"What are you looking at, sweetheart?" I ask Bani coming out of washroom as I see her staring at something inside the drawer.

Bani jerks up hearing my voice and replies hesitantly, "Umm....nothing!!"

"Nothing?" I frown at her and she just shrugs hiding her hands behind.

Looks like I've to find by myself

I walk up to her and bring her hands in front me. They are holding my medicine. I look at Bani and she looks back wide eyed, gulping hard. Is she afraid or something??

Of course she is!!

I remember our last encounter with this pills. I take the capsule jar from her hand and keep it back in the drawer. Then cup her face, "Hey...., I'm not gonna say anything. Don't be afraid, sweetheart." I say softly while caressing her cheek with my thumb.

Bani relaxes a bit and mumbles leaning against my touch, "I'm not afraid."

I press her head to my chest and say in her hair, "Don't be. I'll not repeat my behaviour like that day, I promise."

Bani hugs me back and whispers, "You've again started taking them....only because me!!"

I sigh holding her to my arms length and look into her eyes, "Things had been quite rough for both of us. Both of us tried to handle it in our own way but did not think about the other one. It's none of our fault, Bani. This is life. We just have to grow up with each phase."

Bani keeps staring at me remorsefully. "You cannot move on untill you let it go, sweetheart." I say kissing her forehead.

Bani hugs me tightly but says nothing. I kiss her head and say jokingly, "Shall we go?? I don't wanna be late in my own date you know..!"

Bani giggles and pulls off, "Yeah...Let's go."

"Now, put your left foot on the other slab." Bani instructs me.

I roll my eyes. This girl is literally giving me a 'How to climb balcony' tutorial.

"Bani....! Will you just concentrate on your own work?? I know where to put my leg next.🙄"

"Shut up, Chuha!!! Just do as I told😐." Ms Atom Bomb immediately spits out.

"God girl!!! I may not have years of practice like you do in this field, but I still can manage you know... I'm afraid that you'll cause an accident yourself while checking on me like this." I say worriedly.

She still thinks that I cannot walk straight!!!

"Will you just shup up and do as I say, Veer?? Stop looking at me AND KEEP YOUR HANDS STEADY!!!" Bani barks in.

"That's 'Shut up' not 'Shup up', sweetheart." I squeak and Bani again barks out, "SHUT UPP!!!!"

"Guys!!! Stop waking the neighbours up!!!! It's Midnight!!!" Bella whisper yells.

"Talk to this drunk one!!!" Bani whisper barks too glaring at me.

"I am not drunk....I can still count the...." Mahir sulks from down but gets cut by Bella, "She's not talking about you, idiot!!! And who the hell counts stuffs to prove that they are not drunk????😖" Bella growls.

But without saying anything farther I get down according to my wife's instructions. I don't know about the neighbours, but my family is surely gonna wake up by this ruckus.

After we get down, Bella scowls at us, "Guys, what the hell were you doing, huh? What took you so long???"

"Wohi...jo tumne mujhe karne nhi diya, Juliet!!kissi-missi😚" that Mahir bustard quacks up.

Bani gives a light kick on his butt, "Shut up, jiju....kuch bhi..!!!😌 I needed to take my phone and some other stuffs, that's why." she says blushing.

"Veer.." Bella looks at me hesitantly.

"Yes Bella?" I wonder what else she has left to spit on me🙄.

"Umm....I'm sorry...I said a lot of stuffs to you last night." She starts, "But...I didn't know anything na....and...and also you are quite rude with my sister, so....umm..."

I roll my eyes and snap, "Are you apologising, Bella...or are you preparing for another threat??? Which one???"

Looks like Bani has told her everything. I look at Bani and she shrugs. Well, I definitely don't need Bella's or anyone's sympathy over my past. But I cannot ask Bani to not share anything with her sister at the same time. That wouldn't be fair of my part. And as far as I know Bani...she wouldn't say anything unless she didn't have any other option left.

