Six years later.

"I want a divorce!"

"That will not happen!"

"You cheated on me, you bastard!"

"I did not!"

"Don't you dare f**king lie on my face! I got prove!"

"Oh, the bra? How many times I told you, I don't know about it!"

I sighed and massaged my forehead as I watched the couple fight. I slammed my hands on the table in front, getting their attention and also of the other gentlemen sitting.

"Why don't we sit down and talk like actual adults, that we are." I glared at them but kept a smile on my face.

They sat down as we continued to discuss the case. I was sitting in the meeting room with other lawyers, oh I forgot to mention it before, I, Lexi Wolf, was now a lawyer and I worked in my father's agency. I never thought of taking this as a profession, but it naturally came to me.

After getting rid of the frustrating couple, I read some files required for the case and then went home. Tonight was Darren's bar opening, and the guy was serious about taking bartending as his career.

"I'm home!" I announced as I entered my two-story small but cozy house. I used to always yelled this whenever I came back from high school, but never got a response since I used to live alone, but not anymore.

"Woof!" I glanced and saw my golden retriever running towards me happily with his tongue out.

"My baby!" I screamed and crouch down to pat him as he licked my face, making me giggle. "Oh, mommy missed you too chase!" I scratched his ears, and he grunted happily.

I looked around, but no one else came. "Where's daddy?" I asked chase. He got out of my hold and ran to the living room. I followed him and saw the man I love, sitting on the sofa with his headphones on as he furiously wrote in his journal.

I chuckled and leaned to the doorframe as I watched him with a smile on my face. If I thought Noah was hot before, then he's triple times hot now. My eyes roamed over his figure as I took him in.

His long blond hair was wet, showing he just took a shower and fanned his face. I asked Noah not to cut them because I loved running my fingers through his soft hair. My eyes went to his deep green eyes and flickered through his sharp jaw to his lips. He had a cute frown on his handsome face as he wrote.

Noah became a songwriter and worked in a famous record company. Sometimes he sang too, but he thought he was more comfortable as a writer.

I got out of my thoughts as chase launched himself at Noah. "Hey, buddy what's up." He continued to lick his face, Noah laughed and I chuckled as I watched him struggle. Noah looked at and grinned. "Hey, when did you come?"

"Just now." I shrugged and went to sit on his lap. "You look busy." I wrapped my hands around his neck and kissed him.

"I was finishing the editing." He mumbled.

"Are you done?" I asked, running my fingers through his hair. He hummed as he closed his eyes and leaned into my touch. I smiled at him.

"Before I fall asleep, we need to get ready." He grabbed my hand and kissed the ring on my finger. I nodded and got up not before placing a kiss.

Did I forget to mention that he proposed to me?

A month ago Noah and I went to Music Mix, and he sang a song for me there, asking me to marry him. I was busy swooning over him that when he stopped, everyone looked at me for an answer and I was in a daze. Then Noah came down and went on his knee with a gorgeous ruby ring, and I jumped on him in excitement and screamed yes.

I always wanted a summer wedding, and my parents also got married on a beach. So we were going to wait till this summer to tie our knots.

Noah and I had been living together since after we graduated from high school. We went to the same college because I didn't want to spend time without him. First, we lived in a small apartment and after completing our degrees; we got amazing jobs and then we brought this beautiful sweet home. We also kept our promise and cuddled every night... well, we did more than cuddling.

I stood in front of the mirror and finished applying my make-up when Noah came from behind and plopped his chin on my shoulder.

"You look ravishing, as always." He grinned, looking at me intensely through the mirror.

"Thanks." I bit my lip and glanced at my red silk spaghetti strap dress that went a few inches down from my hips and hugged my body perfectly.

I always took compliments without being awkward, but whenever Noah did, it always made me giddy and shy.

Noah chuckled and turned me around, I glanced at his white button shirt he wore with black pants and sleeves rolled up till his elbows showing his muscular arms.

"And you look hot as always." I put my hands on his biceps as he bored in dark green eyes in mine. My eyes flattered close when he leaned down and pressed his lips. I moaned and gripped him tightly when he deepened the kiss.

"We should get going before I change my mind." His voice was hoarse as he slowly pulled away.

I peeked at him through my eyelashes and hooked my fingers in his belt, pulling him closer.

"We can stay home," I whispered, creasing my lips against his. "I'm sure they wouldn't miss us."

"That's tempting." Noah chuckled and kissed me again. "But they are waiting for us."

"You're such a tease, Noah." I pouted.

He ran his thumb over my lower lip, giving my body a quiver. "I'll make it up when we'll be back." He whispered in a husky voice, making my entire body warm.

"I know you will." I bit my grin, and we walked out of our room.

Slow jazz music played in the background as we entered the bar. The bar was small, but it looked classy with the green and grey interior. Noah and I saw our friends at the bar and walked towards them with linked arms when Emily and Darren noticed us.

I grinned and run towards Emily, hugging her. "Damn girl, I missed you!"

Emily giggled as we let go. "I missed you too!" She smiled grabbed my hands.

We watched as Darren and Noah greeted each other. "This is a wonderful place, Darren. You did a good job."

"T-thanks." Darren flushed as he rubbed his neck in embarrassment. We laughed, and we made our drinks.

"Why don't you girls catch up," Noah said, pecking my lips. "We'll be back."

I nodded and watched as Darren and Noah left us. "How's everything working out for you two?" Emily asked with a teasing smile.

"Perfect." I sighed dreamily. "How's your med school?"

"It's tiring." She groaned and told me about her struggle.

Emily got admission to Columbia University to study medicine. Emily and Darren were doing a long-distance relationship, and I was happy that it was working out for them.

As for Kevin, he went to New York to handle his family business. We were still in touch, but he didn't hang out as frequently as we used to in high school. He still hasn't found his Gwen, but I'm sure it won't take him much longer and for that, he had to stop with his player attitude. A lot has changed in the past years, Jax went to England to study further and Ivy went to her mother in New York too.

"How's it working out for you two?" I asked Emily as I sipped my drink.

"It's difficult." She sighed, then grinned as she wiggled her fingers. "But nothing we couldn't work."

I glanced at the emerald ring in her left hand, and my eyes widened. "He proposed!" I squealed.

"Yeah." Emily giggled. "When I came back to Pinewood yesterday, the first thing I saw coming out of the airport was Darren with a sign of 'Will you marry me' in his hands." She blushed, telling me her story.

"You guys are so cute!" I gushed and laughed as Emily turned red.

"Good evening everyone." A familiar voice came from the speaker. "I'm sure you all must be enjoying the night." We turned around and saw Noah on the stage with his guitar. "First, I want to congrats my friend for his successful opening."

Everyone cheered and hooted for Darren, who stood in the corner bowing. "And for this special night, I want to sing a song, which I especially wrote for my beautiful future wife." He glanced at me and everyone turned their heads.

I felt heat crawling my neck as curious and teasing eyes watched me. I gazed at Noah, who met his charming smile and played his guitar.

I was so happy to finally have him in my life. Our journey wasn't easy with full of twists and drama, but we managed it and now here we are. I guess I should thank Jax for this. If it wasn't for his plan, maybe Noah and I would have never talked and I wouldn't have such an amazingly sweet guy singing for me on the stage.

I was so confused at first and had no idea about how to start and end it but I'm so satisfied with the result.
