Fifteen

Taking my phone out, I side glanced at Noah and saw him watching the movie with interest. I darted my eyes to Jax who was busy talking to guess who.

The Bit*h!

"Hey, Jax," I whispered making him turn towards me.

"Yeah?"

"Bring something to drink for Ivy." Frowning, he opened his mouth and I held my finger. "She's been sitting here with nothing to eat. There was no line outside when I went to the restroom, so get her something."

He twisted his head towards Ivy and I yanked his collar back. "What are you doing?!" I whisper-shouted.

"Asking if she wants to drink something." He replied, blinking at me and I held the urge to strangle his neck.

"You don't ask her," I grumbled. "You bring it to her."

"I just go out and buy?" He questioned and I took deep a deep breath, calming myself.

"Yes, Jax. But there's a catch." I explained to him slowly like he was a kindergartener. "You're going to bring it for Ivy but pretend that it's for me. She'll ask you to give it to her and you'll do it making her feel special. Then you'll go again to get me another one."

"Why do I have to make two rounds? I can bring two at one time-" I placed my finger on his lips.

"You ask too many questions, Jax." I sighed in frustration. "If you want her. Do it my way or forget about her."

He pondered on it, then nodded. "Fine."

Smiling, I let go of his collar and patted his back. "Now shoo."

His lips pressed in a thin line as he got up and walked away. I quickly texted Emily to wake Kevin up and get ready for our next phase.

"You could have asked me." I turned towards Noah and frowned. Did he hear us? "I'm sitting at the end. It was easy for me to get you a drink."

Thank goodness he didn't listen to the entire conversation.

"It's ok, Noah." I gave him an appreciative smile. "Jax got it."

I looked towards Emily to see her getting in position to record while Kevin sneaked to the seats behind us.

"You're like an open book, Lexi," Ivy said, tilting her head toward me.

"Am I?" I darted my eyes from her to Kevin who was carefully placing the spider on the other side of Ivy.

"Yeah. You're so jealous of me. It's so obvious." She smirked.

"Oh please, Ivy." I scoffed. "You have nothing extra to make me jealous."

She narrowed her eyes at me and was about to say something but stopped when Jax returned.

"I bought you a Mango smoothie." He extended the cup in front of me and my nose scrunched.

Erg! I hate mangos. I hated them since I was a kid.

How can Jax forget that?!

It was a good thing it wasn't for me.

"Can you give that to me, Jax?" Ivy pouted from my side. "I'm so thirsty."

"No, it's mine-" Jax cut me off and passed it to Ivy.

"Here." Ivy gave him a toothy grin as she took the cup and wiggled her brows at me.

Huffing, I crossed my arms and fake glared at Jax.

"I'll bring you another." He smiled at me and then left again.

"I'll be back," Noah muttered and followed Jax outside.

"See, Lexi." Ivy snickered. "I'll always be his priority."

I bit my lower lip to stop the grin that was threatening to come out and glimpsed at Emily, who was ready to record. Ivy smirked and leaned back in her seat then Kevin spoke from behind in a fake girly voice.

"What's that on your seat, Miss?"

"Huh?" She turned her head to the side and let out a shrilling scream. "SPIDER!"

She jolted up from her seat, splashing the smoothie all over her face and shirt. Everyone burst out laughing at her, including me. She stumbled on her feet and fell on her butt. Vanessa also jumped from her seat falling on Darren's lap, who let out a loud groan making me laugh more.

This was way better than I imagined!

Kevin in the backseat laughed his a** off rolling on the ground. I watched Ivy who stood from the ground, cleaning her face.

She looked at her clothes in disbelief, then turned her glare towards me.

"Are you okay, Ivy?" I batted my eyelashes at her.

Now that was entertaining!

"AH!" She screamed and dashed outside.

Laughing at her, I turned towards Emily and she gave me a thumbs up.

"This was worth coming here," Kevin whispered to my ear then walked back to his seat.

Grinning, I settled in my seat and saw Noah coming back.

Aw, he missed the epic moment.