Bella says meekly, "No...umm...I'm just apologising for my last night's behaviour." but then she adds fiercely, "And you also watch your act, okay?? Don't ever misbehave with sister, I'm telling you!!!😐"

I sigh folding my hands, "I fully intend to comply that. Thank you.🙏"

"Uff!!! Shall we move now??" says Bani glaring at Bella and me.

"yeah, Let's go. So who's gonna take the car and who the scooty??" Bella asks.

"You brought scooty??" I ask excitedly.

"Yes..." Bani trails, "how else do you think we came here?? Flying??🙄"

I grin, "Then, let's take the scooty, sweetheart.😁"

"Okay...Mahir take out your car...let's go." Bella ushers Mahir.

Standing beside the scooty I hold my hand up and Bani frowns, "What??"

"Key..! How else do you think I'm gonna drive it??😏" I reply.

Bani smirks back, "Oh no, husband. You're not driving, I am.😎"

"Why..?" I whine a little.

Bani makes a face at me and spats, "I have my reason. Now wear the helmet😐!!"

Just at that moment a massage from Heaven comes to me,

Never ever argue with your wife!!!🙃

I wholeheartedly comply that and without saying anything tuck on the helmet. Suddenly I realize something.

"Shit!!!🤦‍♂️"

"What happened??" Bani looks at me frowning.

I take off my hoodie.

"This happened...I should've brought another one for you. The wind is too cold..." I say while ducking her hand into the hoodie sleeve, "...I don't want you to catch cold."

"What about you??" Bani asks me while I put her another arm into the sleeve.

"Come on, sweetheart!! I'm too hot for this cold winter😉" I wink at her straightening the hem of jacket.

"God!! You're such a self-obsessed moron!!" Bani makes an annoyed face at me.

I scoff with a serious expression, "Just stating the fact, babe!!"

"Ahmm...! Done! Now you're all set." I say with a satisfied smile, finally tucking the hoodie on her head.

Bani pokes her tongue but stares at me with a gaze that clearly says 'I love you'.

I smile at her, "I love you, too."

Bani looks at me taken aback and says not sounding very convinced though, "I didn't say it out loud..!"

I bring my face near her ear and whisper, "But I heard it...!"

Bani blush red and hides her face in my neck squealing, "Ohh!!! Veer...!!!"

I too laugh hugging her back.

"Oyy!! Lovebirds!!" suddenly our moments get disrupted by Bella's voice.

"Guys!! For God sake, you two are married....have the whole life ahead to romance. Stop acting like desperate nibba-nibbi!!!😐" Bella hiss at us from the car side.

As if!!!

"And you stop acting as if you've passed 50 years of your marriage already with no spark left😏. For God's sake you got married just last night, girl! So Better act accordingly!!😐" Bani snaps back.

"I know right!!!" Mahir whines in between, "Even my Mom-Dad are more romantic at this age than you, Juliet!!😔"

"Yeah...yeah...! I can see the proof right in front of me. Thinks about Suhagrat even in his sleep! Idiot!!😐" Bella spats back while I and Bani laugh at Mahir's expense.

"Fine!!! Shall we go now!! We won't get to reach there in time, guys!!" Bani exclaims.

"Fine..! Let's go. Now that I can't provide you any jacket, better we have taken the car, right Juliet??😁" Mahir grins but immediately stops receiving a hard glare from Bella.

Bani starts the scooty and I duck behind her. I wrap my hands around her waist tightly placing my chin on her shoulder and Bani immediately stills.

"Wha....what are you doing, Veer....?" she asks me gasping.

I shift a bit more closer to her and say seductively, "Nothing much..! Just taking safety precautions."

"It's scooty, Veer. Not bike.. You won't die even if we meet an accident, you know...!" Bani says with a heavy breath.

"Well...speaking of death, I'm already half-dead over this driver...! So you never know sweetheart!" I whisper in her ear while moving my hand a bit up on the edge of her breast.

Bani inhales sharply and spits, "Keep your hands in limit, Chuha Singhania, or else you will face your other half death in this driver's hand, I'm telling you!"

I love it when she calls me this...!☺️😚

"You've no idea how eagerly I'm waiting for that, Ms driver..!" I say huskily grabbing one of her ahem..ahem you know what...!

