from date to confessionals and then this reckoning recoupling. His body isn't made out to be so social all day and not be drained by the end.

He feels a bit mean because he doesn't care about bora. He has known her for three days now. It's his strategy he is worried about. The only girl he thought will help him is now taken by the guy who he's pretty good friends with and even went on a date with. He wonders if Jeongguk even thought about Taehyung before taking her; he did show Bora a lot of affection.

Just a few minutes on this bed and he was already hearing footsteps. Groaning into the sofa,he just wants some alone time in this place but that's not possible I guess. The footsteps got louder and louder,feeling a weight on the sofa. A soft palm resting on his back.

“Taetae, are you okay?” Even his voice was sweet, Jimin ofcourse he's an angel he was obviously going to come after him.

He sits up and smiles at Jimin who looks worried for him. "Taetae…I like that,keep calling me that"

"Well then taetae how are you feeling?" Jimin asked him once again. 

"I am obviously not happy about that but like what can I even do about it? I am not jealous or mad because honestly I didn't know about bora long enough to be any of those but it still sucks because i really fancied her."  Taehyung told Jimin,honestly. He wants to form a great friendship with Jimin here because he seems like a genuine guy who won't betray him like a certain someone.

"Yeah I get that, I was more shocked he chose Bora. I am on the moon he didn't choose Nabi but I kinda accepted that he would" Jimin said to him. Taehyung immediately nodded, putting his hand on Jimin's shoulder.

"Exactly!! like when did they even talk ? He was flirting with Nabi and even went on a date with her and then suddenly chose Bora out of nowhere,it doesn't make any sense" He threw his hands in the air,totally frustrated because he really doesn't understand Jeongguk.

"It would make sense if you just talk to me" Another voice that was not Jimin said. Taehyung closed his eyes and cursed under his breath. After Jimin,this is the second person whose voice he will always know.

Turning around slowly,I saw Jeongguk himself,leaning against the lounge door frame. His arms crossed over his chest and a stupid smirk on his face.

Jimin noticed the awkward tension and moved away from Taehyung and got up. "I would leave you both to it. See you later,Taetae" He patted his shoulder and walked past Jeongguk to get out of the room.

The younger boy strutted towards Taehyung and sat down next to him. To just be petty,he moved a bit away to show his remorse.

"Why are you here? I have nothing to say to you" Taehyung didn't make eye contact, fiddling with his fingers.

"I am here to talk to you. I owe you that after choosing Bora because I know you liked her and I feel bad but I had to follow my heart" Jeongguk moved closer to him.

"I get that but why Bora? out of all girls here,why her? When did you guys even talk to form some kind of connection?" He bombarded him with questions.

"We talked like today in this place today and even yesterday, she was so sweet and was showing so much interest in me and that really attracted me. I was hesitant at first because I do also think we have some kind of friendly!!!!! connection and didn't want to betray you,you know but in the end I wanted to couple with someone I can see myself going somewhere with and I'm sorry it had to be her" Jeongguk explained his side of the story.

He doesn't know what to feel about that because what Jeongguk is saying does sound true. A bit too much for someone he just met 2 days ago. He feels like he's being gaslighted if he's being honest because why does he feel bad for Jeongguk because u like him it sounds like Jeongguk is genuinely interested in her.

"It's alright Jeongguk,Seriously. I didn't know her long enough to be mad at you for stealing her. It's still too early and our connection doesn't have that much depth yet but it sounds like you like her a lot so um…I hope you guys get somewhere"

"About that…I don't know if she likes me though"

"What? But didn't you guys talk and shit"

"We talked about random stuff, not if she likes me. I want something with her but I don't know where is her head at because for all I know she probably still wants to be with you,you should talk with her and um who knows I might be the third wheel here" Jeongguk said to him and Taehyung wants to scream.

The thing is he has accepted the fact Bora is out of the picture. He wishes Bora doesn't like him because his mind has already started working on his next moves and they don't involve her anymore. As mean as it sounds…she's no use for him. Yes,he decides that in just seconds.

"Oh…is that so? I guess I will have to talk to her. Thanks for telling and don't worry I'm alright. Me and my Bora will be fine too"

"What about us?" Jeongguk asked him and Taehyung felt his mind shut for a second

"What?"

"Are we okay I mean? no bad blood between us because I really do value our friendship" Jeongguk emphasised on Friendship.

"Ofcourse it's all chill. Let's go now,I am sleepy. Can't wait to sleep on the bed alone" Taehyung spoke sarcastically,getting off the bed.

Jeongguk nodded and got up too. They both made their way back to the bedrooms and saw some of the couples already in the bed. He looked over at his bed and didn't see Bora and it wasn't that weird. He only shared a bed with her for one night.

He quickly changed into his pyjamas and hopped into bed. Pulling the blanket over him not wanting to see all the couples being cheesy. He definitely saw Jia and Sangwoo kissing in the bed next to him and he just turned his back to them.

May tomorrow bring a better day.