"Here." He extended a cup of smoothie and glanced at him. "It's strawberry."

"Thank you." I beamed and took it from him.

I thought Jax was going to bring me the same smoothie, but I was happy that he remembered my favorite one.

"Where's Jax?" I asked Noah, taking a sip of the drink.

"He's with Ivy." He then turned towards me and frowned. "What happened to her, anyway?"

"She saw a spider." I shrugged. Noah kept staring at me but said nothing.

Ivy and Jax didn't come back in, and I was happy that they didn't. I peacefully watched the rest of the movie with Noah.

After the movie ended, we went outside and saw Jax and Ivy sitting on the benches. Ivy's shirt was still wet from the incident and I pressed my lips together to stop the grin.

"You okay, Ivy?" Vanessa asked, going towards her and I rolled my eyes.

If she was that worried, why was she watching the movie instead of going after her?

I muted them as they talked about Ivy and the spider and turned toward Emily.

"The video came out perfect," Emily gave me a lopsided grin.

"It did?" I smirked.

"Yeah. Since we were close to the screen. The lighting was good, and I recorded her reaction crystal clear." Emily giggled.

"I want that video too, Em." Kevin snickered. "It was epic!"

Shaking my head at his enthusiasm,  I clapped my hands and looked at my former friends. "Chop, chop people! It's time to go home."

Ignoring, Ivy's glares, I began ambling outside and Jax came beside me.

"You didn't do that on purpose, did you?"

"Excuse me?" I halted in my steps and arched my brow at him.

"Ivy said that-" I burst out laughing, cutting him off.

"Oh, Jax! Do you think I give a damn about what Ivy says?" He frowned and I put my hand over his shoulder. "She saw a spider and you know how scared she's of them."

"Yeah..." He mumbled as we continued walking towards the parking lot.

"BTW, thanks for the smoothie." I smiled.

"Noah bought it." He shrugged making me pause. "What?"

I opened and closed my mouth in confusion. "I thought you bought it."

"I was in the line to buy another one but Noah came saying he'll get it, and then I saw Ivy running outside so I went after her."

"What flavor were you getting me?" I asked to make sure he remembered my favorite one or not.

"Mango. Why?" I darted my eyes behind him and gazed at Noah.

Noah remembered my favorites.

First, he bought me Cheesy Nachos and then a strawberry smoothie.

"Lexi." Jax waved his hands in front of me. "What are you thinking?"

"How did you guys come here?" I asked and his brows knitted in confusion.

"Darren and Vanessa came together, and I drove Noah and Ivy." He replied.

"That's perfect." I gave him a toothy grin.

"Why?" He tilted his head.

"You are going to ask Kevin to drive Noah back," I suggested.

"Why?"

Because I want to thank Noah!

"We are doing this to make Ivy like you, right?" He nodded his head as I explained to him. "This way you can spend alone time with Ivy making her fall for you..." I trailed off comprehending what I was saying.

WTH

I planned to make him fall for me and now I was doing the opposite.

How did this happen?

"Ok." Jax nodded, getting me out of my thoughts. "Hey, Kevin!"

"What?" Kevin scowled at Jax.

"Can you drop Noah?" At that, Noah frowned at Jax.

"No-"

"Of course, he will!" I clasped my hands with a grin and Kevin glared at me.

"I have to go all the way round-Oph!" Emily elbowed him in the stomach making him wince in pain.

"Oops sorry." Emily blinked her innocent eyes at Kevin who growled at her. "My hand slipped."

"Fine." Kevin darted his eyes between us and rubbed his side.

"You don't have to. I can go myself-" I grabbed Noah's arm and cut him off.

"It's fine, Noah. We'll drop you first." I beamed and dragged him towards Kevin's car with him and Emily following.

Noah opened the back door and I quickly glanced at Emily. She gave me a nod and yelled. "Shotgun!"

"Fine." I fake a huff and opened the back door.

Avoiding Kevin's confused gaze, I set in the car and beamed at Noah who was getting comfortable in the back.