"Well, I thought someone was talking about taking things slow just a day ago, hmm?" Bani spits again.

"Taking things slow???" I frown, "Who's that moron???"

Bani giggles, "You're right!! He's definitely a moron. I like this tipsy Veer more." and I hug her tighter trying to  peck on her cheek but fuck this helmets😬!!

After going for a few minutes, I see a food store open on our way.

"Wait...sweetheart!" I ask Bani to stop.

"What...?" Bani asks slowing down her scooty and looks back at me.

"See...there is a store open. Should we buy some food from here??" I tell her.

Bani shakes her head, "No need. We'll get a lot of food store open where we're going. I'll buy you food from there."

"There is..? I didn't know that place had any food store nearby...!" I say being genuinely surprised.

Bani squints her eyes and says, "You already know where we are going...don't you???"

I give her a smug smile, "Well....I guessed. After all I'm The Veeranshu Singhania. Nothing hides from me, babe😉."

"Oh just shut up...! You just ruined my surprise plan." Bani says rolling her eyes and starts the scooty again.

I laugh, "Well....let me tell you, that is not the best place to take your partner on his first date...you know..!"

"You wanna go back??" Bani snaps while taking left turn.

"No..! I was just saying. I would love to be there with you, sweetheart." I say assuring her.

As we pull off outside the stadium, I see Mahir whining to Bella, "Seriously Juliet!!! Of all places in the world you found this football gallery as the most beautiful date spot😒?"

Bella glares at him but this idiot is not to budge.

"What...! Who brings you to a midnight football show for a date, man???" Mahir asks bemusedly.

Bella grabs Mahir's collar and demands, "Why?? What's wrong with watching football match, huh??😐"

This time Mahir looks at Bella with some interest, "Well, what wrong is that...Now is not the time to watch football, but to make our own football team, Juliet😁!"

I agree with you, bro!!! At least the practice...😒

"Urggh!!! Always one tracked mind😑!!!" Bella stomps her foot.

"Stop your nonsense, Jiju...or else don't blame me later if this place become your death spot instead of your so called date spot🥱!!" Bani yawns lazily.

This shuts Mahir's mouth.

"Fine...you people go inside...I'll just grab something to eat and come." Bani says to Bella.

Bella and Mahir enters the Stadium while I and Bani walk towards a street store.

We take some popcorns and coke. As I take out my wallet to pay the bill, Bani stops me, "Wait...It's my date...so I'll pay the bill." she says giving me a smug smile.

I shake my head laughing while walking to the Stadium, "You're making me feel like those fantasy-heroine with all these climbing up my balcony...taking me to date...buying me food... you know..!"

Suddenly Bani stops me on mid-way and says, "Well....you're nothing less than a heroine with this panty basting look of yours you know...But..." then grabbing my t-shirt collar she brings my face down to her and utters quite dangerously, "But...that fact is...you're MY heroine....Only Mine...!!!"

Right now she's looking fiercely sexy. I want to kiss her... Seeing her parted lips I can tell that she wants the same too...but not in this public.

"Ahh...!!! What a beasty hero I've got..!!" I say dramatically swaying my head like girls and Bani laughs.

"Thy not shy away!!....can't resist tho red nose senorita....!" Bani says being equally dramatic and pulls my nose.

Uff this girl...always teasing me about my nose being red when embarrassed...🤦‍♂️

It takes us a few minutes to locate Mahir and Bella in this huge crowd of audience...but when we did, none of us had the propensity of calling them for food. This two have already started their make out session in a dark corner😏.

"You know what sweetheart...we should also find some dark corner..." I suggest Bani while walking along the gallery.

Bani glares at me and barks, "We've come to watch match, Veer...not to make out!! you're just like that white rat!😐"

I make a face, "I'm not saying this to make out, sweetheart. I'm saying 'cause if I remember correctly, your family members also come to see the match, don't they?? What if they see us in the light!!"

Bani sighs looking at me, "Well, my family members have been grounded for midnight match after that day. So, don't worry about that. Let's sit here." Bani shows us a top corner. This place has light but not too much.

Perfect!

"Well....I must say...my sasu ma is a top cheez... But you people are just over the top!! Always outsmarting the house rules." I say while taking seat.

Bani sits beside me and takes out a poster, "Here...hold this..." she gives me an end of the poster while herself holding the other end.

"What's that, sweetheart...?" I ask frowning then look down to see it's a logo poster for Delhi Riders.

"Cheers to the Delhi Riders!" Bani replies with looking excited.

I smirk, "Well sweetheart.... I'm not much of a Delhi Riders fan, you know... My though is that Knight king plays fair."

Bani smirks back, "Keep your thoughts in your pocket, Sweetheart!!" she mimicks me, "Knight King used to play fair before your marriage. Now you will cheer only for Delhi Riders😏!!" saying this she gives me a smug smile.

Whoa....

Unwillingly I hold the poster and hoot for my rival team at the top of my voice with my wife.

Finally the half time comes and my hands and voice get some rest.

"Wooh!! I've never come for this midnight match you know...it's a lot different in day time." I say huffing.

"You didn’t like it??" Bani asks me while shoving some popcorns in my mouth.

"I Did!" I mumble with full mouth, "Just that it's more enjoyable with you beside me... Like everything else is..." I smile.

Bani smiles back shyly. I sneak my hand around her waist bringing her close to me, making turn face to face with me.

"What are you doing, Veer?" Bani stares at me wide eyed.

"What do you think?" I smirk looking at her intensely.

"We Are here to watch the match, remember..." Bani smirks back.

Woh...so Mrs Singhania is in playing mood now.....

I duck my hand inside her hoodie, "Enough of this watching match, sweetheart! Don't you think we should also  hit some goal by now?" I say smacking my tongue to my upper lip and start playing with the elastic of her trousers.

Bani's breath hitches as my finger touches her skin. But she composes herself quickly and the next second I feel sharp hit in my balls.

Ouch!!! 😖

"What was that, girl!!!😣" I cry out.

Bani shrugs nonchalantly,"Just as you said..." then she brings her face close to my ears and slurs, "hitting the goal...tch tch...more precisely kicking the balls!!"

She gives me an evil smirk and I glare back, "I was not talking about this kick...!! I'm telling you Bani...if you still don't stop yourself from hurting my...ahm..ahm...THAT...We might end up going to gynecologist before going to our honeymoon, dekh lena...😐"

Bani snorts at my comment, "Pfit...!!! First learn properly where you should go, stupid!! Gynecologists are for women...It's Urologist for men😂!! So If you really ever end up going to a gynecologist, then I guess I'll have to officially call you my heroine for good, senorita!!😂" saying this she cracks into laughing.

Thank god it's half time...people are busy in their own world!! Warna aj to mera...🤦‍♂️

I spread my one leg and pull Bani in between smashing her into my chest. "Why...wifey!! You're again doubting my male being, huh!!" I smirk lurking my hand inside her t-shirt, "looks like I have show you the demo all over again, hmm??" saying this I start running my fingers under her bra.

"Veer...!" Bani whisper moans with nervous eyed, "There are...um..people here!!"

"You are too close to me, plus too covered sweetheart!! And no one is watching back at this top row." I murmer against her neck.

"If....if you keep doing this na...I...I'll never bring you to another midnight match with me after today." Bani warns me.

I smirk snorting, "Come on, sweetheart!! Ajke baad mein kya...tum khud bhi nhi aaogi midnight match dekhne ke liye yaha.."

"Achchaaa??? And why so??😐" Bani asks fiercely jerking her head away.

I take out my hands from underneath of her t-shirt and put them on her shoulders. Then looking into her intensely I say in a husky tone, "'cause from now on... All your midnight match will take place in our bed...with Me!!"

Processing what I said, Bani blush crimson and hits on my chest squealing, "Uff!! Veer!! Tum bhi na...🙈" saying this she hides her face into my chest.

I chuckle too but no for long!! At the very time I hear an unmistakable familiar voice behind me growling,
"Veer!!! What Are you doing here???"
